Don’t do it go anywhere else
All they did was move my gap from between my front two teeth to two teeth over. They say they will do it in x amount of time and it will look like this but it is lies. They send you out touch up kits that don’t actually move teeth straight. I’m in the processes of getting a partial refund and even that is predicted to take 10 days to process to a credit card I told them is CLOSED, then another 10 days to go to my bank account. This company is abhorrent to say the absolute least. Someone sue!!!!!!!! Do a class action lawsuit. They’re doing it in the states do it here!! I cannot stand them with a passion. Worst company I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. Seriously go to anyone else but SDC. Save yourself!

Read the reviews, they have good reviews for the consultations where they sell you the dream. As soon as you pay, it becomes the worst experience you’ll ever have. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Can never get through to anyone, then when you do they all lie to you. Promise you everything but don’t deliver. Took months to come after was told it would take weeks, they lied where it was every time I spoke to someone. Hold times of over 30 mins every time. They ignore emails and don’t reply. My teeth have not straightene...d and stopped fitting in the aligners by month 2, my two front teeth are actually worse. It has been so stressful! I’m a very reasonable and chilled person but this has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. So sick of being promised and lied to. So disappointed and wish I never did it. Please do your research and read reviews properly. I wish I never did it and just did Invisalign from the start.
So very friendly
The staff at the Smile Direct office in Brisbane are polite, friendly and warm. The appointment was for my thirteen year old daughter Heidi and they directed most of the session to her, which was nice for her. They also appeared to know their product very well and were very efficient in getting the required scans.
Not happy I went to the Brisbane store for a revaluation scan after 9 months of my teeth still not straight got my 3D scan lady was lovely! Then 3 days later get an email saying iv been approved for a impression kit to be set I email back and told them I dont need it as iv had a scan done,no response and charges me $50 for it. Then I call customer care they tell me oh the scans are only for new customers they can’t use your scans for a reevaluation, they why did you send me 40 mins in to the city for nothing. So iv been waiting 3 weeks for my a...ligners to come now they won’t be Ill have to do the kit first then send that back and wait see if they are approved and then wait another 6 weeks. The support manager on my case still has not responded to me after 3 weeks. Really not happy at all would most defiantly not recommend to anyone with all this hassle.

Was meant to receive my order between the 11/03/2020 and the 18/03/2020 however I'm still waiting was then told in their own words "ETA is 3-4 weeks but due to your case we will work to send them sooner" however still nothing. Called again today and was told it'll be another 4 weeks....
Didn’t know how to use machine
Staff were friendly but had no clue on how to use the 3D scan machine properly. I felt like a test dummy while multiple people kept coming and leaving the room.
Painful slow service
I've had to have my aligners redone since they kinked and weren't able to correctly align a couple of my teeth. I contacted support on multiple occasions and emailed forms/photos of the current fitting, I was told I would be contacted within a couple weeks. Nothing happened.
I chased up and was told I would need to come in for another scan. I did and was informed that my new aligners would come in 6-7 weeks. I contacted support 6 weeks in stating I don't have any shipping/tracking number yet. They assured me that I would receive the align...ers before then end of January and that tracking numbers wouldn't be assigned until they ship. Its now 8 weeks later, just I contacted support to ask what is the status is. They informed me that they still haven't been shipped and will now ship in early Feb. I asked for a tracking number and they couldn't give me one and told me the same story they can't get a tracking number until they ship. I can't help but feel that I am never going to see these replacement aligners and I'm going around in circles. Meanwhile I've been told to keep wearing the ones I have, which have cracked and I'm worried that the continued delay will allow my teeth to regress, and IF I receive replacement aligners, they won't fit due to the delay and I'll have to start this whole process over again. Regretting this purchase.
Great Service, but gave me false hope
When i went to SmileDirect club, the people were very friendly and helpful. Aradia asked what I would like to get fixed and I told her the crowding of my bottom teeth. She told me they will 100% be straight in the next 5 months and gave me hope that it would actually work. 72 hours later when I received the treatment plan, it showed my upper arch being straightened, however no improvement on my bottom teeth. I was confused and emailed SmileDirect customer service as to why this is. Johanna V replied to me saying "...That is due to the fact tha...t your aligner therapy was approved for the upper arch only. This is the most amount of dental movement that can be achieved with Smile Direct Club's aligners..." I understand this but I am not happy that I cannot get what I wanted, I was given false hope from SmileDirect and would like to Cancel my plan.
Great energy, a bit heavy with the sales component
Great energy, lovely and enthusiastic dental assistance. Pain free and professional procedure. Sales component at the end was a bit forceful, diminished confidence in their dental abilities when they wanted a sale more than they wanted to help.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The scan process was very easy as well. I didn’t feel pressured to sign away or give any of my banking details at the visit. The operator kindly discussed payment options and gave me the contact number to call when I was ready. I felt she may of been new to the job as she was extremely (if not a little to) enthusiastic the whole time. I am keen to see what the orthodontist report shows. I had a lot of contact before the initial visit but day two after the visit and I have only had one system generated e...mail stating I will get a report within 3days. I am guarded as the whole process is new in Australia so I explained I will not provide credit card details until I have a report. Whether this is holding the whole process up or not I am not sure. I am excited to see if everything comes together as it is a great concept.
