Returned. Poor Quality
I bought two of these. One had a manufacturing fault that couldn't be adjusted or fixed. The right side of the chair was lower than the left! The backrest was also skewed in a funny way. Not exactly ergonomic and not what to expect of a relatively expensive chair! Steelcase was helpful but ultimately they couldn't give me any indication of when a replacement could be provided. Given they were bought as a set, I returned both. Suggest to look at the quality carefully on delivery - if it looks lop-sided - measure it as it probably is! Otherwise, ...the Steelcase Leap is an OK office chair - looks nice, comfortable enough, no squeaks, and a good range of adjustments. Could probably do with a bit more padding in the seat - as could a lot of new chairs these days.
Purchased in June 2021.
Questions & Answers
Is there any bigger people that have tried out the standard steelcase leap v2 ? I'm 5'8 120kg, just wondering if it's an option for somebody my size, or maybe the gesture ? The price quoted on the plus was 3.5 grand; so i'm not too keen on that idea.
I'm around 72kg and the stand chair barely has enough padding for me.
