Good back support and mattress edge strength
Very supportive but noticed that top layer flattens/sags quickly so if I move to the centre of the bed I feel I’m sleeping downhill. Otherwise it is a good mattress

Poor To Be Honest - Not in stock yet claim to have same day delivery!
We decided on a SR mattress, and the day before we needed, placed our order.
The day of delivery and after selling our mattress in anticipation of delivery, we were sent the following:

Purchased for $1,449.00.
The delivery was received a day from a purchase.
I was super excited to get this bed based on all these reviews. I have used it since Oct 2018 and it’s very sad to say the bed is no longer supportive at all. It started to hurt my back after 6 months to the point I couldn’t sleep. I even purchased the base from sleep republic to help it and no improvement in the support at all. I have spent over $1800 and I can’t even use it. I thought It just must be me but I bought a single mattress from fantastic furniture and it’s perfect, I have no back pa...

Do I have the same mattress and sheets?
Wondering if I have the same mattress as everyone is talking about. As a solo sleeper who sleeps in the middle of the bed, after 18 months I now roll into the middle if I try the sides as it has sagged. As for the sheets, I found the bottom sheet to ball up after first use. It was great initially, but sadly I very much regret this purchase.

Gamble that payed off
Edit: 3 year long term comment/review: This mattress has continued to be great. However, we made a mistake - we have an antique bed which is not the best when it comes to the base. That is, it exacerbates mattress sag. This mattress started to sag/ bow due to this and I started to get lower back problems. I updated the base so it's not such an issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning in this review from years ago.
This mattress is definitely different to what I'm used to - that said, I'm shocked something at this price point can compete wi...th comfort levels of vastly more expensive products. The 'no questions asked' return policy sold me, no doubt about it. I ordered a double for myself and my partner - we are very happy with it. We put the mattress on an old, spring supported frame (antique), which lacks support of any mattress. What we found is this will sag if you don't properly support it - that is, just make sure you have solid slats or a flat base. In our case, we have two large solid wooden boards underneath each of us and it makes it solid. This would be the case with any mattress, so I don't hold it against it at all. So, yes, we are happy and again at this price point it really is a seriously worthy candidate for your money. The memory foam is wonderful to lie on - although a little warmer than other mattresses, it's not too warm (even in our un-air-conditioned flat). How this mattress arrives is very impressive and innovative. It's astonishing that such an excellent products is compressed down to such a tiny and easy to manipulate box on wheels.
Purchased in December 2016 for $999.00.
Questions & Answers
Would your mattress leave a dent in the mattress after 6 months? 1 year? 2 years? I feel like with all those “memory foams” few months later leaves a nice crater in my mattress… if that’s the case, would u offer replacement under warranty? I’m 95kgs
Just read a review from Jackie who posted it on 8th June 2021. She paid $850 for the Queen SR Mattress in May 2021. What offer or coupon enables that price ? A person named Rose at Sleep Republic assured me the best possible price is $1099 ... yet $850 is a nice difference of $249 below that. I felt I was being misled as I had already seen reviews with lower prices.
Hi There, Rose in customer service is correct with the best price she has quoted you for a Queen. This customer you are referring to purchased multiple mattresses in her order, and while her review is under the Queen size, she also purchased a Double mattress- which cost around the $850 mark- which is why we believe she has put that purchase amount.
Hi again, if you go back to Jackie's review, you'll see she updated it with the correct price she paid. Apologies for any confusion.
Any movie with Jackie Chan is funny for sure
Thinking about a double for my new caravan, but need to understand the weight, can you please advise. Plus where are these manufactured & are there any current supply chain problems. Thanks Paul
Hi Paul, Thanks for your questions. The weight of the double mattress is 43kg. If you head to the mattresss page here: https://sleeprepublic.com.au/mattress/ and scroll to the bottom, you will find all info regarding the mattress dimensions and weights. Our mattresses are made with our trusted manufacturers in China, whom we have worked with for over 20 years. There are no current supply chain problems. Hope that helps. Cheers.
