So simple and user friendly
My friend introduced me to this site when they was travelling and being a person who never travels, it was so straight forward and easy to use. a 1 stop shop when travelling. Payments are so simple and no stuffing around. Recommend to anyone who is not travel savvy as me.

Pay more if you don't use this!
If you KNOW what you want beforehand, and you're unlikely to make any changes, and you know which airlines you would use, and know which ones you would avoid, then all the hard work is done, and the only thing to do, is find the right flight, with short transfers / stopovers, the right departure / arrival times, adequate luggage allowances, food and drinks included, and free seat allocations, and of course, the right price. Then Skyscanner is hard to beat. Expect a small fee for using credit cards, but that's stated. Comparisons are easy, with ...links to every major airline to describe their luggage policies, food, carry on, the plane type and amenities, and lastly, which 3rd party to book through. This is complete information for you to choose. I found the quotations for my trip to be 100% accurate and totally transparent. The booking through the 3rd party was seamless. It took me less than 5 min to book and pay for my return tickets to UK. Have your passport details handy and your credit card. Too Easy!
Charged Double In Us Dollars
I booked a flight LAX TO ATLANTA on Skyscanner au. Given a price which was comparable to other sites , I chose a deal clicked skyscanner links to different companies and chose first option Spirit airlines . There was only a difference of about $20 more once on the airline s sites . Total price including seats was $378. I have gone back and cannot see anywhere on the Australian skyscanner site that the prices offered were in US Dollars?

very useful search engine
For me, at least one of the sites skyscanner links to is always cheaper than booking through the airline itself. continuously updating pricing. Shows a review of the websites you will be linked to so you can see if they're trustworthy. flexible search options eg trip length.
Dont waste your time or money
I had to book twice for a return flight because it was to different airlines when I went to book the return flight it was full so then had to find a one way ticket but as I had re-entered, the date changed on the site to some random date I bought the tickets and paid for them and then realized it was the wrong date.I tried to change the ticket dates but the company said it was going to cost me the same value to change as the bought tickets as they wanted to be paid in Euros .So then I bought new tickets checked the date and paid for them but wh...en I checked my bank account the new company had charged in USD so I had got charged an extra 30%.So in conclusion I paid over $1300 for $400 tickets.Dont waste your time or money with this company.If you deal with skyscamers then dont deal with these companys Travelgenio & Opodo
One for Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to look into
I went through Skyscanner.au website which showed Australian flag in colour and next to it USD in shaded out grey. I booked Australian domestic travel for elderly parents and selected Trip.com to go through. At no stage in the booking process did it state that the $ on either the Skyscanner comparison page or Trip.com was in USD. It was only when I finished the transaction and received the booking documentation that it states the amount paid is in USD. This is deceptive and misleading conduct by both Skyscanner and Trip.com which they state is their partner, particularly given the significant exchange rate differences. I will be contacting the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to investigate.
Skyscanner not any responsibility for booking-Fraud online search engine
Please dont book through skyscanner, wego, depkey.com webstes. I have been booked ticket through skyscanner and ticket amount they refunded. Still not refunded my cash and skyscanner is telling they are only search engines they dont have any idea about refund. Then how we can believe these kind of websites. SO kindly dont book through these type of idiot online booking agents. Share maximum as well....Already given case against them in kuwait civil aviation and India..Fraud companies...Your amount will be lost...May be they will show you less price but they will cancel your tickets with out any intimation....fraud companies.....
Debit Fee rip off
I booked a flight on line with Travelgenio ( based in Spain with english speaking tele reps)
the promoted fare price was $634 all inclusive and isted on each page of the booking process
when debit card was selected the fare rose to $679,
I rang the contact line a Melbourne number routed to Spain (english speaking rep on the line)
no authority to refer or any authority to address the complaint only to say the only option is to cancell the flight
Ripped off big time - Do Not Use
I flight was requested to price in New Zealand dollars.
The website priced it in $.
At no point did it specific a different currency.
Then when the credit card was charged I was charged nearly NZD $100 extra as it was proceed in USD.
Both websites refused to respond.
Do not use.

Booking with Trip.com and Skyscanner not reliable you can lose full airfare and can't travel
We were not allowed boarding by Malindo Airline and lost full paid airfare because one Australian Passport was expiring in 5 months after booking the family holiday using Skyscanner and Trip.com. We still don't know why Trip.com is collecting all passport details including passport number, issue and expiry dates at time of booking but not using these passport details for actual travel booking. If you rely on them like us you will be disappointed at the Airport.

I had booked a flight in February for June via skyscanner and the next day the flight was canceled without any notice being sent and I learned today that I got at the airline for some clarification, that I can contact skyscanner to see what might be done?
