Unprofessional & disappointing
Had a front door frame suite installed in November 20’ still waiting for resolution. Doors supplied were visibly faulty and unfit for purpose.
Poor customer service
Poor communication between the office, the sales team, installer and customer. Was wanting wardrobes but was incorrectly handed to the window team who took more than two weeks and a number of follow up calls from me to get them to call. They then said it was the wrong team and they'd get the wardrobe team to call but never received a received a call. I persisted and eventually someone came out to discuss the order. I put my order in and then I had to constantly chase them up and promised return calls never happened. Very slow. The wardrobes wer...en't made correctly and then I had to wait a couple of weeks for them to be fixed. The office made no contact during this time. It was always me chasing them up. The installation guy was great and communicated really well. Interestingly, as soon as the job was finished a got a call at 8am the next morning requesting the balance of payment.

Poor service. Extremely slow to provide quotes if at all. Do not return calls or emails. Did not provide any information with regards to product selection. The windows were supplied with the wrong finish but are of acceptable quality however I could not recommend ordering through the fortitude valley outlet.
Poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Waited over a month for fitout, with minimal communication after being promised install within 10 days. Errors all round from admin to quote and draw up. Saving grace was the subie who completed the job. Would not recommend at all.
Beware of Stegbar double glazed windows!
My home was completed at the end of 2013 and had Stegbar double glazed windows and doors throughout. I contacted Stegbar Geelong within a few years of home completion to point out that moisture was between the double panes of glass in one of the windows.
I was told that they were no longer covered by any warranty. I pointed out that any reasonable person would expect the windows to present as they did on building completion for many, many years. Since then, an increasing number of windows now contain moisture and, in the case of the window in the photograph, there is, not only moisture, scum as well.
Good product, terrible service!
We had our sliding door and windows installed in July, but Stegbar forgot to bring the bottom panels of glass on the install day, as they didnt coordinate it. We waited 2 weeks with only plastic on the windows for them to finish. We had issues with the door and few windows being incorrectly built which was repaired a month after final install and now 4 months later we are still waiting for a service call to fix 5 of the 10 windows as they are not running smoothly. Javier is a nice guy but getting in contact with him pre-sale was difficult, I ha...d to chase up constantly through the office for him to call me back and now that its been fully paid and installed its even harder to get them to finish the service. The thicker glass is not worth the money but we are happy with the quality of the alumiere range, we would just be happier if it ran smoothly and we were not still waiting for a repair. Overall, I would not choose to deal with Stegbar again.
Quality Product (Alumiere) but poor service, inexperienced and sales people
1. Requested a dog door to be installed in a hinged door that had already been ordered. Emailed to confirm the request. Followed up with sales person and she claimed she never received the email. Sent a screen shot of her inbox ... Then tried to charge 4 times the price for late inclusion.
2. Ordered x2 stacker sliding doors. Reviewed the order and it seemed that only 1 door was noted. Sent x2 requests to include the other door. Received the amended order and signed assuming the amendment was made. Delivery occurred with only 1 stacke...r door 3 weeks from occupation of renovation. 3. Sent section detail of Alumiere product. Sales person claimed it wasn't a Stegbar product. She had no experience with installation details. Recommendation - Use Rylock in SA or another company with experienced, responsible and ethical sales people.
Expensive, poorly designed and rude repair saleswoman
We ordered $30k worth of windows.
Unlike the ones that were in our house dating from the 1930s, the Stegbar double-hung windows can't be locked open. The flyscreens attachments are flimsy so the flyscreens fall off and break.
The staff in the stores are nice, as was the repairer, but the repair service lady repeatedly started her emails to me by "hey" even though I made it clear that I did not like this. I let her know this, and as a result, she was reluctant to send a repair guy to fix my windows "because I knew that you would not pay for the repairs" Excuse Me???????!!!!!!
Poor Customer service
Thank-you to Harry for helping me decide what I needed to make my wardrobe more efficient. Victor did a great job fitting the necessary shelving .
I am disappointed with the lack of communication and constant confusion from office staff from beginning to end.

No Customer Service & No quality control - Damaged Windows
With the exception of Brooke Hill in the Rowville office who is fantastic!
We knew what we wanted. When the sales person from Stegbar came out we told him exactly what we wanted. When I asked for a quote for their composite product he had no idea what I was talking about and had to show him their Siteline range on line. He still ended up quoting us for something completely different than what we asked for. We called and emailed him three times asking for a new quote. The first time, no response, the second and third times, he said he would send...
No Contact Been Weeks
Jane Who, 2 weeks no call she must be busy......
I contacted Stegbar Chatswood who told me Jane will be in touch with me, my information details were passed through to her, I waited a week no call return call back, Tim wanted to sort me out with what I needed but I wanted to give Jane the chance to sort my project as she was the one that was to help me cause my info was passed to her through the internal system.

Wish I had read the reviews before using them!
Purchased $12,000 of doors in December 2018 and delivered and installed in January. Still waiting (23/5/2019) for them to come back for a 4th time to replace faulty parts on one of the doors. When the doors were delivered there were parts missing, door locks not working and runners not working. Especially ordered black runners to go with our new renovations and 3 days after installation the black came off. Told by the salesman "that will happen". Very, very frustrating. Once they have your money if there's a problem, such as a new door re...placement you go back on the end of the production line behind all the new orders to wait for the replacement. And if you live in the "rural" (50km from Adelaide) you wait even longer. Be warned and be aware.

STEGBAR Adelaide was contracted by our builder REGENT to finish our new installation in October 2016.
STEGBAR installation and on site repair work has been proven to be serviceable over time.
I upgraded to 2 stars and no more because the whole carry on should not have happened at all! Neither of the players deserve good marks for their poor service. It took 22 months to get resolved!

Great customer service until the order is wrong
As soon as I walked into Stegbar I received amazing service from [name removed]. He was very welcoming and talked me through the entire range. Once I ordered the stacker door, [name removed] was very lovely and instantly giving me any information i needed. Once my builder installed the stacker doors, I discovered that the order was incorrect. I contacted [name removed] through three different forms and waited a few days with no response. I called back and finally he answered and said I would get a new door in two weeks. I asked for an email con...firmation and he said he would. Two weeks later and I have not heard from him about the replacement door that is what I originally ordered. I have contacted again today twice and left a message and sent an email, and still no response. I can’t believe that this is meant to be a professional business! If you get your order wrong, you should be immediately responding to your customer. I will update this review as I get a response as I am not a happy customer.
Poor Quality, Bad Communication, No Customer Service after Payment
We had a built in wardrobe installed last week. The job looks ok from the outside except that the sides are an off white and the pelmet up the top (which was not even suppose to be there) is crisp white, so it is very obvious they don't match. The salesman said we should have 2 handing racks and if we didn't need the second one to take it out. He didn't mention that this would mean the top shelf is so narrow it is useless. They have installed cheap spacing boards all through the inside of the cupboard which look terrible. The hanging racks...are split into four sections with more cheap spacing boards used. The back of the shelves are the wall and no base board was placed over the carpet (which we would have had replaced before install, if it was being left as it was). Phoned Stegbar and could only get through the the salesman who just gave the big sales pitch and did not address the issues.

What failure frequency are people getting from Stegbar double glazed (IGU) windows & doors?
I've had roughly 50% of the glass fail (condensation between the panes) & replaced so far in a 6 year old house?
Have two sliding doors on top level of home and every time we have a severe storm, water seeps through to the ceiling on lower level causing damaged to ceiling & furniture. Have checked all weep holes & tracks. All are ok. Have had trade people in to see what the problem is but again no answer. I have siliconed all around the doors including floor but again same problem.The doors are Stegbar about 8 years old.
Do you have a maintenance team that can rectify hard to open & close sliding doors, it was a new build we moved into Christmas 2 yrs ago. I live in Penrith nsw. Thank you
