Terrible service to a loyal customer of over 10 years
I have purchased from this store and their sister brand, Cinori, over the past 10 years. The first 2 pairs of Django and Juliette shoes, one of their owned brands, were in-store. There were so many different pairs I loved, and that fit me perfectly, that I fell in love with the brand and have been purchasing them confidently online over the past 10 years. I've purchased other brands from their store too, and have returned some as they haven't fit me well. D&J though always seem to fit really well.
I recently purchased a pair of sandals from...D&J brand - Barisha in white. They fit perfectly when I tried them on in the house, however it wasn't until I walked in them outdoors that my feet slipped off the back. The straps were done all the way up yet they didn't hold my feet in place. I was really disappointed as these are not cheap shoes, yet I had worn them. I discussed a credit with the service team - not a refund - as a long term and very disappointed customer. I was told there was nothing wrong with the shoes and I should have purchased a bigger size and not worn them out of the house. A bigger size would have had a bigger problem - if the strap was already at the tightest setting and still didn't keep my foot in place how would a bigger size work? Sadly they own the brand and still will not offer any sort of credit/replacement or better service. I guess the learning is to wear your new shoes from this brand around the house until they are worn in or you will not get any sort of refund or credit! Very disappointed, after years of purchasing with them as a loyal customer I've been treated like a first time buyer and that my opinion means nothing! I need to find a new brand that I trust, as they have lost mine.
I've long been a fan of Styletread for their wide selection - much better than most stores, fast delivery & excellent customer service however, refunds have always taken a long time to be processed & I've often mentioned this delay in my reviews. But this time my return was received on the 10th December & my refund was processed the same day! I'm super impressed & that's the icing on the cake for me. So thank you very much Styletread
Best service ever!
The boots I ordered came within a week, well packed. Unfortunately they were too large so I decided to hold onto them, order a smaller size and see which ones fit best. The second delivery also came within a week. I was able to go online print a return docket and return the first pair free of charge. The total refund was in my bank account within a week. It was so, so easy and fast. I will definitely shop with Style Tread in the future.
Styletread - refund policy is absolutely shocking!
Shoes arrived and after wearing them for 5 days to work (office) they fell apart and the soles completely came off - I took photos of the shows before gluing them together and made contact with styletread for a refund so that I could purchase another pair of work shoes. They advised that they would not refund me the $99.95 until I took to the shows with scissors. I explained that I live in a small country town and needed to keep wearing the shoes even though the glue was also now coming apart until I received the money so that I could buy another pair of shoes.
Beware terrible service
Style Tread made a mistake on my order. took me 6 weeks to get a reply about return.
They system asset up to take moony Easily and never return it./

Incredible slow process of refund for online shoe purchases
I have been purchasing shoes from Style Tread since 2018. When I started their delivery and refund of returns was almost immediate so that I could choose a shoe size that fit better. Four years on and their service levels have dropped. I returned a pair of shoes that did not fit my son the same day I received them. they were delivered on 01/04/2020 (Auspost tracking) and the refund still hasn't been processed. As their customer base has grown their service levels have dropped!

Beware StyleTread + Django & Juliette products
Hopefully you're reading this because you did you homework - unlike me!
I bought Django & Juliette sandals (at full RRP $140) as a Christmas gift from StyleTread.com.au on Dec 16. The free express delivery worked well and I was pleased to see them arrive two days later.
Unfortunately after wearing them a handful of times, the back of the shoe started to show signs of excessive wear (see second image below). I first emailed StyleTread.com.au with images on Dec 31 with my complaint. They requested more images and eventually decided that th...e wear was due to the way the wearer 'walks'. This is an unacceptable level of wear after one week. No matter how you 'walk'. I then found out why everyone on this forum has had so much trouble with faults - BECAUSE STYLETREAD OWNS AND DISTRIBUTES THE BRANDS. It's not in their interest to act 'independently'. They present the website as an independent retailer of various shoes brands but they own them, hence there's no recourse when things go wrong.
My order arrived on time, however the boots were not matching. The left had a pointed toe, the right rounded, the left was about 1cm higher than the right. They were different colours. I was very disappointed in the quality control of such a well known brand. With all that said the return and refund went smoothly.
Terrible customer service
I have ordered shoes from Styletread many time however this time the label that was stuck in the shoe from the inside wasn't trimmed properly and was giving me grief and pain on my ankle. When I contacted Styletread they said that my issue was comfort related! That's not true when the pain on the ankle came clearly from the sticker that wasn't trimmed off from manufacturer. The shoe wasn't even over $100. They should have taking it back to Manufacturer and maybe offered a new one as I wasn't trying to get the my money back. It wouldn't have cos...t them much, however it will now as I am not going to order any more shoes there when I have been for many years! Just sad that a big company would worry about something like that. The fact that they didn't believe me was very disappointing!! I will keep sharing my experience with friends and online!
Poor quality shoes and shocking service - they ripped me off!
My mother and I bought the exact same pair of shoes, they were very comfortable but the sole, at the front, came away, causing me to almost fall over and heavily scuffed the front of one shoe. The soles came off my mothers shoes too. She paid 15.00 per shoe to have the glued back together but they fell apart again. I contacted Styletread and they gave me $10.00 towards having them glued and told me the cobbler could polish the scuffing out - he can't - the leather is torn and they look so bad, I cannot wear them. I threatened to report the mat...ter to the ACCC, which they didn't seem to care about, because the ACCC won't do anything anyway, they just collect data and monitor trends. My mother and I won't be buying any more shoes through Styletread and recommend you don't either. They treated me with contempt. The shoes are not fit for purpose. They offered me $20 off a new pair of shoes, which I won't be taking up, because I have to spend money to buy a new pair and what if they fall apart too???? Shocking quality and poor service! Daylight robbery!
Comfortable shoes - split seams too easily.
Have owned the a pair of Supersoft galaxy black mesh woman's active sneakers for 3 months. Worn on weekends and after work - so comfortable.
Unfortunately the seam has split on the side of one shoe.
Would not recommend anyone buy these as the policy - after viewing the photos dictates that this is wear an tear.
For $100, not good value.
Styletread lose another customer
Buyer beware! This long time customer is bitterly disappointed with Styletread and their lack of customer service. Wore new boots a handful of times and within 2 months stitching around elasticised insert tore away. Upon notification, Styletread requested photographic evidence and a written quote to repair. It was made very clear they would not accept return of the faulty boots. Quote to repair both boots was $80. Styletread today credited my account with an insulting $26. I will never purchase from Styletread again!
Took forever to get my money back
I purchased 2 pairs of boots. One was perfect the other was too small. I returned them using the parcel point courier service which took 10 days from Melbourne to Melbourne and then no communication regarding my refund. The service to get my product was quick but to get my money back has taken forever. I will never shop with style tread again

poor quality and unstable causing wearer to trip
The shoe was chosen because of the added security of a back strap. I liked the design so wore them, because they had been worn the customer service operator flatly refused to accept they were not suitable. Poor quality meant the shoe was unstable. Very disappointed
Questions & Answers
Has anyone complied with the email they send asking you to send them a snapshot of your transaction for security reasons? I find it very odd after I just purchased two pairs of shoes. Not sure I want to continue with the transaction..
Never received the email request as I did not purchase anything from them after the poor service from their customer service personnel.
I purchased the items from another supplier and will never deal with this organisation.
