Extremely difficult with this company. Headache from start and I am still being told things that are not happening. My Account Manager is not even contactable.
Please find another provider, I highly encourage not to use this company
The response from the company is a fair example of how they treat their customers. To make accusations that I am a liar and to provide proof of purchase is dumb founded. How about ask for further details and stop there.
A lot of trouble getting started
Only when I received my Synergy bill did I realize there was no solar power connection
Thankfully Preeti Sharman helped me trouble shoot the problem.
She has been most patient with my lack of techno know how and frustration at having a bill I should not have to pay if the system was set up properly in the first place.
I highly recommend her polite , competent , patient manner.
We have just completed the set up today after multiple phone consultations.
I phoned Western Piwer last week and they were here to do there but the next day .
The installers of the panels told me on 1st April they had notified Western Power…clearly a break down in communication and as a result I’ve had to foot the bill.
Solar power nation is a Complete joke
We ordered solar panel system in Dec. 2020 to be completed in Jan 2021. Installers failed to turn up on three different days. I arranged to stay home for those days loosing my work days. Then we found out that solar power nation is having difficulty in installing on the tiles we have . Then I asked to send an installer for pre checks so that he knows what to do and can explain us as well. Multiple phone calls , multiple emails later we get an installer unannounced to check the roof. Then solar power nation calls and asks for 2000 $ more to ins...tall. It was solar power nation's failure to identify the roof correctly before quotation . I lost on solar rebate which is reducing on yearly basis. I lost on the benefit of reduced power bill for more than 3 months. And I still don't have a solar panels as solar power nation did not leave me any option than to cancel my order. In the process I have actually lost all the confidence in this company. The way they communicate is pathetic.
Stopped working within one month
Installation was alright but solar stopped working within one month. Lodged complaint but even after 15 days no solution so can't recommend anyone to get solar installed with them. Dont know if they going to fix it or not
Worst customer service ever - caused my house to flood
1 month on from my last issue and this company continue to fail and disappoint, providing below terrible service. 2 nights ago my house flooded from all the rain - this happened because of the low quality workmanship carried out by solar power nation (after multiple phone calls and emails, they sent someone who only completed half the repair 1 month ago and never completed the job). I sent an urgent email with photos explaining the urgent situation and they did not acknowledge it. After several phone calls to the telephone messaging service the...y have now employed (who cannot do anything except pass on messages) I finally got a call back on Friday afternoon saying he will contact the tradespeople and call me back with a time they will come to fix it (over the weekend). Never called back. It has been pouring down rain and my house is a mess not to mention the long list of damages. This company are quick to take your money but aftersales they do not care one bit. I will be taking further action.
Worst Service ever experienced !! Stay away !!!
I installed 6.5KW system from them in March 2019, the system never performed well so I requested them to send someone to check the system. After continuous calling and emailing, they finally sent a tech in December 2020 (21 months after installing) to check only to find half of the panels were not even connected all this time. When I asked for compensation for the fault made by their installer, they simply closed the case mentioning there is nothing wrong with their product! I have made a complaint with Fair Trading.
I had a lot of trouble getting my Solis App connected... was very complicated and I am still not sure how it works. My need more assistance in the future.
Terrible customer service.
Despite a target date of the end of January, I'm still waiting for my solar panels. They hardly respond to any requests for updates. No communication when they cancelled my installation at short notice, It took 3 phone calls to get a confirmation that they will not be attending on that day.
Update: They have finally installed my System, arrived unannounced and was just lucky that my wife was at home. The installers whilst friendly left rubbish everywhere, including cigarette butts in the garden and on the roof.
The final straw was when it r...ained after installation, we now have a damp spot in the ceiling where on inspection the installers have cracked a tile into multiple pieces exposing the ceiling cavity. They have also failed to respond to any request to repair the damage. Overall, I do not recommend this company at all.
No after sales service
Wifi connection issues with solar inverter since installation last year in August 2020 remains unresolved. Customer service support is unsatisfactory. Limited or no follow up support from Solar Powernation.
Lucky to those customers who has no installation problems !
Watch Out - Poor Workmanship From Unreliable Tradesman.
Watch out - poor workmanship from unreliable tradesman. This company had their tradesman install the system on a new build. Drilled multiple holes in the outside roofing. Didnt fix work, multiple attempts to rectify. Advised of a $100 discount. Two months later Solar Power Nation ring and abuse as to why $100 remained outstanding on account. Email sent and no one ever replied. Be careful using this company as they use cheap inexperienced tradespersons and don't care about the quality of work they deliver as long as they get their money.

Installation team of 3 - clean and efficient - polite and respectful tradesman.
in and out within the day. for the quality of products i purchased- they were by far the cheapest. Lots of scammers in the industry always choose a Clean energy council (CEC) retailer as opposed to a member. They use all products certified by the CEC - including fire retardant silicon for wiring.
Updated - So the install went brilliantly the after service is a joke - We were told smart meter installation form will be arranged by the SPN - We waited 2.5 weeks th...en we completed the form ourselves and submitted it to our electricity provider - after we submitted the form now SPN are requesting we complete the same form so that they can send it off. I wrote an email explaining whats happened during the 3 weeks of nil contact. It seems Shaun the account manager has no tact in communication the last email sent was an attachment with Subject line FWD: Need Signature. If its that important and you cant read the email thread i suggest a phone call would have been more effective. I had already responded to Hazel who contacted 3 weeks after the install. Its such a shame from a 5 star review (the installers were brilliant - as was the sales team - RE Jas) Now to an overall bad review due to a lack of after sales customer service that is delayed, unresponsive and not helpful at all. I would actually like to discuss the process with the owners of the company to provide this feedback.
I was promised an installation date 8 weeks from the initial quote, failed to deliver and no communication for almost 2 weeks. New installation date scheduled a further fortnight, FAILED again. NO Communication AGAIN. TERRIBLE service, no attempt at honouring our agreement.
Awful, don't ring, you never get off their lists
I contacted them for a quote, didn't go ahead. I get multiple calls and text every week. Keep blocking numbers, asking to be taken off. Just can't get them to stop.
Happy with the system, communication could have been better.
Quote process: was straight forward and the price compared to other was competitive. Pros: They amended the system components to what I wanted. Cons: felt pressured to sign receiving multiple communications asking when I would sign.
Install: the install is broken into an install team and an electrician. The install team turned up on time and knocked the pannel install over in no time. Unfortunately they where only able to fit 18 of the 18 pannels. On completion the install team told me the electrician would be here on Tuesday. Electrican didn'...t show and on following up i was provided an email saying the electrician would turn up on the Sunday. Sunday come and once again no show. On calling SPN I was informed that the install departments administration didn't work sundays. So i requested the electrician direct number. Credit to the Electrican he called me right away and informed me he had it scheduled for the Monday. He turned up on that Monday.The Electricans work was fantastic with a keen eye to detail. A week later the Electrican Pros: Good install. Cons: My time wasted twice. Solar Power Nation could improve their communication. Service connection: for me it happened with in 5 days. No issues in this area. after a phone call or two SPN did provide a small credit for the pannel the installers didn't install. And the final invoice was amended before final payment. PROS:They were quick to reissue the final invoice so I could pay them.

As you probably are aware from my review I am having serious issues with my system and the service that is being provided I have being lied to multiple times promises made and not met i need someone to take action and responsibility rather than passing the blame constantly and nothing been done,
Why has no one bothered to respond to any of my calls or emails.
Your installers have damaged my roof and gutters, I have provided photos many emails to SPN. I have also provided the quote by a roofing company last week as requested by Neel.
This company is a joke, how did they get their licence to trade in Australia?
We would like to inform you that there were minor dents on the roof, but you wanted us to change the whole color bond sheet which is not possible for us. We have offered to fix the issue regarding the scratches on the gutter but got no response from your side. We want to get this fixed, if you give us confirmation about the same.

SPN has dented/damaged my new roof panels, and to large dents the size of my fist I might add, this not a simple tiny dent as you can see by the quote I have provided you with.
Please send an independant roofer from a reputable company to inspect and quote should you feel this is unjust??

My suggestion is to have a competent employee not N.D call me asap, preferably from your management team, should you indeed have one over there.
Your offer of $100.00 was only for the scratches to my gutters, I have not negated this offer I welcome this $100 but, SPN seems to be missing a few too many screws up stairs ?? You need to offer me the additional $650.00 to cover the full cost of the repairs for all the damages that was done.

We would like to inform you that there were minor dents on the roof (yes I am aware these are dents caused by your company??) but you wanted us to change the whole color bond sheet ( because there is no other way to repair these dents that I am aware of??) which is not possible for us (why is this not possible??)
