Smartmotion E20 Step Thru Folding Bike

A really good foldable… – I have had this bike two weeks now a nice piece of kit indeed and great value for money has a real quality feel and excellent design being very very comfortable to ride and easy to fold I don’t even miss that there is no suspension I honestly don’t need it and where I ride the bike paths are very bumpy indeed. There is plenty of power and the thumb throttle control system is fantastic I also love the way you can adjust the maximum speed on the controller/console. Two criticisms the motor is rather noisy in fact very noisy it sometimes detracts from a quiet ride sadly, I really don’t know why it has to be so noisy as this is the latest design and version. This is now my third ebike and I have an electric scooter too plus my wife has an ebike and they are all so much quieter! Also the kickstand is very noisy people from 25m away will turn around as it is like an explosion and you almost need work boots on to kick it back you sure would not do it in bare feet or thongs I am hoping it will loosen up over time. Just be aware it has sometimes been very hard to find accurate information regarding this particular updated model, a lot of websites are using the older non-stepthru version specs but with the new pictures and they indicate things like eight speed this is actually a seven speed with a slightly smaller battery than in the old version. So all in all a very nice bike and I was lucky enough to purchase it for $1839 delivered and then eBay were good enough to give me another $100 off so very much a bargain!
