Great way to get a newer car and lower tax

The customer service I've received has been excellent. There have been some delays in getting fuel cards etc, but this has been very easy to deal with and rectify. The price they got the car for was a lot less than I would have ever been able to get for it. Show details ·  1

With a choice, I would not choose them

Customer service experience is terrible. Voicecall always being redirected and put on hold. The staff were not working but the voicemail will tell you they are on another call or away from the desk. Crap.
A lot of hidden costs, not transparent to customers. They charged high brokerage fees, will need to ask them, otherwise it will not be disclosed. Given the lead time for settlement, yet they didn't take any action until I have to call to remind, and gave me last minute to get all the documents ready. The customer service staff blamed me for giving them the documents late when I questioned them on not settling on time. I bought an EV, and they forced me to choose a BP or Shell petrol card, what a joke.

Terrible service - cannot rely on them for processing information correctly

Each and every time I have submitted a request, it has not been processed correctly. Or has not been processed at all. I now call after submitting a request to verify it has been received and processed. I get told it is received and is processed, only to check my account to find out that it has not been done. Absolutely hopeless!

Fantastic experience

My experience was so smooth, straight forward with no stress. My representatives were very helpful and knowledgeable and very quick with communication. The communication from phone calls, to emails and even text messages, I was always up today on where the process was up too.

Increase in repayments

Simple process from start to end

The process of the lease was a simple one. Although I’d recommend having a full understanding of exactly what is wanted is important. There’s no salesperson that offers paint protection, car mats or a tow bar so make sure that you are specific about what you want.

Above & Beyond

The preliminary process of the service/product information I was provided, the Quote, the credit check and The Tender went fabulously - My Vehicle Consultant went above and beyond, as I am an ADHD’er & ASD’er I find these sorts of processes overwhelming and confusing, however, the patience and support I was provided with by the consultant was greatly appreciated. So far my experience has been a positive one : )

Focus on being factual and objective

It's a lot lower than it other states but higher on fees. But it's tax free so I can't complain. If you find anything with higher coverage and lower fees go for that. I'm Focusing on being factual and objective.

Heartless and cruel

My repayments just increased 50% out of nowhere. No previous warning. No forthcoming information about why they would do this, prior to the decision being made. Furthermore when they sent an email saying they would be doing this, the reason they gave did not reflect reality - they claimed I had gone over budget with my Rego/CTP allocation however this wa not the case. I've been trying to call them to resolve the issue and they kept me on hold for almost half an hour, spoke to me briefly, put me on hold again, then the call cut out not longer after. All this, right before Christmas: Smartleasing is cruel and heartless. Show details

About as useful as a Carpetlayers Ladder

Organised to have my vehicle managed through My Car Plan.

Took 5 weeks and 3 consultants to establish the agreement. Then payments have been delayed and mismanaged to the point where my financier has recorded a default against me.

Average call centre wait time is 35-40 mins, all responses are scripted and there is a lack of empathy and accountability.

The whole process costs more time, money and energy than is feasible.

A complete waste of 3 months.

Friendly, Professional and Efficient Service and Teamwork

Respectful, trustworthy customer service

Fantastic service, my representative was so patient with me while I decided what I was going to do. She contacted me regularly and gave me plenty of “think time” ….there was absolutely no ‘pushiness’ to gain business, just genuine friendly, factual assistance. I’ve been leasing with Smartleasing for 8 years now and often wish I’d started it years ago.

I can't understand why every person would not want to salary sacrifice. Who doesn't want to pay less tax

Everyone that I have dealt with at smart salary have been very helpful and very knowledgeable. If I have had to ring up for any reason, smart salary have fixed my problems.

Customer oriented service, still part way through negotiation

I'm an existing customer, looking to start a new lease and I was contacted initially by the team via email ahead of the end of the lease and then contacted them back. The Smartlease team were responsive, without being pushy, and helped me to answer critical questions to assist me in making an informed decision.
