Peace of mind
Love the watch, it’s real peace of mind to know that I can reach my son and he can reach me. My only criticism is the battery life, doesn’t last even 24 hours. So need to be mindful that it’s fully charged first thing in the morning.

My kids like using it. They love using the emojis.
Can't get much more than 6-8hrs life from it, despite following all Spacetalk's suggestions. I'm concerned if something did happen to them that the battery won't see them through. Have to pay a mthly App fee, additional to mobile plan. Not waterproof which is a negative with kids who love water

No $10 plan available from Belong on the first month
I bought this thinking to pay the $10 a month plan, after looking for a month EVERYWHERE I found out Belong has the $10 available only for existing customers. JBHIFI need to be advised about this before selling product.

Cost doesn't really add up to be smart
Received as a gift for my 9 year old for Christmas. I knew it would need some expense, but the ongoing cost is a bit ridiculous for the price. By the time I had to purchase a $7 monthly subscription and $15 prepaid sim card plan/credit, I was already a bit meh about it, but persevered. As expected, she chewed through the first batch of data quickly, but I expected when the novelty wore off that this would be less of an issue. Except that it's regularly updating her location, and when she puts it in her bag for sport so it doesn't get wet, it pr...oceeds to SOS call everyone because the 10 second press isn't 'kid proof' enough. On that, the splash proof-ness also needs a rethink to be waterproof... kids don't get the difference. Also, the battery really needs to last longer. Lastly, I don't love the limited features for parents. I like that on messenger kids I can review her messages if needed or concerned. The app would be better linked to the device to record all usage.

very expensive, many hidden costs - in addition to > $200 price tag for watch, expect around $200 per year to use it
the watch is easy to use and has positives - sos button, pre-set messages, no social media, no games, can learn to tell time etc. However the hidden costs are significant. Made the mistake of purchasing a watch locked to telstra - cheapest plan is $20 per month, plus minimum $6.99 subscription for an app to actually use it.

Not being able to call
Hello, I am having a problem. My son could call me but I am not able to call from my phone being a emergency contact.:(

Great watch but poor quality plastic.
We bought a Spacetalk in January 2019, by August it was chipped and cracked. The housing was replaced For free by All My Tribe and about two weeks later it was chipped again. We taped it up and carried on but by March 2020 it was badly chipped and the strap was almost split in two. This time both the housing and the strap were replaced for free by the retailer. It is now August 2020, a small chip had appeared a few weeks ago so this time I patched it up with putty, however now the housing is now so badly cracked, the strap has broken away from ...it. I am tossing up between replacement or buying a totally different watch. It is used by a young adult with an intellectual disability who sometimes wanders off. It was bought because of the GPS feature which has been very useful as have the ability to phone and text. The reward stars were also a favourite. If the watch housing was more durable I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it but sadly the quality of materials used doesn’t match the usefulness of the app.

Love the idea but the watch needs improving
I love all the functions of this watch, the peace of mind it gives is excellent. My big issue is that at 12 months I had to send it away to be repaired (not covered under warranty) due to cracks in the case, band and the charging pins not working correctly. It’s been a few months and now there’s already cracks in the case again. My 10yo daughter is as careful with it as children are but I’m still disappointed. I don’t think we’ll be repairing it again and will look to replace with something else.

Started perfect, until my daughter could not hear out of watch when I talk to her on the phone. Sound is turned up high and troubleshooting page does not give much information. A bit disappointed to start with as I only gave her the watch for her birthday 2 days ago.
Also opened up back of the watch and the silver slide where sim card goes falls off wanted to take it back but hard when present and current situation.
Please help as my daughter is devastated!!!!

Brought for my son with a disability.
Have had watch for less than a month and while I find it super helpful and great there is one huge downside and that’s the watch isn’t waterproof. Given its target is for the younger children this is a huge letdown. My son quickly jumped in the spa forgetting about his watch on his hand and immediately realised once in the spa, however watch is now rendered useless.

Not durable enough for a child
I love the watch but unfortunately we have sent it away 3 times for cracked plastic housing on the watch, I think for a child it needs to be much more durable!! My daughter is 10 and certainly isn’t rough with it but just seems to keep breaking which I’m very disappointed with for the price I paid for it!!

Not made for kids, but made for kids
I am going to be as constructive as I can as let's face it this is an expensive purchase. I am rating each part of this product with stars. I will rate functionality, battery life, customer service, durability and waterproofing.
The functionality of this watch is exactly as they say. It has not failed us in that sense. So 1/1 star! Im happy here.
The customer service is seriously flawless, there isn't a moment that the company does not assist so again well done 1/1 star!
Battery life is great once you reduce the regularity of the watch...sending out signals. If you have frequent signals pinging back to the app it drains battery life very quickly so reduce it to hourly and it lasts a full day. So 1/1 star. Now to the cons. This watch seriously was made without the daily activity of a child in mind. It can not get wet ..... At all!!!! I mean at ..... All!!!!! Our little miss 8 year old got it wet while washing her hands and it died. So now washing hands at school the watch has to come off and back on again and in turn the clasps have broken and she has lost the rubber holders that the band slips into on numerous occasions. We ended up purchasing a few to have on hand but it is truly annoying. We were lucky in the instance of the wet watch as we had had many other issues with the watch previously and the company was great in arranging a replacement for half price so again customer service great but now I am up to almost $500 for this watch. So for waterproofing it gets 0/1 stars. Really disappointing.

Just bought spacetalk adventurer. My boy can't hear people he's talking to. It's muffled and faint. I have turned up the volume while in call to high and no change. On the flip side I can hear him loud and clear on my phone

My sons Spacetalk watch has some randomn woman on his voicemail as the asnwering machine. Also his watch never ever rings it goes straight to this voicemail. I cant find where o change it! It was brought brand new instore at officeworks
