Go a call from my gas & electricity providrs telling me my acccounts being closed cause i have joined a nw provider.Contacted Ausnet services and they told me it was SUMO i have transferred to, called SUMO said it was an typo error, no.. they changed me without my authority Show details

Spam after spam after spam

I got a quote from Sumo for gas. In the meantime I was getting other quotes so I hadn’t decided on a retailer yet. Since getting the Sumo quote, Ive been getting four or more emails everyday from Sumo. This went on for a couple of weeks. One of the Sumo reps called me to see if I wanted to sign up. I told him about all the spam emails I was getting and he said he would stop the emails and it would take 24hrs to come into effect. Well, 24hrs later Im still getting multiple emails everyday. Now Ive blocked their email address. Now Im getting spam SMS’s.
Mr Sumo, one more SMS and I will report you to the Do Not Call register. As for signing up with Sumo, now way, Ill choose another retailer. Show details

The support and business practice employed are meant to make it hard to talk to them about problems. no reply emails etc

I have been hung up on multiple times, noreply emails, had no success making any complaints. Their staff are more worried about your language than the problems they have caused. Show details

I have had my Gas and Electricity connection for quite a few years and once I left for a so called cheaper company and I found that it might have been a tiny bit cheaper but more of problems than I could cope with. Excellent Customer Service - as usual!

Kurt was sharp and friendly and explained my Gas Bill simply and easily - even though my battery died in the middle of the conversation, he was able to pick up where we left off!!
My gas bill was only $68.20 for 90 days and that included hot water - which helps bring down the electricity bill. as well.

Absolute stupidity to apply for an account in order to abolish my gas meter when tenant flees the property

Josh and Max from collections sorted out my gas abolishment with ease. Thank you guys. There co worker ash I spoke with yesterday has zero idea and waisted my time. Jemena, even though not related, have zero idea as well.one thing I might add, is that the abolishment form is not as clear cut. Also, if a tenant has an active account and flees the premises should not make me then go and create a stupid account on order to be allowed to then apply for a abolishment of my gas meter. Pathetic attempt at customer service
