While this pram has a premium price, you get what you pay for.
The Stokke pram is designed and built solidly. The wheels run smoothly and true which make it a dream to push around. With many easily adjustable parts to the pram it is easy to use for anyone tall or short.
For those who are a bit extroverted, you do not see many of these prams around and because of the design it turns a lot of heads.
The only negative about the pram is that it is quite bulky.
Solid build, wheels run smoothly and true, adjustable to suit person pushing the pram
Fairly bulky, premium price tag
You get what you pay for!!!
We bought the Stokke because we initially liked the look of it. My baby is now 11 months and we are so glad we decided to pay the extra and buy the best for him. Because of the height of the Xplory, our son sits like royalty, above everyone and at my eye level. This makes it so much easier to talk to him when we are walking, show him different things and the interactions he gets from strangers too. We live in inner Sydney, so we often dine in cafes and restaurants. The Stokke converts to a high chair and so we never have to use the ones from th...e restaurants (which can be dirty at times). Another advantage of the height is when we are stuck for change rooms, we can change our baby in the pram. Its amazing!!! We don't have to bend down at all. Because the shopping bag is at the front of the pram and due to its design, my husband's stride is not affected when he pushes the pram (he is very tall, 188cm). The handle bar also adjusts to accommodate his height as well. There is no need to purchase the bassinet as the standard seat has enough padding for a newborn. We purchased it but didn't find it very useful. The footmuff on the other hand is wonderful. We didn't need to worry about blankets in winter, we just popped him in the footmuff and he slept soundly. Accessories we purchased included: the change bag (useful), cup holder (very useful), parasol (still undecided on how useful), footmuff (very useful), bassinet (not useful). Overall, we love the Stokke. We are expecting another baby in November so our son will be 18 months. We may need another pram but just can't bring ourselves to not use the Stokke. Height adjustable, closer to your child, easy to manoeuvre, easy to fold

Only pram to buy!
I bought this pram with the birth of our fourth child so I know what I was looking for. It is by far the best pram for parents and children! It takes into account your back, your health and mental well being as well as the child. It's very easy to use compared to anything else on the market. Compact and simple, I looked at the instructions once to put the pram together. I wish I bought this with my first child, my back would have thanked me?

Fantastic! Our best buy so far!
I bought this pram for our second baby, and it is wonderful. My first pram required both hands and a lot of grunt to steer, and this one glides along only requiring one hand (so I can keep holding hands with my toddler). The height is excellent, and fully adjustable for the 'driver's' comfort - no more leaning down just to push! I love the flexibility of seat positions, and the fully reclined rear-facing position is easily flat enough for a newborn, so you don't have to pay for the bassinette. Easy to fold and unfold, no cross-bar to accidently...kick and not too wide for aisles and supermarket check-outs like some of the other popular prams around at the moment. Love the ability to use it as a high chair as well! Position flexibility, child up high, manoevrability, quality. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a basket, but the bag at the front is much roomier than it looks, so it's a very small 'con'.
Absolutely LOVE this pram, now that I have one, I know I'll never go back to anything else....what to do when the next child comes along..?? Just hope Stokke have a second seater by then.!!
UNREAL PRAM! So important to have my new baby facing me (can face in or out) as I could see when my baby was sleeping or if positioned in an awkward angle or the blanket had come away, etc just with a simple glace.
Baby loves being able to see everything being up so high, works really well in restaurants as can easily be used as a highchair.

Worth the price tag!
First off I love how this stroller accommodates a child up to 20.5kgs!! Most strollers only have a weight limit of 18kgs- which sucks! :( so this pram already wins at life :)
I bought this stroller a month ago in preparation for our next child (next year) but we wanted more use out of it (seeing as we were paying a lot for it) so we're using it for my 3yo, he's 15kgs and when I'm pushing him in the stroller I certainly can't feel it- the pram just glides so easily and turns without needing to put all my weight behind it. Which is a nice chan...ge, because I've gone through 4 strollers in three years trying to find the best one and I certainly think I've hit the jackpot in finding the one!! :) I so love how close I am to my son- it makes shopping feel so much more comfier and relaxing because I'm that much closer to him- I can talk directly to his face rather than talk down to him like in other strollers. Plus I can tell my little boy feels like he's king of the castle gliding around in his stokke- he's always got a big smile on his face :) I also love that I can keep him strapped in the stroller and lower the handlebar out of the way and it becomes a no fuss highchair! So it eliminated the need for getting him in and out, in and out, in and out of the stroller (which really hurts your back after a while! .... 15kgs isn't light!) The removable shopping basket/bag truly does fit a lot of shopping in it very securely! and then at the end of the day, rather than having to unload the shopping basket and pack it in the car- which can be a task of its own! ....you just unclip the one strap on the shopping basket/bag and off it comes! -it even has a handle/shoulder strap so picking up the shopping basket/bag isn't at all awkward. You can put a whole basket of shopping in your car in one go! Taking a quarter of the time unloading a normal stroller shopping basket takes.
Prefect Pram that will grow with you baby to toddlerhood!
Just love the design and how my child sit pretty high up to enjoy communication and interaction with people (adults) around him.
It's sturdy, easy to use and the service from Stokke makes all worth the pricetag!
So Far so good
We recently acquired the Stokke Xplory pram and have found it to be a very sturdy and reliable pram. We bought a cheaper brand when our first child was born but had ongoing problems with the tyres deflating, which was a real let down.
So far the Stokke is proving to be a good buy.
Nice sturdy design
The BEST stroller ever
Great stroller, light weight, easy to carry it everywhere.
Our baby loves to sit in it because its high and he feels close to us
I recommend it to every one :)
It is an eye catcher :)
I love this pram and can't imagine my life without it!
Really amazing stroller and worth every cent.
Simply the best pram ever - I cannot recommend it enough - save your pennies to buy it - you will never regret your purchase. I had a problem with the wheel and took it to the repair shop - they gave me a new wheel and I was off - no questions asked. The functionality of this pram is amazing - you can face the baby towards you while he/she is still bonding with you and turn it around when they are little older. Plus you can add a carseat attachment so you can pop your carseat straight into it without waking baby. Buy this pram you won't reg...ret it! Fantastic, easy to use, high up off the ground away from all the fumes, baby can sit up at the table with you and not down near your knees, excellent warranty that they don't make a double pram version
We use this as our primary stroller and didn't realise how great it was until we brought a light weight (all be it still pricey) feather weigh pram for traveling. It is not until you have used a standard pram that you realise what you took for granted.
Pros: No bending down to get baby in and out.
We cafe a lot and the baby is instantly at table height, watch the world go by and interacting with you which means you get to enjoy you coffee/lunch without speed eating. No getting baby in and out of the chair and thus risking a tantie at...any given moment. It took about 2 weeks to loosen up the mechanism for collapsing and engaging the chassis - after that it is a complete breeze (thank you youtube for the instructional video). It fits in the car fine. The two wheel mode is great when you have no choice other than stairs or an escalator. It pushes like a dream!! It wasn't until we purchased our second travel pram that I understood how smooth a ride baby gets and how little push effort I have to give.
The Best Pram Ever!!
Stylish, convenient, innovative, everything I could have asked for ... Happy baby, happy parents :)
My daughter sleeps for 1-2 hours at a time during her nap times. I have started walking everyday, love pushing this pram. Some days I am out 3-5 hours (with breaks in between of course!) but baby is quite happy to be sitting in her xplory, perched up like royalty.
Everyone who passes us, either smiles, waves or stops to talk to her which is great for her communication and social skills!

Overall a great pram. Looked at just about all the prams on the market and a lot are great big things you'd need a four wheel drive to carry them with, are heavier and are much less wieldy in shops and cafes. The smaller Bugaboo Bee has baby way down near the ground and might be a problem for those with back problems and doesn't really have a bassinett. Bugaboo Chamelean was a bit wobbly and the handle was slightly more fiddly to adjust. The Stokke won over the Chameleon due to it's looks, I didn't think the suspension on the Bugaboo front ...wheels was much good for anything and you can't adjust the height of bassinett or seat on the Bugaboo. Stokke also has room between the back wheels for your feet/legs to swing if you're tall. When the seat is facing backwards, if you have the foot rest on about the third click down you don't need to remove it - just manouever it around the handle. I remove the footrest by grabbing the "legs" with each hand and flicking the little white levers with my thumbs and sliding down. The footrest is easier to work with in the new version of this pram as it has one catch to release. I load the seat into the car first, shove that up the front of the boot sideways and them put the chassis in behind it (sideways also). If you've got anything in the bag, you need to take it off as it will swing around the chassis bar. the carry bag is very easy to remove - two poppers and the handle is right there for you to pick the bag up with. The brake was getting a bit stiff to operate so I pulled the right rear wheel off, disassembled some of the brake assembly so I could remove the brake pedal and put Dry Glide on the bearing surfaces of the brake pedal. It's nice and smooth and easy to apply and release now. Overall a great pram. A bit expensive but if you keep it clean and in good condition you can sell them for good money. Adjustable handle (up and down), reversible seat, can change the angle on the seat, narrow and very manoueverable. You can flip the back wheels up for rougher surfaces and take pram onto escalators (preferable to not have bub in the pram when you flip wheels back or take onto escalator!). Seat padding/material easyish to remove to wash (after bub spews on it). Slightly light-on for storage, could fold up a bit smaller but it's already fairly good in this regard. You need to learn the tricks for easy assembly/disassembly but once you do it's very quick to pull apart.
Amazing and worth every cent.
The height of your baby's position is the winner for the baby and your back and the lightweight design is great.
Our baby loves being so high and so close to us while also being able to face us. The option to have her face us or outward is there too but we haven't tried that yet. The Stokke is so light, so easy to push and so thin. You can fit it anywhere! There are so many movable options which make it so easy to use. The ability to have her sit up when awake or lay down for sleep with the flick of a button is ...
Picked one up for the missua and it is a godsend. Cant fault it. Easy to pack away and light as.
Expensive, but worth it
