Great until you want to clean it
Great fan with good power and functions that worked great for the first season. Just got it out of storage and wanted to clean it before the second summer of use and found it impossible to clean. The front panel which looks like it is removable (and could easily have been made that way by sunbeam) is not, and the rear panel uses 3 Phillips head screws and one star screw thing making it impossible to be cleaned at home. Seems like sunbeam want you to make a decision to either buy a new fan or go to the trouble of having a 99$ fan serviced, obviously costing you time and money. We have two of these so is a massive pain. Will not be buying sunbeam again.
Photo added of star screw in rear panel.
Purchased in October 2019.
Terrible Fan And Electrically Unsafe
This fan is very under powered but most concerning is our fan produces an electric shock from the plug after having been powered on for a while!
Also makes a loud and annoying beep whenever any mode is changed, which is not good for operation at night when people are sleeping.
