They don’t care about customer experience

Skyscanner website lead me to mytrip.com. They do not take responsibility of anything, they do not care about the customer at all , my mom end up sleeping at the airport she couldn’t contact me or anyone she had to buy an other ticket because the connection fight hour Change and she didn’t arrive on time , trip.com didn’t care, and it seams that skyscanner either as they keep allowing this kind of agents offer their services trough them

Scyscanner a total Rip off

I have just booked tickets for my wife and infant for a return ticket which was very expensive compared to all other travel agents(my bad I just trusted this website in the first place) .I have asked for a name change which wasn't done and when i tried to cancel the flight booking their prices were sky high which is 50% of the total ticket price.I have just been informed that's how these websites work and they can't do anything about it.Worse experience and worse customer service ever.Total Rip off .Don't waste your money and have a mental stress booking through skyscanner.#stayaway#skyscanner

Stay clear

I was looking for flights from Perth to Bali for April 2019 and skyscanner is trying to offer something which does not exist. It keeped coming up with Malindo Air co share with Batik Air the only big problem with this is Batik Air stopped flying into Perth from the First of January 2019 so how the hell you are offering flights at a price of 500 dollars return direct wait Malindo Air only go's by Malaysia with a stop over in Malaysia so how the hell is that direct. Warning to all think before you use this site.

Not accurate at all

Checked out flights to USA on Skyscanner.com.au-they came up with @$4000 as their fastest @$2000 as their’best’ meaning price as it was 42 hour journey so not ‘best’ in anyone normals book ... I then jumped straight onto qantas app ... $1400 return for a 15 hour flight!! Book direct ignore these comparison sites you’re not getting best deal ..

Skyscammer

This website uses the vulnerability and naivety of inexperienced travellers to trap them into paying exhorbrent prices. I searched for 4 return flights from Brisbane to Hawaii and Skyscanner returned multiple sites with low airfares. I Googled each site for customer reviews and decided on Jetabroad. I paid for the airfares, received my invoice immediately from Jetabroad - but no airplane tickets! Later in the day I received an email from Jetabroad advising that the airline had rejected the airfare and if I wanted to proceed I had to pay an extra $411 per person. It also stated that if I didn't reply back by 8pm that day they would cancel the airfares and issue a full refund. At the time I had paid for the fares and the website went through the various checks, I noticed a message pop up 'checking airfares are still available'. If this 'check' was even performed or accurate why was the need for the airline to reject the airfare?? As I had time on my side I obviously went for the refund - but this was my other issue. I bought these tickets on a Saturday and did not receive the full refund until the next 2 business days - Tuesday, now if I was required to fly urgently or the refund immediately I would have been at the mercy of Jetabroad with no other options but pay extra OR miss my event. If you bag a cheap airfare on one of these sites always do your research fellow flyers, and if you require to fly immediately - book direct via the airline. Happy and safe travels!

As long as the agents pay them money, they dont care what the customer experiences are!!

Skyscanner website lead me to mytrip.com. the worst experience ever, total waste of money and energy. avoid mytrip and skyscanner at all cost. just look at skyscanner have got the manpower to reply every review, we can see how much money they have been ripped off from our hard working money together with the agents.

Worst customer experience ever

Booked a flight through Skyscanner and then received flight confirmation for wrong dates. Flights were from Brisbane to Las Vegas return on the same day. You physically can’t do it? So how dose a website let you? When we went back to sky scanner page it had the correct dates we asked for. We called 4 minutes after booking to correct and they said $160 to change the flights. I don’t understand. Worst customer experience.
We asked for a manger and held for 48 minutes with no resolution. Just an Indian call centre that says to bad. Do not book. SCAM

Recommended best jet got ripped off

I booked through best jet given 5 star reviews on sky scanner, but you can't read the reviews. Best jet stole my money, went into liquidation no flight tickets/ valid booking. Have had to pay again and still trying to get money back through the bank. Best jet never even contacted us to say in liquidation , thankfully the airline did and're booked us. Never trust sky scanner reviews clearly faked, never book through sky scanner.

Skyscanner helped best jet rip off customers

How can you recommend Best Jet and you make it so hard to contact you I see another customer has the same problem and you tell them to contact Support but cannot find it I have used Skyscanner many times and obviously got lucky avoid this mob as they don't care

Think twice before using their service.

I was searching flight ticket through your website and bought 4 return air tickets through Trip.com on 14 Jan 2019). It came to my attention our name sequence incorrect. Our surname recorded as our given name and given name recorded as our surname Including an extra "a" in my given name.

Following their instruction immediately forwarded copy of our current passports.

We received an email 9:55pm (AEST) from Trip.com and offered two options
i) A fee of CNY 1270 (AU$ 261) for names change before 7 pm Beijing time.
ii) A fee of CNY 770 (AU$ 158) for cancellation for each person before 11 pm Beijing time.

During our telephone conversation Trip.com refused to accept and advised would cost CNY 1270 for individual name change and advised to consider cheaper option to cancel our booking. So I requested to cancel and advised money to be transferred to our credit card which they agreed. Immediate after I received a phone call from Trip.com and offered CNY 770 for individual name change instead of CNY 1270. They sent me the additional payment instructions which had given 15 mins to pay (4 people). Unfortunately after forwarding all information my given name remain incorrect. They advised us to wait for airline’s approval, other hand refused extended the cancelation time or assurance for no further additional fee.
.
So to avoid further conflict sent a formal request for cancellation of our reservation before 11 pm Beijing time (email sent at 1:25 am AEST).
Response to my cancellation request they forwarded an email and refused to refund.
All above was occurred within 24 hours of purchasing the ticket. They were so inconsistent and had no idea what communication and correspondence previous agent made.

You don’t always get what you want

Check check check
They advised we were flying with a particular airline
And we end up after checking the FINE print with a totally different airline that we definitely would not fly with
And now apparently we’re stuck with these flights

Sky scanner can no longer be trusted

I have used sky scanner multiple times over the last year or so for both international and domestic flights. I continued using the site because I trusted them, until my most recent experience. I was directed from sky scanner to bestjet to purchase a return flight from canberra to Bangkok. The quoted fare on Emirates was $690. I then proceeded to pay with my credit card. I never received my ticket and after checking my bank statement I discovered that I was charged an additional $1000. So in total I was charged $1691. I have now learnt that bestjet has gone bust and I have no ticket and seemingly no way of having my money refunded. I trusted skyscanner but no longer. If you want to lose your money visit a casino instead.

Bestjet scams and sky scanner failure

Bestjet collapsed on the 18th December,2018. Thousands of people found bestjet through skyscanner search engine. The company can not avoid the responsibility as bestjet had problems with its reputation. they were cheating with customers but skyscanner simply avoid it just to make profit.

Skyscanner did not use the rating system properly. I bought the ticket from best jet through skyscanner. I found them through the search engine . they pur bestjet.com in number one position . that's why most people got deceived and bought ticket.

bestjet was about to collapse on the 28th October,2018. but skyscanner still used them as default travel agency and placed them in the front page. more things are coming out regarding bestjet scam.

skyscanner can not avoid the responsibility of such scam. they should know the reputation and act on it. skyscanner should be liable as well because its a financial loss for the customers.

Over the 91 day window prior to BestJet officially going into administration, Bestjet performed well on both accounts and as such they had a relatively high score (4 – 4.5 stars over the previous few weeks) reflected on Skyscanner. As soon as user complaints increased and we noticed an alarming pattern in complaints, we removed BestJet from our search results. i have been a victim of using this skyscanner site, please don't use skyscanner or rather call them skyscammer. They are joint third party travel agent with bestjet which is now in bankrupt and put on administration. a lot of people have lost the money and flight for the holiday journey because of this site.

Scammer

Hello!
Please don’t use skyscanner or rather call them skyscammer. They do the organise a crime through 3rd party travel agents. You put your bank details and they will be compromised sooner or later!
I bought a ticket through skyscanner 10 days ago and they directed me to travel genio ( partner in crime) they deducted $592 instead of $575 on first occasion. I was upset but okay but now 10 days later mine banking details were leaked and compromised in result of wiping my credit card by $1600. Bank knew straight away when called them and explained them. Only one suggestion just book a flight through direct airline!

I have recently booked flights, as I regularly do through Skyscanner and discovered that the advertised specific flight times had changed on one of the three sectors after booking. This caused some dismay because my wife is travelling with me, however, returning earlier than me, hence two different bookings and I had to pay an additional $400 to have the departing time on one of the sectors changed to match my wife's booking. Could you advise whether this is false advertising as the company involved is taking no responsibility and I cannot contact Skyscanner through the feedback section as my computer will not allow me to go there and there is no phone number or email address that I can contact from Australia.

i searched for flight through Skyscanner and took me to fly365.com website for booking then I went through the process and put all my details including credit card number etc, so when I pressed the button to transfer the money at the end a message came out , says this flight is not longer available. so i am worried about my credit card details that i already put it fly365.com website . has anyone had same experience like this? Thanks.

If no funds were deducted then your card details cannot be share this is covered in the AML codeDont book through skyscanner, wego, depkey websites. Actually i have booked my ticket through skyscanner. during booking it will be goes to depkey.com website and the booking has been completed. The ticket was issued by ethihad airways also. But before travelling i just reenter my PNR number and i identified that the ticket they cancelled and return back my money to them. Still i didnt received my money from skyscanner and depkey. Skyscanner is telling they are only search engines they will not be refund. If they are only search engines how we can believe these websites. I lost around 4000 usd. It happens on July 2019 still they didnt tale action. So i kindly requesting all of the passengers dont book through these kind of fraud websites better to go through travel agents.
