Only buy this if your have a BIG car....
I have a Ford Falcon and my xplory fills up most of the boot. It is a nightmare to fold/unfold the pram when you see other parents get their prams out and go in just 5 secs.
And it is very not stable on a grassland/bumpy road. I now worry about the safety of my kid in the pram as it doesn't really have any cushioning on side/bottom.
Not sure it is a plus or not, when you are driving this pram you will get a lot of comments and attention from others which is quite annoying to me because they usually ask you to show them how the seat can be ...
This pram is a joke...
I regret paying $1500 for such a plastic pram which is heavy and bulky.
My OH insisted getting this pram because it obviously is eye catching and pretty. But it lacks of the practical side of a pram.
The push and walk on a smooth ground is fine (mind you -a $19 pram can scoot smoothly on smooth ground too).
but once you get it onto a grassland or bumpy road, your kid would feel so bumpy that he can't keep sleeping. I can't believe for this price it doesn't have any air cushioning!
The worst bit is when it comes to folding the pram into ...the car. I have a Honda Accord and it fills up my whole boot. There is no room for a bay of grocery! if you are driving a hatch and small car, please don't even think about this pram. You will need your 2nd row seat folded for most of the time.... The paints on the wheel/frame fell off so easily.
The best pram hands down!
I just bought this pram in the last week and what can I say but.... amazing.
I was very stupid to buy the new iCandy and used it for the past 3 months and decided it was a no go. I went out and bought the Stokke Xplory V3 and it's the best decision I have made for my baby.
Firstly, the design is so eye catching and everyone comments on how great the pram looks -from all ages and walks of life. The weight of the pram is what made me buy it - it's so light and easy to manoeuvre you can literally do a 360 on any terrain.
My little one is ...now 3 months old and I never bought the bassinet as he loves sitting up and looking up and around. He's 70cm long and fits in the back recline perfectly and is also at eye level when we are at restaurants. This would be one of the best things about the pram - Melbourne is not baby friendly and having a pram that's high up and easy to swivel around is great. What I also love is the fact I don't even need to collapse the base to put it in my car, it can roll on in and roll out when I need it, the chair just clicks out in a quick motion and is super comfortable for my baby.
The best pram by far
I have used this pram for my 1yr old son and absolutely love it. The turning circle is great its so easy to use sturdy and just so easy. I dont think there is anything that I would change about this pram. Its simply a dream to have owned and used for the last year. I would recommend it to anyone. The different seating positions the fact that your baby is so high up and when you turn it around at a restaurant its like a high chair just amazing. The only tiny down fall is if you have small boot space in your car not great as the Frame is quite lo...ng but as I have a station wagon its not been a problem for me at all. I'm now pregnant with a second and am looking for a double pram with alot of disappointment. They are either so wide its uncomfortable to move or one of your children in under the other or they are just so long. But today I saw the new Stokke double pram. I'm in love with it as this one has been amazing. Crossing my fingers that its half as good as my beautiful explore. Maybe the length of the fram in the boot of the car but i have a station wagon so no big deal for me.
I received gifts from my office mates during my baby shower and was surprised to have 2 strollers for my twins. I must say that this stroller, the Strokke Xplory is really amazing. I never had a hard time figuring out how to use this because it's very easy.
It run smoothly, the seats are comfortable at any age for a baby and it has the best accessories that I don't need to buy anything else to add up for my twins.
Parents should choose the right strollers for baby's convenience, safety and more importantly lifestyle. This stroller is us...eful for parents like us who travel often. We can fold it easily and can be stashed in a car trunk without taking too much space. Safety feature, check. Convenience feature, check, Accessories, check. Strokke Xplory for me is my all-around stroller. Simply amazing. Marga Efficiency
The best decision I made was purchasing this pram. It's so functional that it's a breeze to take my 12 month old out in it whether it's simply to go to the park, shopping centres, cafés/restaurants or overseas.
The height is what won me over first, my little girl loves looking around & being able to sit up high. The steering is so easy, literally with one hand if need be. Taking the pram to cafés and restaurants is great. The seat can be adjusted to sit completely upright and turns into a highchair.
I didn't bother buying the bassinet, as th...
Love this pram! Smooth steering, wheels are awesom. Love the height and good for my backpain! Love thr bassinet as i can change bubs nappies in the bassinet without having to use the dirty changetables in shopping centres.
However, pram is heavy. Hard to fold and lift into carboot. Takes up the whole space in the boot leaving tiny or no space for your shopping.
Shopping bag is small and troublesome to bend over and zip/unzip shopping bag. Accessories
VERY expensive! $50 for a cupholder which i ended up getting from the u.s for $25. Parasol a...
More expensive compared to other strollers but worth the money
The stroller is easy to manoeuvre and can be adjusted to different heights so can relieve the pressure on mothers' backs when getting your bub in and out. We just went on holidays to the Whitsundays and saw our pram tumbling off the conveyor belt from the plane onto the tarmac. Thinking that we'd find a broken stroller when we went to pick up our luggage, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our stroller didn't even have a scratch on it (unlike another stroller which we saw that was literally broken into two pieces!). We purchased our stro...ller in the USA and when we had a problem with one of the parts when we got back to Sydney, the international warranty covered our problem without any hassles through the Australian agent for Stokke. Functional, durable, international warranty Having to purchase extras such as the cup holder which should be included as a standard part
Best item I have
I put a lot of thought into buying this with my first baby, who is now 8 months old. He absolutely loves it and doesn't mind sitting in it for hours at a time. Easy to maneuver, and the storage bag can hold more than you think. Folding it up was a bit of a hassle to begin with, but with lots of practice this becomes smoother as the mechanisms loosen up.
I had a problem with the seat sliding down accidentally so I returned this to Stokke and they fixed this with no questions asked. On a side note, the Choice consumer website have assessed this pram as being unsafe... So maybe check this out before purchasing. Otherwise, I love this pram and so does my baby.
Sits up high, easy to push
One of the best pram in the market.
It is very pricy compare to other brands but it works better. Very easy to use and has good handling. The finish quality is nice, great accessories and broad colour range.
The only thing that i dont like is it is a bit hard to fold but other than that it is great product
Design, handling, easy to use
While this pram has a premium price, you get what you pay for.
The Stokke pram is designed and built solidly. The wheels run smoothly and true which make it a dream to push around. With many easily adjustable parts to the pram it is easy to use for anyone tall or short.
For those who are a bit extroverted, you do not see many of these prams around and because of the design it turns a lot of heads.
The only negative about the pram is that it is quite bulky.
Solid build, wheels run smoothly and true, adjustable to suit person pushing the pram
Fairly bulky, premium price tag
Amazing pram and customer support!
I own a Stokke Xplory V2 pram and absolutely love it! It is an amazing design that elevates my baby so much higher than any other pram or stroller does. He loves facing me and interacting! Really brilliant pram, the accessories are lovely too and the shopping basket is quite huge even though it looks so neat and tidy when it is empty. Own an Xplory and you will be the envy and the talk of the town for sure (we have been but I love it). They have outstanding customer support too, I contacted them twice and both times they were excellent, so help...ful and dealt with me really quickly! I have owned over 20 different prams and stroller but settled for this as this ticks pretty much all boxes for us! the design, heigh of the seat, can face either way, excellent customer support no all terrain tyres, takes up a bit of room in the boot
Amazing head-turner pram
It's as amazing as every reviewer says it is - and I didn't believe it until I actually started using ours! People stop and stare, walk and stare, compliment out loud, stop us to comment on it, stop us to ask what brand it is or even give them an on-the-spot review! They're just amazed at how high bub is and think the Xplory is just one cool stroller!
In the beginning, it was a pain to get the handle of collapsing and loading it into the car. While sleek and minimalist looking, the number of buttons and levers to systematically control was a...little daunting. But after a few tries, it gets easier. The only big issue we've found right now with our V2 seat is that the white upwards unlatching lever to remove the seat is a big pain! Some newer seats of the V2 have improved unlatching, but we're awaiting the arrival of our V3 seat upgrade. (Yes, you can actually just purchase the new seat alone and it will fit onto the original chasis. Another great plus.) Besides that, it's a great stroller in shopping malls and on paved sidewalks/roads. It's easy to manoeuvre in crowds and narrow (but wide enough for the stroller) aisles. I've even navigated the stroller through a crowded shopping mall with one hand, once! I didn't think this was special until I actually helped a friend push her Bugaboo Chameleon... oh gawd, the Bugaboo was so hard to push and maneuver! I also love the fact that I don't need to have bub sit in a grimy restaurant highchair, she continues using the Xplory as her chair at the table and can be included in our conversation and meals. This stroller is definitely a great social interaction medium for bub. Great urban stroller, easy to maneuver (with one hand even!), bub in highchair level, 5 seat levels & positioning, encourages bub's social skills Expensive, not great on terrain/grass, some V1/V2 seat models are hard to remove off chassis
You get what you pay for!!!
We bought the Stokke because we initially liked the look of it. My baby is now 11 months and we are so glad we decided to pay the extra and buy the best for him. Because of the height of the Xplory, our son sits like royalty, above everyone and at my eye level. This makes it so much easier to talk to him when we are walking, show him different things and the interactions he gets from strangers too. We live in inner Sydney, so we often dine in cafes and restaurants. The Stokke converts to a high chair and so we never have to use the ones from th...e restaurants (which can be dirty at times). Another advantage of the height is when we are stuck for change rooms, we can change our baby in the pram. Its amazing!!! We don't have to bend down at all. Because the shopping bag is at the front of the pram and due to its design, my husband's stride is not affected when he pushes the pram (he is very tall, 188cm). The handle bar also adjusts to accommodate his height as well. There is no need to purchase the bassinet as the standard seat has enough padding for a newborn. We purchased it but didn't find it very useful. The footmuff on the other hand is wonderful. We didn't need to worry about blankets in winter, we just popped him in the footmuff and he slept soundly. Accessories we purchased included: the change bag (useful), cup holder (very useful), parasol (still undecided on how useful), footmuff (very useful), bassinet (not useful). Overall, we love the Stokke. We are expecting another baby in November so our son will be 18 months. We may need another pram but just can't bring ourselves to not use the Stokke. Height adjustable, closer to your child, easy to manoeuvre, easy to fold

Only pram to buy!
I bought this pram with the birth of our fourth child so I know what I was looking for. It is by far the best pram for parents and children! It takes into account your back, your health and mental well being as well as the child. It's very easy to use compared to anything else on the market. Compact and simple, I looked at the instructions once to put the pram together. I wish I bought this with my first child, my back would have thanked me?

Fantastic! Our best buy so far!
I bought this pram for our second baby, and it is wonderful. My first pram required both hands and a lot of grunt to steer, and this one glides along only requiring one hand (so I can keep holding hands with my toddler). The height is excellent, and fully adjustable for the 'driver's' comfort - no more leaning down just to push! I love the flexibility of seat positions, and the fully reclined rear-facing position is easily flat enough for a newborn, so you don't have to pay for the bassinette. Easy to fold and unfold, no cross-bar to accidently...kick and not too wide for aisles and supermarket check-outs like some of the other popular prams around at the moment. Love the ability to use it as a high chair as well! Position flexibility, child up high, manoevrability, quality. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a basket, but the bag at the front is much roomier than it looks, so it's a very small 'con'.
Absolutely LOVE this pram, now that I have one, I know I'll never go back to anything else....what to do when the next child comes along..?? Just hope Stokke have a second seater by then.!!
UNREAL PRAM! So important to have my new baby facing me (can face in or out) as I could see when my baby was sleeping or if positioned in an awkward angle or the blanket had come away, etc just with a simple glace.
Baby loves being able to see everything being up so high, works really well in restaurants as can easily be used as a highchair.

Worth the price tag!
First off I love how this stroller accommodates a child up to 20.5kgs!! Most strollers only have a weight limit of 18kgs- which sucks! :( so this pram already wins at life :)
I bought this stroller a month ago in preparation for our next child (next year) but we wanted more use out of it (seeing as we were paying a lot for it) so we're using it for my 3yo, he's 15kgs and when I'm pushing him in the stroller I certainly can't feel it- the pram just glides so easily and turns without needing to put all my weight behind it. Which is a nice chan...ge, because I've gone through 4 strollers in three years trying to find the best one and I certainly think I've hit the jackpot in finding the one!! :) I so love how close I am to my son- it makes shopping feel so much more comfier and relaxing because I'm that much closer to him- I can talk directly to his face rather than talk down to him like in other strollers. Plus I can tell my little boy feels like he's king of the castle gliding around in his stokke- he's always got a big smile on his face :) I also love that I can keep him strapped in the stroller and lower the handlebar out of the way and it becomes a no fuss highchair! So it eliminated the need for getting him in and out, in and out, in and out of the stroller (which really hurts your back after a while! .... 15kgs isn't light!) The removable shopping basket/bag truly does fit a lot of shopping in it very securely! and then at the end of the day, rather than having to unload the shopping basket and pack it in the car- which can be a task of its own! ....you just unclip the one strap on the shopping basket/bag and off it comes! -it even has a handle/shoulder strap so picking up the shopping basket/bag isn't at all awkward. You can put a whole basket of shopping in your car in one go! Taking a quarter of the time unloading a normal stroller shopping basket takes.
Prefect Pram that will grow with you baby to toddlerhood!
Just love the design and how my child sit pretty high up to enjoy communication and interaction with people (adults) around him.
It's sturdy, easy to use and the service from Stokke makes all worth the pricetag!
So Far so good
We recently acquired the Stokke Xplory pram and have found it to be a very sturdy and reliable pram. We bought a cheaper brand when our first child was born but had ongoing problems with the tyres deflating, which was a real let down.
So far the Stokke is proving to be a good buy.
Nice sturdy design
