With the exception of Brooke Hill in the Rowville office who is fantastic!Read more them through straight away, again no response. He was no help. We were put in contact with Brooke Hill after this who was very knowledgeable and even sent us data in relation to the specs for the type of glass we wanted. She knew her stuff, her customer service was fantastic and she was a pleasure to deal with. Once we had placed our order and were assigned a new person to take over the logistics the problems began again.
We ordered 2 Siteline windows (timber inside and aluminium on the outside). We were told we were going to be charged a $300 admin fee to change the colour of the hardware even though we hadn't agreed on it. After many emails/calls back and forth this fee was dropped. The windows were delivered on a Friday without confirming with us. They were left unwrapped timber side up and had been dragged across the ground (which damaged the timber on the bottom. It rained all weekend. When the installer came to install on the Monday morning, the frames were sent back due to water damage/staining. Three weeks later the same windows with the same damage were delivered again, unwrapped. I sent them back a second time. Two days later they were returned, simply sanded back where the damage and water marks were. The windows have now been installed. The window installer (contractor), Andy, was also brilliant and did a great job at installing the windows.
Stegbar obviously have zero customer service or Quality control (excluding Brooker Hill). Some basic QA, education and ethics and this company could be great. The quality of the product would have been great if they weren't damaged in transit.
Thanks again to the help and expertise (and customer service) of Brooke Hill. She was the only person we would deal with at Stegbar. Very professional! My ratings do not relate to Brooke.
We knew what we wanted. When the sales person from Stegbar came out we told him exactly what we wanted. When I asked for a quote for their composite product he had no idea what I was talking about and had to show him their Siteline range on line. He still ended up quoting us for something completely different than what we asked for. We called and emailed him three times asking for a new quote. The first time, no response, the second and third times, he said he would send...
