Not even slightly worth the hype or price
1. they're pieces of crap that are somehow being sold for $30
2. the whole, "anti ride up" is crap. they ride up.
3. wore them once and the seams around the little "cut before washing' tag just started to unravel. like as if they did even give enough of a crap to backstitch when they were sewing them.
4. The 'First Fit Guarantee isn't as great as they advertise it to be. first of all, you only get one chance to try out another size/style (which I mean I get because it's not like shipping is actually free) but its not just a matter of filling ou...
OK But needs to state for thick legs
Easy to find items and order, tho the range is rather small for choice of colours, the item is ok reduces sweat but always rides up and needs adjustment so not as good as they state
But they continue ride up your leg when sitting
Think twice before buying a waste of $220 cheers
Not a true fit
Not what I expected. I used their size guide but it was not right for me plus the leg length does ride up

- Bamboo Trunk (Shorter)
Cannot Recommend - Expensive & Uncomfortable
After reading numerous positive reviews of this product, I recently purchased a pair of Step-One trunks in 'Juicy Plums' colour. (Order #515301) I was initially impressed by Step-One's site and their claims about the bamboo material the they were made from.
Unfortunately, as I only purchased one pair as a trial, and of course they're now in a worn condition, I can no longer return them and/or get a refund. This is of concern to me, particularly as at $29 these trunks are very expensive compared with the cotton Jockey trunks I usually buy for...half that price. I'm also concerned that no mention is made of the Step-One's bamboo production process; are the toxic chemicals sodium hydroxide and carbon disulphide, which have been linked to serious health problems, used in this product? From a wearer's perspective, I was also disappointed. The waist band tends to roll over at your abdomen (and no, I don't have a beer gut LOL); the fabric has a "slimy" feel, unlike the softness of cotton; it feels as though you're wearing pantyhose (I imagine); the so-called comfort pouch tends to let the family jewels bang around; the fabric itself is very thin; and after repeated sitting/standing movements, the legs gradually sneak up your thighs. I used Step-One's sizing guide, which 'seems' appropriate, and purchased the 2XL size for my 112cm waist. I can only think that their sizing charts are overly generous, as I now believe that the Extra Large would've been a better fit, and possibly negate the leg creep.
Overpriced and not nice to wear
At first I was impressed with how they felt, that’s where it ended. The legs rolled up throughout the day, the waist band kept folding over. And worst of all, kept getting wedgies all day. Thank god I only purchased one to start with. I have now reverted back to my old ones.
Therefore I can not recommend these at all
Waste of money
The waist band folds and stays that way and the material is so thin they last only a month or so. Bamboo underwear by ‘Boody’ and much more practical and durable.
I purchased my 1st pair to try them. They stretched and sagged after two wears and became extremely uncomfortable.
Washed once by hand. Worn them three times. Panel have stretched, Elastic in legs useless and waist band rolls over making it uncomfortable. Typical Chinese Manufacture all materials too light and poor quality. Having said that I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and I have ordered a smaller pair. I would strongly suggest that you up the quality of your materials if you want to stay in the market because at the moment I feel that they are in the same range as Target $3 pair. Sorry to write this, part of me is disappointing and part of me wants to see you succeed. PS your site does not seem to offer the choice of multiple colors under one purchase.
