Nothing like the display
Recently bought a Slumberland Devon from Snooze. Upon arrival the mattress felt far more firm than the display in the shop which we were told had been there for 4 months and were told to sleep on it for a few weeks to let the body get used to it and also to allow the foam time to break in. After a month and approximately 200 hours it isn't getting any better and Snooze don't want to know about it, even having the gall to offer to replace the mattress topper for a further payment of $715. Now I am damned sure their display has not had 200 hours ...worth of time spent on it yet it is far softer. We suggested there may have been a mix up at the factory with the labeling but still they don't care. Exceptionally fast to take your cash but no backup whatsoever. Take your money elsewhere people!!! UPDATE: After 5 weeks of pain for my partner and complaining to Snooze the manufacturers (Selectopedic, I think they are called??) finally sent somebody out to look at the mattress. He agreed that it wasn't right and arranged for it to be taken back to the factory for inspection a few days later. It was returned to us the same day with a thousand apologies from the manufacturer. The mattress feels a lot more like the display now and the pain has subsided. Needless to say we have heard nothing from Snooze at all. As I said earlier: 'Take your money elsewhere people!!!'.......Maybe somewhere that knows the meaning of 'customer service' and 'the customer is always right'.
