Trialed hearing aids at 2 hearing centres, they were OK and did the job but I felt I owed it to myself to try Specsavers. As a comparison the ones I was going to buy were middle of the range and priced between $3700 - $4100 a pair in the hearing centres. Specsavers were priced at $2500, the only issue was that I had to pay upfront, there was no free trial. Although they do offer a full refund in 90 days if you are not happy. I decided to go to the next level up at $2995 - still way under my original quotes.

Katie, the Manager at Penrith has poor customer service skills
Cancelled my orders of two sets of contact lenses for my daughter and I as Katie, the Manager at the Penrith store, could not offer me a ‘teach’ appointment this week - they said the next one is not for another 8 days. When I said I can’t wait that long (and before I finished my sentence to ask to be called when there’s a cancellation) she abruptly left me at the desk straight to the storeroom(hope there was a cctv camera to show this).
No one answers the phone
Received letter that eyetest was overdue so I called 3 times to receive automated message “we will be with you shortly” had to listen to the boring adds each time then I gave up 10-20 mins later each time, why send letter when you don’t answer the phone call for booking! Can’t complain about customer device as there is none!!! DONT SEND LETTERS TO ASK US TO BOOK IF YOU DONT HAVE THE STAFF TO ANSWER THE PHONE! I’m going to OPSM now
Not great- multiple eye appointments & glasses that give me a headache
Went to the Cloisters store to get new glasses. After my eye test, I received my glasses a few weeks later. Did not feel right. Took my other 2 glasses (not from Spec Savers) in to compare. Had another eye test & glasses taken away to get fixed. Told my eyes had changed (despite my other glasses being OK) and the new glasses did not need to be changed. So now I have a pair from Spec Savers I do not wear. Never again
Hi, while I was extremely happy with the service & product from Specsavers Burnie, I was disappointed to see an add on the TV of 50% discount posted only days after I ordered & payed for products.
Next time I will shop around rather that go direct to specsavers as I believe they should have advised me of the up comming sales promotion

Julley & Luke looked after me today at Riverton Specsavers. They were both VERY patient while I took forever to choose my new glasses. Very efficient & professional. Lots of styles to choose from & the staff are happy to help. Would definately recommend this specsavers

Pushy sales strategy!
Having some spare time, I was checking out glasses at the Springfield Qld store. Service lady was straight onto me, very nice, very efficient and had me booked in for an eye test in no time. Thinking this was great, I had a little more time to peruse their fairly uninspiring collection when another sales lady tried to do the exact same process as the first. I had to repeatedly tell her that the other lady did this... Went for my eye test, satisfied with that part I asked for a print of my prescription and before I even leave the booth there's y...et another lady who sits me down and starts explaining why I need to upgrade to a better level of multi-focals than the standard which apparently isn't very good. Seriously, I felt like a cow at the meat works. I was not happy with the service and it's not an experience I'll be tolerating again.
It is a Disaster with my glasses
I bought a pair of High end glasses as per their ratings by paying $399 for a pair. It wasn't even 3months passed by. This morning one arm of the glasses came off. I cant find the screw. it is impossible to see a screw without the glasses as it fts into a tiny hole.
Imagine having a low end pair of glasses. I am very disappointed with this product.
do not use them - deceiving advertising
all discounts and specials come with so many conditions attached which in the end, a pair of glasses was going to cost me $500, as they were forcing me to get premium lenses instead of standard if I also wanted thinner lenses. All their marketing does not tell you upfront and transparently what the plethora of conditions they improse. I wasted my time with these people, I will never come back. Do not recommend

Went in for eye test the guy chose the frames for me meaning I ultimately did not get to choose my own frames. He also told me how I should wear the glasses like pushed right up against my eyes that the lens were touching the tip of my eyelashes. I told him that this did not feel comfortable for me but it fell on deaf ears. Glasses come back and I couldn't even leave them on because they made me feel dizzy. I sat in the store for an hour listening to them go on about why I shouldn't choose bifocals over multifocals. Mind you I never wanted mult...ifocals only bifocals. I paid almost $500 for these glasses and they did not care one iota that I was not satisfied with them. Eventually I felt defeated (as they just refused to listen) and I agreed to take them home for a month. I was even in tears at one point in the store. Once home one arm was tight on the frame and the other more loose so they are always tilted. Whenever I wear them to read I have to push them up the over the bridge of my nose and actually hold my glasses there until I finish reading and when I want distance I have to bring them back down to sit on the middle of my nose. I am furious with Specsavers and will never purchase from them ever again.
I bought 2 pairs of multifocal glasses for $900! Got pressured into buying them and to to cut the story short, one pair is so cheaply made that the lense has fallen out. I’ve emailed customer service twice and no reply. It’s been 2 weeks now!! My last report will be fair trading??!!???
Specsavers - Broadmeadows Store. Customer Beware!
I went to Specsavers Broadmeadows store. This store does not deserved even a 1 star rating for being harassed as a customer by their female sales staff in daylight and the misconduct behaviour seems to be encouraged by the owner because they do not understand how to provide even a basic customer service.
The Optometrist including their staff members have exhibited a consistent poor service and poor recording system. When I went to this store to book for an eye check only, I was forced to also do a hearing check which I find it very offensive. ...

I’m surprised that when I went into spec savers to have a broken arm on my glasses repaired they couldn’t offer the original arm but a non matching one. Surely this a spare part that should be easily obtainable
The thread attaching one arm of my glasses has already worn away after only 5 months, can I get replacement frames?
