Paddle Pop changing Again!
The Original chocolate Paddle Pop should have never changed. If parents were that worried about what their kids eat, the shouldn't allow them to have it. Give them some other ice-cream, but it was outrageous that the rest of us had to do without the original fantastic taste. I can tell the difference, and I can tell you I don't buy anywhere the amount I used to. The original chocolate paddle pop was the best-tasting chocolate in the world. Bring the original back and rename any 'parent approved' ice-cream' as 'parent censored' paddle pop. If...the parents are worried about their kids weight, make the kids go outside to play more that sitting at a computer. I grew up with the original choc. paddle pop and I'm very healthy. I used to play outside all the time. Of course, playstations and the like didn't exist. Nothing's as good as playing outside (with an original choc. paddle pop in your hand). As for the banana one, I don't like it anyway, but I do feel for the people who do. Isn't it interesting that, to my knowledge, parents seem to have only targeted Paddle Pops? In 1997-1998 there was a sort of caramelly & something else flavoured PP, and it was fabulous. Of course, they had to go and get rid of that as well. Streets, you have really gone down the drain. Shame on you for turning your back on all the Aussies that were loyal to you for decades. Shame on you! Chocolate (the original-flavoured) was the best tasting chocolate ice-cream in the world, and I am someone who is a world-traveller. Streets went and changed the recipe to make parents happy. I've been a loyal choc, p.p. consumer for over decades. I guess it doesn't matter if loyal customers like me are happy.
Paddle Pop's are a great treat for the whole family and the chocolate flavour is appealing, especially to children. Paddle Pops often have promotions, where certain sticks entitle you to a free ice cream.
The chocolate flavour is thick and creamy. Perfect for a hot day. These ice-creams are a reasonable size for the price you pay, and the stick is easy to hold without making a mess like some other ice-creams cause.
From memory, they only come in single size, or packs of 8. I think packet sizes of 4,6, 8 and 12 would be better.
It is a great product. It also has the additional bonus of winning prizes on the paddle pop stick. Nonetheless, this is a great treat for anyone and I love so much. I always buy this when is on special. Highly recommended.
This is a great product from my childhood. I would always buy this when I went to the beach - a great treat after some time in the sun. They are available almost anywhere that sells ice cream, and it is sold a very reasonable price. It is very chocolaty and always has that milk taste to it that I really enjoy.
It does melt a bit quickly, but that cannot be helped because it is ice cream after all!

Know better, choose better.
Its a great summer treat for the kids and isnt too expensive in supermarkets or corner shops. The chocolate tastes so yummy and creamy and tickles your tastbuds. Also, they often have promotions on the stick of the ice cream, where you can collect sticks with certain pictures to win prizes. Some even entitle you to a free ice-cream on the spot. Paddle Pop's the way to go!
I love how inexpensive they are, nothing artificial in them so they're a great ice cream for the kids. You can find them at almost any supermarket, corner shop or petrol station.
Nothing, they're fantastic!

Whats going on with rainbow paddle pops in Albury? No flavour! Also what's going on with the choc mint, no one has any, not Coles not woolies not IGA, where are they???!!!!
Are the ingredients the same as they were in the 60 s?
I Dislike the new chocolate paddle pop ... I know and love the original flavour... I hate the new recipe .
Not like the good ol days!!
No, they have changed in all the ways that should matter.
The recipe is supposedly healthier but i doubt the validity of that, they are more watery and airy than ever, and they taste like frozen all-you-can-eat bistro choc mousse......
Part of their so called 'heath initiative' and a selling point some years ago was that they reduced the calories, yeah they literally made the snack smaller, and not just a little smaller, i mean, A LOT SMALLER, this was supposedly as a result of controlled portions for school canteens, ok , so what, make smaller ones for schools and leave the retail world alone... Cornetto's come in two sizes..... plus all the air whipped in and there's just nothing there anymore.
