I bought this mattress for my teen son after doing heaps of research. I was still a bit nervous to order as I had never even seen the mattress. We have only had it for one month but we are still very impressed. It is supportive but comfortable, appears well made and also didn’t smell terrible like our previous memory foam pillows did (not from this company). I love that they are from an Australian company (and hopefully one day they will be made here too!?).

Solid memory foam mattress. Was concerned about base slat strength, but held up fair bit of weight nicely. Delivery quick and without hassle. Returns allowed within 90 days is ample.

Exceeded expectations. I bought this to replace a sagging old mattress and since sleeping on this mattress i have definitely noticed that i wake up without soreness anymore, and with more energy. The purchase experience could be improved with better communication regarding transport, since I had to proactively call the company and the freight they used to get an estimate on delivery, otherwise the freight only calls you the day before delivery. Not convenient if you want to synchronize removal of the old matress. Other than that, im very happy with the purchase two weeks on.

We'll take that on board, although, not an excuse, this time of the year is a tricky time with deliveries and working with external delivery companies when mattresses are being transported interstate. I have lived with this mattress for the last five months and I must say overall its very good. If you want to feel what its firmness like go to Harvey Norman and lie on a medium-firm king koil with an RRP of $3-$4k. Those mattresses were on sale at the time and I was about to buy one, up until I looked at customer feedback for them and I became apprehensive. Read morese, my only gripe with it is it's very heavy (presumably due to the amount of springs inside). It's also over 30cm high, meaning some of your sheets may not fit as they did with your old mattress. The mattress feel is difficult to describe it's different to the dozens of mattresses I've lied on and is far more comfortable and supportive than the Koala I lied on at my friends house. The Sleep Republic mattress is initially soft then it becomes firm. It holds you in place and has eradicated my back and neck pain of my old mattress. It does have a medium-firm to firm feel however that's the price you pay with any mattress when you want support. There is no sagging in the mattress and is has retained its shape, it looks the same as it did when it expanded for the first time out of the box. The only fault I can see is that if you're a hot sleeper the topper of the mattress makes you hot. However, that's really what happens when you have so much insulation beneath you and will make no difference to whatever mattress you buy. Overall, there's really nothing wrong with it, if you're struggling to make a decision on what mattress to buy, just get this one.Purchased in .

Don't be fooled by Sleep Republic having less reviews than the competition
After exhausting research I settled on a Sleep Republic mattress. I was slightly put off by the lack of reviews on this site, but was also aware that other manufacturers have either offered rewards or been quite persuasive in getting people to review their mattresses in the days after it was delivered. For this reason I have held off reviewing the mattress I purchased for 12 months.
The main reason why I chose Sleep Republic was the quantity of pocket springs, ~3x other mattresses. After 12 months I can say I really love this mattress.
