Snugglers are surprisingly good!
I have an 18 month toddler & have always bought the most expensive brands of nappies, even choosing some pricey cloth nappies for the first 6 months. Over Xmas we ran out of nappies & all I could get late on a public hol were Snugglers. They were on special at my Supa IGA for $10.98 for 32 - being so cheap I expected the worst. I was pleasantly surprised!
My son is slim & he has had bad leak experiences with Huggies & some Eco nappies but Snugglers fit him well and we had no leaks. They seem to absorb well & hold a good amount in them - althou...
I bought these nappies just to try after only ever using huggies dispoable nappies. I was surprised that they are actually a pretty good cheaper option. They are made out of similar material as huggies. They feel similar. They have great all over designs in nice colours which is good for summer when you can see the nappy. I'm pretty happy with them. I can't tell much difference between these and huggies. They might be just a tiny bit less absorbent but it is hard to tell. They are $6 cheaper then huggies.
Good quality product for a cheaper price.
Maybe not quite as absorbent as the huggies nappies, but they are pretty close.
I find these excellent value for money and can usually buy them at chemists, and excellent value at Big W, especially when on sale. I wouldn't buy any other nappies now, i don't think many other nappies can compete for quality AND value.
I tried these years ago and didn't like them at all, however after using Huggies for years I gave them another go as money became a bit tight, and I was pleasantly surprised. They have improved remarkably and I can't find many different between them and Huggies which are far more expensive. My son has had no ...
Amazing nappy, fierce competitor!
I have used Huggies ever since my now 5 month old son was a newborn, we tried Snugglers out when he was about 2-3months old but found the smaller fit didn't suit him - the leg elastic was very tight and left red marks.
Recently he has gone up a size & is wearing Huggies toddler size (he is only 7.5kg but they fit him well) & i thought we would give Snugglers toddler a try, the fit is perfect this time & even better then Huggies around his waist/legs! I'm amazed!
The nappy lining is very soft, designs are cute & they really are my 2nd ch...oice compared to Huggies, i will definitely be using Snugglers as our day time nappy from now on. My son is a very heavy wetter, so i wont be using them for night time as i find they aren't quite as absorbent as Huggies, but great for during the day when you are doing more frequent nappy changes. (I suppose if you had a bubbie that wasn't a heavy wetter they would be perfect for a night time nappy) Reliable, great bargain when on special, cute designs, absorbent, fit well, stretchy grip tabs & soft inner lining. Perfect nappy to use during the day, not absorbent enough for night time use
Good, solid nappy with good fit and absorbancy, but not excellent value for money. Prefer to buy these on sale.
These are good nappies -- the fit is pretty good, as is the absorbancy. Price is quite competitive if they're on special.
Probably a bit expensive.
I did not have a lot of luck using the Snugglers for my toddler and I would be very hesitant to purchase them again. They just leaked so often that I took them back to the store I purchased them from and went back to my usual variety. They just did not seem to do the job as good as other cheaper nappies out there. It is good that you can buy them in large boxes but that is about the only benefit of them.
Cam buy them in large bulk boxes, often on special, cheap.
The ones I used leaked quite regularly.
I used to love snugglers for my older son but they have changed since then we are always having issues with leaking and they rub on my younger sons tummy and leave red marks as they are not as well fitted as they used to be.
Cheaper than other's out there
They leak and are not well fitted.
The price is good on these, but I don't feel they're durable enough for prolonged use. The designs are really cute, but the lack of absorbancy means that you're probably better to splash out for huggies.
A brand famous in Australia for being quality,
yet the price isn't overwhelming, they fit fairly decently, they don't sag when they're on for a longer amount of time, like overnight.
The issue with these is that they're not very absorbant. I find they give a fair bit of leakage and often one wee is enough to render them totally done during the night.
I have tried all sorts of brands of nappies and found myself going back to the snugglers..They had also proven to be well worth the little money they cost and had always done an excellent job keeping everything in - well that was until they re-vamped the nappy and changed it completely.. I had got these nappies on sale so of course I stocked right up & now I cannot wait until they are finished.. Every single night I am having the same problem with the nappy leaking and even in one case (after a whole night's sleep) had the whole top of the nap...py exposed like it had been torn open & the inside of the nappy was all over my son's pjs.. He has constantly got the 'crystal jelly' (nappy content) on his privates when I change his nappy.. If you can get your hands on the old snugglers (the plain white ones with the fish/sea pictures on the tabs) then go for it - they were great, wish they still had them! While they still have the new design (colourful over the whole nappy) I won't be getting them again.. I will be using the remainder of my supply to use if we get caught short - but only for during the day. Cost effective, cute designs & not a big and bulky nappy I am having major issues with leakage! If the child is to get around with nappy on, no pants - the nappy goes all bally & ends up like a lump of fairy floss on their bum!
We bought snugglers nappies because they were on sale and were quite a bit cheaper than other nappies we had bought previously. however for us they were prone to leaking and could only be used for a short time without changing them. the fit was reasonable but i would not buy them again.
they were a very good price. on sale they were quite a big savings against some of the other major brands.
we had a lot of leaks with this nappy. really - when you get a nappy you rely on it to work so this was a big falling down in this brand for us.
These are overall a really good buy for anyone on a budget. You get an excellent value for money as they are very durable and strong for a nappy that is not big and bulky. I have never had any problems with leakage or spills and find they fit really well. They don't cause rashes and have excellent tabs that stick really well. I would recommend these nappies to any mum looking for a bargain.
I like the value for money, the strength of the lightweight nappy, and it's absorbancy is brilliant.
I have no cons with the snugglers nappies.
