Spinifex Escape

The tent pops up in seconds just as advertised. Then you only need to peg it down and you're done. It provides good space for two with baggage or three without. Putting it back in the bag is more difficult, especially the first times you try. But after a couple of times we got quite good at it. Quality is good, especially for such a good price. But is has a major problem: lack of ventilation. It only has one small vent opposite the flap. It's a single skin tent and it gets wet with condensation quickly. And unlike with other tents the flap doesn't even have a mesh, so if you open it for ventilation the bugs can come in. Another thing to consider with this type of pop up tents is that you need to peg it to the ground, otherwise it doesn't stand properly. So skipping a peg because the ground is rocky doesn't work. We did one trip with it but we shan't do another.
