Step One Bamboo Men's Trunk (Shorter)

These are comfortable. Sensational even. I was so excited to wear them for a day, after wearing overnight while asleep and thinking wow.
At the end of the next day I was like WHOA my KNOB is sore!! Never had this before, and set about investigating why. Guys, it’s the SEAM IN THE MIDDLE. It’s “overlocked” which is basically like sandpaper for your old chap. They should design these with an external stitched seam. Uncircumcised guys would be fine. Other than the pain from basically a chafed knob :-/ the rest of the design is great. Oh other advice: open ONE pair and wear before you open them all… because you can’t return the unopened ones.

Honestly avoid these at all costs. Ive used them for years and loved them for comfort and quality. So much so i recently purchased 13 for $273. Yes i was sold on the product. But the quality has dropped WAY off. In a few short months ive already had to throw away 4 because they split. Same exact style and size i used for years before.

Step ones used to be the best and all I wear, but the pairs I’ve bought in the last year have been horrible quality and sizing and not worth even half the price they’re asking frnthem

Such a bad design, feels like having wet undies all day. Looks like they will wear out very quickly too. Don't waste your money

Bought the one pair to try and see what the hype was about. They are just an expensive pair of boxer shorts. They are okay to wear but so are my other pairs that I pay a fiver for. They ride up through the day. Took nearly two weeks to arrive as well

So they guarantee you a 30 day return policy for undies to size up or down if you need. I bought 15 pairs, all were incorrect sizing so sent back 13 unopened pair. Customer service will not contact you. Will not say your package has arrived. Say there is nothing they can do. No phone number to ring so you can’t speak to someone. So I’ve basically lost $150 worth of money plus another $30 on postage back. They are a good product but would only buy 1 pair first as customer service is terrible. If you need to exchange they make it impossible to do.

Tried a pair of these following positive reviews and strong advertising. After first wash holes appeared in the thread, and in all fairness the company replaced so good customer service. Trouble is they made my chaffing worse. They may work for you.

Easy to order and fast delivery considering the current climate. Unfortunately mine were slightly tight, but StepOne were great and have sent me out a larger size as part of their fist pair guarantee. And with my first pair the stitching came undone after just two washes. Bit of a shame really, hope it’s just a one off.
EDIT - StepOne sorted out the issue with the stitching. Sent me a new pair straight away.

I bought two pairs. Great fit but at £15 a pair I won't be buying any more.

Good quality so far, lasting well. Very expensive for basically a pair of boxers. Bring to price down a bit and will definitely buy more.

Sizing chart incorrect, took 18 days to arrive, sent one of the two pair back postage $12.55. Seriously do not bother.

The trunks are very comfortable. Problem was I developed a fungal rash in the area of the Ultraglyde. The bamboo is great for keeping cool but for me the Ultraglyde gave problems. Had to visit the docs for a cream to treat the rash and have stopped wearing the trunks.

Bought 8 pairs and have worn them pretty much exclusively since they arrived. They are the most comfortable pants I’ve owned and do not ride up or cause rubbing even after long walks.
6 months in though 3 pairs have developed holes around the waste band which is not good enough at this price.
I have held off buying more as I expect them to last longer than that, In comparison my CK’s lasted a lot longer before showing any wear.

The colours and overall quality are great. But there’s so many other brands out there that are as good if not better.
Add that kanga pouch STEPONE.

I bought these to try for their anti chafing quality. Very comfortable but they still ride up. I have bought quite a few pairs and most seem to have the same problem. I don’t have tree trunk legs but they’re not chicken legs either ! Also the elastic in the waist doesn’t stay flat , tending to roll which makes it a bit uncomfortable.might have to keep looking
