Please Stay Away From This Company & Its Offshoots. All Lies
On purchase of the battery, I was promised the world as usual by push sales staff
They said the solar FIT will be higher than the standard after the battery had been commissioned & turned on.
They also said my bills will be the lowest if nothing at all & I might even receive credits.
My bills during the summer have never been higher than now.
There are no plan choices with members energy which is not mentioned at the time of signing up.
I have been waiting for over 2 months for a callback. The call center staff are unhelpful & just organize "Callbacks" which never happen.
This is all a scam.
Please stay away from this company & its rebranded offshoots.

High pressure sales. They keep sending sms sales messages despite being requested not to.
They promote misleading high pressure sales pitches on sub-quality solar batteries that are NOT a good price. They request your phone number and email address before they provide any information to you, and then they spam you with sales messages. Despite being asked to remove my phone number from their records, and being told that this had been done, I continue to receive their spam. They should be reported to ACC for inappropriate sales behavior.

Read moreained. It is up to you to review your systems and not just respond to those of us who go to the trouble of actually publicising your misbehaviour. It's your business, clean it up, and then you won't need to "put out fires" or respond with PR fluff.
Pushy sales and they try to upsell afterwards
I saw their ad on FB, made contact and received a return phone call. The sales person was very pushy. After discussing the solar battery, they tried to sell a "maintenance plan" to clean my solar panels and check the inverter. I declined the offer, but I had to say no numerous times almost to the point of shouting, until they finally stopped pushing the sale. After being advised that a 2.9kW battery would suffice, after I provided all the information that was requested, I then receive a phone call from a different sales person attempting to sel...

I asked that they send info on the larger battery, I did not agree to buy it until I had the documents, but I received an invoice for the larger battery, even though the email content said "quote". On top of that, after reading the T&C, which they don't provide to you, only a hyperlink to a website where you have to download the document, they state that they can charge you a $250 cancellation fee. Not happy with the way they conduct business. As an update- After emailing the company with my concerns and my request to cancel the order, I requested that any further correspondence be via email as I didn't want to be pushed by their sales team, I received numerous phone calls, which I ignored. Eventually the last voice mail left said that my deposit would be refunded in full. True to their word I received an email with a refund receipt, just waiting to ensure that it appears in my account. They need to train their sales persons better to take no as meaning no and to email the full T&C to the prospective customer and not make the customer have to search for it. Any charges such as "cancellation fees" should be explained up front, and don't try this trick of upselling larger batteries. If you want to run your business properly, conduct a proper site inspection and advise the customer before attempting to extract a deposit.- Value for Money

Don't trust SouthAus Solar products
I viewed SouthAus Solar ad for a battery for my PV solar roof system. I called and was explained the offer, I asked the payment requirements for a purchase in cash from me. The sales person said, a deposit, followed by a visit in 2 to 8 wks time visit to inspect my home, when I would pay 40% with the balance on installation.
I get a call a few days later offering me a larger battery for an additional $5k, I declined, a few days later I get another call offering a install date, and was advised no pre install visit was to occur. And I have to ...
