Too early to say .I'll know in a few months.
I had trouble with the Wi-Fi not connecting to the dongle. The help team did the best they can to sort it. A big thank you to Raymond and Emma for their patience. 10/10 for their effort :)

Good Results so Far
Install Team - Ryan, were very efficient and appeared to complete everything required ASAP, and answered our questions professionally.
Communication with the Sunboost install team and follow up Communication was/is Poor. The terms and conditions clearly state that the Customer is responsible for contacting their energy provider for Net meter install/connection, which I did. I Day later Sunboost then provided the required documentation to my energy provider, which caused a duplication of work orders, delays and no assistance from the Sunboost team!

Has never been a problem
From the time of deciding to purchase our panels from Sunboost we have never had any issues. Recently I had a problem that I created and Barry helped me to rectify it and he was so nice in the process..
I truthfully cannot say anything against this company and the staff.

As good a one would hope to expect
very easy to enquire to final quote and passed onto the next department for installation.
Installation was efficient and arrived on time plus any questions ask were answered.

It's better than I expected.
Everything was fine during the installation process. Tradesmen are polite and quick. The result is better than I expected. They have inspectors come to check the job during the installation.

Tony is a good honest sales rep who is eager to assist with any of my queries and doubts. When there was a good deal, he helped me secured it by placing a deposit and he ensures me that it will be refunded if I decided not to proceed with Sunboost. After decided not to proceed, Tony was understanding with the reason I gave. He refunded my deposit with no hassle and have an email receipt confirmation that it's been refunded.

WARNING - very bad experience with Sunboost
During the installation process my Makita cordless drill (located in a locked garage on a workbench 1 meter away from where the inverter was installed) went missing.
Sunboost was not interested.
It made for a very unpleasant experience.

Inverter not operational.

I contacted Sunboost just prior to Christmas 2021 for advice as to the size of the solar system I would require and was advised that a 6.6KW system would suit my electricity requirements. I agreed to this and was advised, that with Christmas holidays, there may a slight delay. The delay was minimal and I happily advise that the system was installed on 5th February. I have been extremely happy with the good communication with the company, the contacts have all provided useful and necessary information for the provision of the solar system. My only concern now is the delay from my home electrical provider in contacting me with installation times for my Net Meter, although this is nothing to do with Sunboost. Referral Payment
I installed a 12.6 system two years ago and referred a friend with Sunboost promising a $100 referral. The friends system was completed almost two years ago and I've been emailed this company requesting payment of the referral.....but noting !! A scam it would appear. Trading Standards have been notified and I understand I'm not the first person they've done this to.

I was told installation would happen on 12 January. Three installers showed up and scoped the job (this is something other companies do BEFORE the date of installation and, if they are operating professionally, BEFORE they agree the price).
The installers made some comments about the need to run conduit and have an electrician to install.
Today (Saturday) I had a call with Sunboost telling me the job would cost a further $500 because it would take a day to install the wiring to the inverter and meter box. There was some (gobsmacking) comment regarding if it were not installed according to legal requirements, I could not use the solar system if it were inspected by relevant authorities.
I explained I had been offered a price, agreed a contract, expected the system would be installed in accordance with legal requirements and I would not be paying a cent more. I have asked Sunboost to send me a firm plan regarding installation by Monday, at the agreed price and, if not, I advised Sunboost I would have to consider my options.
Completely unsatisfactory performance to date. Hopefully Sunboost will redeem itself.

One of the 3 installers was the electrician on my job. They cant install it without an electrician. I had my site inspection on the day of install ebven after I asked for one prior. The electrician used conduit to run wire which is a requirement for all cabling anyway.
I did have another company come and do a site inspection but the person who came was rude and basically told me he was wasting his time with me. He also quoted almost 3 times the price for a similar system

We signed our contract with Sunboost on 13/11/2020 and paid our $200 deposit. We were supposed to get the system installed before Christmas but Sunboost Reps would just ring a day before installation and cancel. We have made endless calls to them and been transferred to installers who tell you that they will be coming to install and then they don’t turn up. Then we were told that our house was too high for the installers. We complained and was told that a representative from the installers would come and have a look at our house today then install the next day. We are still waiting. I wonder if Alan Border knows how this company really operates?

I didn’t have such issues. We had few cancellation due to rain on those dates . Who was the sales person. We had Mark. Talk to him and he will sort you issues.

Sunboost don’t let you talk to anyone but who they want you to talk to. It would be a waste of time asking for Mark. He probably doesn’t handle my area. We are in North Brisbane.

Oh well, you probably forgot to mention that, customer need to pay 300 deposit in order to secure the lowest price. Then it is wonderfully come with 10 days cooling period. customer will get REFUND with cooling period. Amid fee $150 apply. Wow easily, regardless what, sunboost gets 150 with every customer that they loop in thro “10 days cooling period”
