Great customer service and problem solving
I placed an order for aircraft office windows with your former sales person at Ballarat.
I followed up to see where my order was at and found that former employee had not completed my order.
Steve at Ballarat immediately followed up on my order and later called me back.
He resolved my issue.
I cannot speak more highly of Steve’s handling of the unresolved order.
This is a great job as an installer
My review towards Stegbar is they try to do there best in all departments and always aim to improve there safety rules,, I believe that they always put there employees first and try to improve all areas
Great service and product
Steve Guymur was great with helping us understand the requirements for two new shower screens and a mirror. He has in-depth knowledge of the Stegbar products and has many handy tips to save time and money.
Delay and then a huge price hike without notification
I was in the final quote phase having spoken to the sales rep as Ok and just wanted to view the windows and doors, and asked for an addition of flyscreens to the quote prior to signing the contract. Then Covid lockdowns hit overnight and I couldn't attend a showroom, and despite consistent calls and follow ups on my end, I politely honoured requests from Stegbar to understand and be patient that offices and showrooms were closed. I was soon to realise they will definitely be Ok as costs will get passed onto customers who are backed into a ...corner. When they then replied after many weeks, my quote was increased by thousands without notification. They advised prices went up. No reciprocal understanding to honour quotes due to delays on their end, just to gouge customers, under deadline pressure. I didn't proceed, so it was a huge cost for me now starting again to contact other supplies, and now with delay costs. My builder and others advised against Stegbar, but I believed the 75 years brand marketing. Don't, listen to the word of mouth instead.
I had problems on removing fly screens - contact with Robert Mitchell/Kotara was first class as fitting clips that had broken were replaced (Large Clips) along with Fitting Instruction 129 - This allowed me to successfully remove/replace the screens. As a lay "Octogenarian" it was good to do this, however I wonder if a more "user friendly" design would allow speedier removal/refitting for "lay persons"/???? One point I suggest that the Large Clips could be better designed as my experience with Plastics they can become more brittle with age/heat etc. I replaced 10 of these clips on 6 windows - no problems with Small Clips.

Excellent experience. Very helpful and polite. Changes to original order were made quickly and without any problems. Communication was good with any changes confirmed by email. Good quality product at a competitive price.
Amazing custom mirror installation
Got a custom made mirror to suit my new bathroom.
Stegbar measured my tap cutouts and got them millimeter perfect.
The installers Andrew & Scott were terrific, they removed their shoes to enter my house and they were very careful and precise on the installation.
Great experience all around and price was on the cheaper side from what i would’ve expected for a big name company.
Sales person Daniel extremely friendly helpful and informative Happy to deal with him.
Because of Daniel I decided to opt for stegbar

I started the discussion with Stegbar in May 2021 about my order and I was told that it takes maximum 12 weeks to complete the job which is around the end of August or early September. Based on his word I took the measurements sent to Stegbar, a person came to my place, took the exact measurement, paid the deposit, and finalised everything at end of June. Doing all those things I receive a date in November which is 19 weeks after my confirmation. I sent them an email, but since there is no reply I called the office. The lady answered the phone ...talked to me so badly which was not the way to talk to their customers. I can understand there is a two weeks lockdown and it may be affected the business. But I can’t believe it takes nearly 4-5 months for the installation of simple 3 glass doors. Even a single-story house can be built within 6-8months. Hope to write another review later. Seeing this someone in higher management please consider to give us a near date.

What failure frequency are people getting from Stegbar double glazed (IGU) windows & doors?
I've had roughly 50% of the glass fail (condensation between the panes) & replaced so far in a 6 year old house?
Have two sliding doors on top level of home and every time we have a severe storm, water seeps through to the ceiling on lower level causing damaged to ceiling & furniture. Have checked all weep holes & tracks. All are ok. Have had trade people in to see what the problem is but again no answer. I have siliconed all around the doors including floor but again same problem.The doors are Stegbar about 8 years old.
Do you have a maintenance team that can rectify hard to open & close sliding doors, it was a new build we moved into Christmas 2 yrs ago. I live in Penrith nsw. Thank you
