Never use Stegbar again
Absolutely hopeless from start to finish ended up having to get a seperate guy in to fix their dodgy work
On 4 occasions when Stegbar were meant to turn up on site they did no shows and on the fifth go did such a bad job I had to get my builder in to fix the track on a wardrobe
I started the discussion with Stegbar in May 2021 about my order and I was told that it takes maximum 12 weeks to complete the job which is around the end of August or early September. Based on his word I took the measurements sent to Stegbar, a person came to my place, took the exact measurement, paid the deposit, and finalised everything at end of June. Doing all those things I receive a date in November which is 19 weeks after my confirmation. I sent them an email, but since there is no reply I called the office. The lady answered the phone ...talked to me so badly which was not the way to talk to their customers. I can understand there is a two weeks lockdown and it may be affected the business. But I can’t believe it takes nearly 4-5 months for the installation of simple 3 glass doors. Even a single-story house can be built within 6-8months. Hope to write another review later. Seeing this someone in higher management please consider to give us a near date.

So here we are a month later, following numerous calls and emails, still waiting for Rep Brian, or someone else to come out, if Brian is still sick. Matt can you help? Someone should be following up these quote requests. Maybe you need more sraff Stegbar.

Avoid this company ! Initial processes began in December 2020. It’s now the 30th April. Still now windows installed. A comedy of errors from measurement to the install date today, nothing funny about it though. Windows can’t go in this morning because they have been made completely incorrect. 35mm to 50 mm out. Installer is furious. They’ve had my money for months now. Customer service is disgraceful and they should be ashamed of themselves. No one takes responsibility. So many emails and phone calls I have made. I’m distraught and upset. Time taken off work to be home for the install. Stegbar Windows Rowville your lack of support and customer service is deplorable. Still waiting on a phone call. Avoid this company

STOP. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
* Installer ripped off an architrave to a window we didn't want removed.
* There was a measurement error on the kitchen sliding door.
* Once installed, the wire mesh door that was fitted did not open and shut smoothly.
* The job was still not completed months after it was supposed to be finished. We needed to continually contact them to move the project along.
* The installers said they'd cover the furniture and carpet so everything wouldn't get covered in dust, saw dust and grime. They did not do this, so everything was covered in dust and g...
Very ordinary service and appalling quality
Just had a new back door and new bifolds installed. The back door was to have a security screen door as well so the breeze could come through. Two relatively minor issues but indicative of slack of pride and care, one extremely disappointing deal-breaker quality and service issue.
1. Security screen door was manufactured to the wrong size despite two visits so couldn’t be installed, a further six week wait.

Don't expect after sales service
A roller has failed on an external sliding door. On visiting to Stegbar Rowville my wife was told the door must have been supplied by another company. My builder verified that this was not the case. When I visited I was told we don't have them so here is a list of hardware suppliers. My suggestion that this is not an adequate way of dealing with a customer and perhaps Stegbar's systems need to be reviewed was dismissed. Fortunately my builder, a major and long established home renovation company, no longer uses Stegbar.
Poor Customer Service
Four years ago I replaced all the windows and doors in my house to Stegbar and all are keyed alike. I have been very happy with all they provided but now (four years later) my front door (a Stegbar Statesman pivot door) keeps dropping and needing manual adjustment. I am not an expert at this and have been trying to get someone from Stegbar to help me with this issue. They have advised me that it may be due to movement of my house. I understand this and am not looking for anything under warranty. I am very happy to pay whatever is needed to get my front door serviced or adjusted. Stegbar have point blank refused to help me. There customer service has been very poor. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Windows replaced in two room $5k+. Have had 3 calls backs so far and these pictured issues are still outstanding. The Installation & Service Manager tells me adding extra timber as pictured is acceptable. Not my definition of custom made.

Got 3 double glazed windows.
So marks on the new windows from the delivery drivers. Installation guy was good but to much silicone around the windows. They somehow forgot to put the vent locks in. Seal of some of the windows no done correctly so they will have to redo it. Don’t recommend this product now.
Service come down to put vent locks in now the water drains from the top to the bottom onto the carpet because of the vent lock holes they drilled in. Plus they keep texting me about other jobs. Communication has been terrible Not happy wit...
Terrible customer service
I went to look at some windows today and was served by [Name Removed]. Her manner was abrupt, robot like and impatient. Being factual is fine but shooting questions in a hurried and curt manner is not the way to making a sale. I won’t be buying here.
Self shattered glass panel
One of the recent installed staker door fixed glass panel was suddenly shattered by itself today ( New Year Day). Broken glass are everywhere. The stegbar office is closed for holiday until next Monday. It is not safe but nowhere could get a quick fix.
Terrible customer service
I ordered a single door to extend on the cupboards that was installed by stegbar in the past. Upon requesting and ordering though stegbar, I was quoted $330 for one routed door panel (excessively priced compared to others). I ordered the door considering it was required to complete the extension. Once the door was ready, I requested a delivery to local inner Melbourne. I was quoted $200 for delivery. Again I was shocked. I was advised that I was originally quoted for $100 delivery. In which when I supplied the email to prove the delivery fee qu...oted. The customer service lady advised she would match. However could not deliver before 8 days (8th October). I was on the phone with them on the 1st October. I then told the lady that I will organise my own delivery, in which Toll would deliver for $40.00 which was great. After organising my own delivery, I called back and spoke to [name removed] to advise that pick up would be occurring. I advised that Toll requested the door be wrapped or covered for protection. In which I was advised by [name removed] that they can wrap it in cardboard. I called back to advise that Toll were on their way and that they have requested someone fill in the manual consignment with a reference number and delivery address. I had earlier provided this to [name removed] via email. [name removed] transferred me to [name removed] who then advised me that they cannot do this and that I need to fill in the paper work as I am the customer. To my disbelief, I was dumbfounded as why she couldnt complete the paper with the address given. She kept refusing this request and telling me that Toll need to send me the consignment and that I need to complete it and email it to her. I then said to her that Toll cannot do this as it is a manual process and that the paperwork is with the driver. Again, she refused this. I told [name removed] that she is being extremely difficult, and I cannot believe that after waiting over 1 month for a simple routed door, I was then quoted $200 for delivery, which was reduced to $100 and then I needed to wait a further 8 days. I expressed the anxiety she is creating. I then said to her, could she send me a picture of the consignment given by the driver when he arrives, and that I can complete it and send it back. She refused again. I then said to her that she is being really difficult and that I cannot believe the service I am receiving. She was adamant in her position. I then told her that I am happy to send something in writing that removes any liability and that I have provided them the delivery address in writing and all she needed to do was transcribe it. She again said no. Finally after begging her on the phone (i cannot believe I was begging), she finally agreed and said she will only put down the delivery address, and if she needed to complete anything else she wont. Nor will she sign anything. I said that is fine. I hung up in absolute disbelief. I could not believe I was put through something like this and made to feel so terrible. I then received the item the following morning at 9.30am. The door was not wrapped. Was stained with food marks, and the edging of the MDF damaged along with other chips. I am completely appalled. How could a company operated like this?
