This is the absolute KING of Nappy Bags!
Oh my gosh... Where in the world do I begin...? *WARNING!! LONG REVIEW* (I could rave about this bag for days).
I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old. I have the Black and White stripe with Tan accents and matching Tan change mat. I spent a solid week researching all the nappy bags on the market, whether they were sold at physical stores so I could see them in person or only available online, their price points for the sized bag and the actual measurements of the bags. I quickly learned what I did and did not want / need in a nappy bag for 2 t...oddlers and any potential babies down the track. It had to accommodate / serve all ages of children and 2 adults, all at once. I found a second hand Grand Central Take-It-All Nappy Bag in pristine condition for $77, used twice, SCORE! However, when I got it, the matching change mat was missing. I contacted the (USA) company who sent my enquiry to a store called The Stork Nest who stock a large number of Skip Hop products. [name removed] searched high and low to track down this mat for me. The customer service I received from [name removed] at The Stork Nest was outstanding. So if you do misplace the change mat and need to get another matching one, I suggest contacting The Stork Nest and not Skip Hop. The long, canvas-type material handles have a faux leather detail to add cushioning. The handle drop is perfect. I am 5"1 and it sits just above my butt when its on my shoulder. I wanted a Tote style, as opposed to the backpack style, and I wanted a bag that had a spot for everything and could literally hold everything I could possibly need it to, with insulated drink holders on the outside of the bag and not on the inside (Colette Nappy Bags have 1 on the inside) as I thought this compromised my internal storage. Plus, its easier for the kids to grab it rather than 1) pester me as to where their bottle is as we're about to leave the house and 2) require the kids to dig around inside the bag and also discover their snacks for the day or anything else I don't want them getting to, before we have even left the house. I have 1 bottle holder for my massive 2L Tupperware bottle and the other holds both kid's water bottles. Perfect. The bag is lined with a waterproof tan lining so you can see everything inside. All zips are black so they stand out easily. It has 1 (zippered) main compartment with 2 (push-clip) side sections; the "Mommy Side" and the "Baby Side."
Purchased in January 2020 at Facebook Marketplace (used) for $77.00.
Cant live without it!
I adore this nappy bag! It’s stylish and trendy and not at all baby-gear looking. It’s about as functional and tactical as a cute bag can be. With two insulated side pockets, three main storage compartments, some inner pockets, and easy-access outer pockets, every baby (and parent) item can have it’s own place. The ease of cleaning, the sheer size, and the durability are above what they should be for a nappy bag in this price range as it’s a fantastic option for a nappy bag.
The whole bag is BPA and phthalate free.
Cotton straps. Cotton i...s glorious and easy to clean. I have hand washed spit up off of these straps in my kitchen sink on a number of occasions. They still look brand new and they’re really sturdy. They hide stains well, too, because of the black colour. I just adore the pram straps on the Grand Central Take-it-All bag & I find that they are a lifesaver. Initially I was worried about the tiny straps holding the weight of a fully-loaded nappy bag. This bag probably weighs like 5kg or more when it’s packed to the top, and I have noticed that even when it is fully packed it still holds itself to a high standard. I brag to any Mum I see about how much I love this bag. It is incredible and I highly recommend it.
Very happy with this nappy bag
This is a big nappy bag with 3 great size main pockets. I have a newborn and a toddler so I needed a bag that could fit many bits & pieces for both my children and myself. I started out with a good size backpack but still needed something bigger for our day trips. I am very happy with the size. I don't always fill it up on quick trips and find the bag super light to carry. The stroller straps are great especially when my bag is full. The new large insulated pockets on the side of the bag are great for big drink bottles.
Good quality, size, colours, stroller straps
It would be great if it had Metal corner hardware to protect the bottom of the bag. I think the bottom of the bag will wear easily
