Beautiful Ceiling Paint! – As the owner of a business that specialises in ceiling restorations I highly recommend Solver/Watyl ceiling whites. They are among the flattest on the market and have excellent fill & coverage qualities. Sadly the previous reviewer has no idea about painting as you should never use flat ceiling paints in outdoor settings, especially in humid Far North Queensland. Just as you don't use petrol in a diesel vehicle, you must use the right type of paint for the area you are painting. Flat paints are much more prone to mould which is why they are generally not recommended for bathrooms and other wet areas.

Great paint, Highly recommended! – I tried another well known brand (their Ceiling White +Plus Kitchen & Bathroom) and the result was terrible, extremely patchy and near impossible to maintain a wet edge as the paint dried so quickly. While I'm not a professional painter, I do have plenty of painting experience and have a sound technique that has given great results using other paints.

Having good experiences with Solver paints previously, I decided to give the Maxi Ceiling a go... and I'm so glad I did!

Firstly, this paint is extremely forgiving. So if this is your first attempt to paint a ceiling, then I highly recommend this paint. It's working time is quite good, allowing you to go back over an area you may have just missed when rolling/spreading the paint out without leaving roller marks.

Secondly, it drys and levels well. Brush marks are minimal when cutting in and the paint has a great flat finish which helps hide any imperfections in your technique.

Although this paint isn't anti bacterial/anti mould, you can add something like VC175 to the paint to prevent mould if you wish (the VC175 smells pretty bad when first added but fortunately the smell does dissipate over time!).

Lives up to name – After a disastrous exercise with another well known brand paint, I consulted with a Solver dealer and with a little more confidence purchased this paint. All prior prep work had been done. This paint goes on very smoothly, easy to use, coats the area and dries well. 2 nd coat tomorrow and based on the 1st coat performance I'm feeling confident.

I am aware we live in a cost effective society, yet, when it comes to painting Solver paints do deliver. Forget about the rest. Quality paint
