A solution to a problem mirror was offered by Andrew and Steven and the work was carried out promptly and efficiently.
Professional attitude and knowledgeable about the product and workmanship. Unfortunately the first mirror put in by another workman had a flaw that could not be rectified other than full replacement. It is disappointing that the mirror was put in place as it created a complicated situation for finding a solution to inserting another mirror.
I’m not going to lie that my experience with replacing my windows with Stegbar was a seamless one. However, with that said when things went wrong they did acknowledge this and rectified the issue swiftly.
My job still hasn’t yet been completed however so I will post a final review once this has been done. But based on what I have seen thus far, I can say that Andrew, the installer is absolutely a professional in every way from customer service to excellent craftsmanship.

Andrew and Steve installed glass splashback. Very friendly, arrived on time and even pstiatly waited/helped remove range hood that prevented glass going in.Jake was sales rep and always pleasure to deal with. Only glitch was several of false starts with install dates for shower screen, but a sign of busy times for Stegbar I suspect.

One of the recent installed staker door fixed glass panel was suddenly shattered by itself today ( New Year Day). Broken glass are everywhere. The stegbar office is closed for holiday until next Monday. It is not safe but nowhere could get a quick fix.

Doors were delivered on a Friday unprimed. Spoke to Rep and it was a mistake as they do not normally prime siteline doors. Read morehey would bring up more trims to finish the job on Tuesday. They installed a damaged touched up door. Tuesday we pointed out that the trims that were installed had blobs of paint on the back that can be viewed from the exterior through the glass to the installers. Without notice they had bought pink/ rough/ bubbly primed trim and wanted to replace the lot. We pointed out that wouldn't work as the pink would be viewed from the exterior and we couldn't paint them once installed on the back side anyway. Showed them the damaged door. Stegbar said they would have to order a new door. Left with half cut trims holding in the glass, overpainted trims and paint on the aluminium and seals. New door delivered yesterday with blobs and over brushed primer on the back of the trim no one turned up to finish the job even though I spoke to Stegbar before they closed today at 12pm and was told they would be there around lunch time, even though they were having troubles with an install in Malvern, and would paint the trims in situ. Waited all day. Rep not answering my texts no phone call from the installers and office is closed. Hosting Christmas and boxing day and now have to host it around a door sitting on the deck as we've decided it's too heavy to move and don't want to be blamed for any potential preexisting damage that we can't view yet! Major issue was that Stegbar forgot to put a rivet into the door for the fly screen to lock and stop it from sliding further on - rendering it useless while I wait for a fix. I thought it wouldnt be a problem and they would be able to send someone out to fix it. Unfortunately the earliest they can do it is January. I ordered a single door to extend on the cupboards that was installed by stegbar in the past. Upon requesting and ordering though stegbar, I was quoted $330 for one routed door panel (excessively priced compared to others). I ordered the door considering it was required to complete the extension. Once the door was ready, I requested a delivery to local inner Melbourne. I was quoted $200 for delivery. Read moreoted. The customer service lady advised she would match. However could not deliver before 8 days (8th October). I was on the phone with them on the 1st October. I then told the lady that I will organise my own delivery, in which Toll would deliver for $40.00 which was great. After organising my own delivery, I called back and spoke to [name removed] to advise that pick up would be occurring. I advised that Toll requested the door be wrapped or covered for protection. In which I was advised by [name removed] that they can wrap it in cardboard. I called back to advise that Toll were on their way and that they have requested someone fill in the manual consignment with a reference number and delivery address. I had earlier provided this to [name removed] via email. [name removed] transferred me to [name removed] who then advised me that they cannot do this and that I need to fill in the paper work as I am the customer. To my disbelief, I was dumbfounded as why she couldnt complete the paper with the address given. She kept refusing this request and telling me that Toll need to send me the consignment and that I need to complete it and email it to her. I then said to her that Toll cannot do this as it is a manual process and that the paperwork is with the driver. Again, she refused this. I told [name removed] that she is being extremely difficult, and I cannot believe that after waiting over 1 month for a simple routed door, I was then quoted $200 for delivery, which was reduced to $100 and then I needed to wait a further 8 days. I expressed the anxiety she is creating. I then said to her, could she send me a picture of the consignment given by the driver when he arrives, and that I can complete it and send it back. She refused again. I then said to her that she is being really difficult and that I cannot believe the service I am receiving. She was adamant in her position. I then told her that I am happy to send something in writing that removes any liability and that I have provided them the delivery address in writing and all she needed to do was transcribe it. She again said no. Finally after begging her on the phone (i cannot believe I was begging), she finally agreed and said she will only put down the delivery address, and if she needed to complete anything else she wont. Nor will she sign anything. I said that is fine. I hung up in absolute disbelief. I could not believe I was put through something like this and made to feel so terrible. I then received the item the following morning at 9.30am. The door was not wrapped. Was stained with food marks, and the edging of the MDF damaged along with other chips. I am completely appalled. Negatives: I engaged Stegbar to install the Alfresco bifold doors. The initial sales engagement was good. However, after that there were series of delays and lack of proper process. I was promised that the doors will be installed in 6-8 weeks, but it has taken them more than 9-10 weeks (still not installed). The contractor who came to do measurements did not provide the information till first 3-4 weeks, which i thought was a waste of time, and can be fixed if they have solid processes in place. This could have been better communicated in advance and added to the frustation. Positive: I raised an escalation with the team. DJ called me to resolve the matter. I was really impressed with the way he handled the matter and resolved it within 24hrs which was really impressive. He ensured that the feedback has been taken into consideration and he is going to work with the team to improve the processes. Overall: I started with a bad experience, but the team showed that they care which is very important for any customer experience. Thanks Alexis. I received a call from DJ and the matter has been resolved within 24hours. He ensured that he is trying to rectify the process from his end. I really enjoyed dealing with him.
I got the product I requested. A fixed frosted aluminium window to match existing window where the unit was removed from. No more to add not like being asked to say more than I want to.

I find it convenient that Leigh can provide either a quote or estimate over the net. The ability to customise onsite is also helpful when working around heating ducts etc. Thanks Stegbar team.
I have used Stegbar for the last 8 years & found them always helpful & prompt. Leigh Hamilton & Leanne Marshall at Rowville wardrobes and shower screens help been fantastic to deal with.
Stegbar sent Harry out within a day to measure up and offer advice. I then went to the Rowville showroom to have a look and placed my order. I found it to be an easy process so far.

Have been trying for nearly 10 days now just to get a quote. Excuses are endless... email not working properly etc. Today I was told that they'd been 'run off their feet' dealing with customers in the showroom (where they are surprisingly helpful). I'm only sorry I already have some Stegbar windows and need the new ones to match. Would not recommend Stegbar to others.
The windows are good quality if you can ever get them
Customer service is non-existent, and their reps are quite rude over the phone.

Tried to get a quote and the customer service person didn't allow enough time so i got a call at 10pm the night before saying they couldn't make it because there wasn't enough time. I then had to wait 8 days to be able to get them to come back.
I decided to go with Stegbar because they had the door finish I wanted. Again I received a call the day before installation saying that they need to reschedule for next week. I have taken time off for this installation and organised other contractors to work around this installation. Very disappoi...

Read moreit wrong, they've sent new measurements and yes, once again it's incorrect, this is delaying our build significantly i wish we never used them.The wardrobes have only been in for just over a year and they are already coming away from the wall. I have also noticed nails poking through through the backing board that I see before. Please save yourself the grief and choose someone else.
