Advertising "Out of Stock" is now common practice it would seem.
DO NOT BUY FROM SPARESBOX
unless you can afford to wait much longer than the advertised delivery time.
Sadly, it seems like it has become common practice for Sparesbox to list items for sale, get your money, then say the item is out of stock. They then make you wait, holding on to your money for as long as it takes the items to come in stock. They never use to be like this, but from my experience and reading the reviews of others, this now appears to be the case.

Made a purchase and was ignored. Had to raise a claim through paypal . Was awarded a refund 1 minute later so they obviously have a poor history.
all round good service will buy parts again from them only problem was the security on payment but everything was as ordered
Terrible all round, always out of stock and poor customer service
I ordered 3 items (2 to save shipping). I received 1 item a couple days later than the expected wait time.
I received an email questioning availability of a second product I ordered and told it was not available.
I didn't see that email until over a week after it landed in my junk folder (no customer follow up with a phone call).
I replied to the email and questioned the 3rd item and then was ignored.
Its almost been 1 full month since the order and the main part I wanted is still not in and I am not getting replies from the customer service email direct or online enquiry. There is no phone number to call.
Useless - go buy your products elsewhere...
Wrong Description on eBay and Wrong Part Supplied
I Purchased a filter on eBay based on the description provided. The filter supplied was wrong and did not match the description. This company does not accept they are wrong. Very poor service so beware.
Horrible service and disgraceful customer service. Lack of training to their “customer service” and how to talk to customers.
Being told by Janelle that she essentially doesn’t care about my order and it will come when it comes.
For a company that is owned by GPC, you would expect a lot better service and respect for their customers.
I have lodged a formal complaint about sparesbox to Rob Cameron from GPC. I’m sure he will like to see the unprofessional staff

Everything is good if your not in a hurry. Then it goes really bad when you require a refund. No communication or regard for their customers. Took 2 weeks delivery to Tas, Now I've been waiting a week for them to organise a refund for a dud part. How hard can it be to send an address for a product return!! No fun shopping here.
Waiting 2 weeks just for my items after being told it would take 2-4 business days. Definitely don’t recommend at all never buying from here again I can see why it has bad reviews!!!
Lots of small purchases
I buy a lot of small bits and pieces as I need them via ebay (yep, 1X relay!) everything has turned up quickly, no problems. Price wise, better than my 2 local auto stores. For me, Sparesbox is great.
Slooooow to pack and send, zero customer service. Not recommended.
It's taken weeks and the parts I have ordered haven't even been packed and posted yet. Customer support is non responsive. Wouldn't recommend and won't be using them again. This is my third purchase from them and my last 2 experiences were much the same.
Don’t expect to hear back
Very bad response and slow delivery. If I did not contact them to check the status of my order I would be waiting for my order for mor them 15 business day. The excuse: covid but when you buy says that it will be delivered in 3 business day for great Sydney. To be honest when we buy something we just want to be updated and not to call them to be updated. They have good price but to wait for more than 15 days for a cabin filter is not worthy.

This is my first dealing with SparesBox. I will definitely return. The identical item from local SuperCheap was 3 times the final delivered price from SparesBox and had to be ordered in. No reply from emails and no item received
Ordered and paid for item that said it was in stock , item has still not been received after 2weeks and they do not reply to emails. As far as I can tell these guys just take your money and run. If you take my advise steer well clear and go with a reliable supplier that does not take your money and give you nothing.
Fantastic. Well priced, efficient shipping. And got lucky with a % off sale. Delivery driver helped out and left it in a very convenient place despite the package being very heavy.
Not worth your stress or money wasted
Bought battery charger which stated was in stock. Two weeks pass, tried to contact them to no avail. Eventually got a reply via chat and they blamed COVID-19 as their stock inventory was wrong and they didn't have stock. Not sure how COVID-19 can play games on an inventory system. So they said wait another week, I did, however had to chase them up again and just ask for a refund. Unprofessional staff whom blame a pandemic, which impacts genuine people with genuine concerns, for their unprofessional short comings. They in truth don't hold stock but drop ship.
Don't waste your time
Don't waste your time, they'll show items in stock, you'll buy it, wait a few weeks to be told it's out of stock and they can't back order
Buy from anywhere else. So slow.Don’t actually respond to questions.They don’t deserve to be in business.

Lies Lies And More Lies
April 4th paid for a item which they stated was in stock. July 15 and still no item. 6 emails of lies and excuses and they tell me part won’t be available till September . My car was off the road for 3 months and I wish I had checked reviews on this false advertising company. Do you self a favour and learn from my mistakes and never trust Sparesbox.

I decided to order parts from sparesbox after seeing that they had a 20% off sale. Selected all my items and paid. 4 days later I got a reply stating one of the parts are out of stock and will not be in for another 2 weeks. After emailing to ask why was the part not listed as out of stock, they replied saying that they are partnered with their suppliers to show what is available across australia. So in stock doesn't really mean in stock. Be aware.

Pleasant dealing with staff and happy with company but not happy at all with useless courier company. Will not be using this courier again.

As mentioned numerous times below - AVOID unless you're happy to be messed around and fobbed off with crap excuses. Ordered brake rotors beginning of March, after payment was taken advised 16-32 day wait for dispatch, heard nothing so chased up Sparesbox for an update, told me that due to the "Global Crisis" there was a further delay and ETA of 23rd April, no update followed up with Sparesbox again on 26th April, advised a further delay and ETA now 10-14th May. Thing is, I contacted DBA to see why there was such a hold up with their brakes as o...ther online suppliers were quoting 7-10 days as special order. DBA confirmed 7-10 days turnaround and they had the raw material in stock. Sparesbox refused to answer my question when I directly asked if they had even placed the order with DBA, just got the template "Global Crisis" excuse. Chased Sparesbox again on 18th May and was advised they will be dispatched from the warehouse within 1 business day. Well.... Guess what, 25th May today and no update, emailed them again and was told my order has experienced an unexpected delay Global Crisis to blame again. I then called DBA again to ask if Sparesbox actually deal directly with them as this all seemed like too much crap, they apparently do. Again confirmed that the necessary blanks were in stock and can be made to order. Went back to Sparesbox who basically said they cannot provide an ETA as they dont know what will be shipped from DBA and offered the option to wait or a refund. I have reluctantly chosen to wait as DBA confirmed that the rotors I ordered were to be on a shipment to Sparesbox today - I order with Sparesbox in March, they order from DBA in May. UPDATE - received email from Sparesbox 26th May stating that due to "current global crisis", my parts will be dispatched on or before 30th June. I cancelled my order with Sparesbox and did get a refund. I ordered the same DBA rotors from Automotive Superstore on 17th June (as they had a discount), arrived at my local store fr collection today 25th June - 6 business days, not the 4 months of being lied to by Sparesbox.
Best for online parts
Easy to find parts and order online. The delivery is super quick and you can track the item. Definitely coming back for more!
