Exceptional customer service
Following a fault with our Inverter it was necessary to contact Sunboost as our system was still under warranty. We had Carter as our contact person. He could not have been more helpful and very polite. Always at the end of the phone (never talking to a machine which was a big plus) advising on updates & progress of service calls for our inverter issue to the final replacement. We are very happy with the outcome.

My solar going into alarm
Project number 173196 which has been handled by Carter. My solar system was regularly going into alarm and shutting down and then after a variable interval the system would come back on line. Contact was made with Carter and he investigated the cause and contacted me yesterday with a fix. The system now needs to be monitored to see it the fix is successful.

Great Service
Unit was not operating at all after a Synergy inspection. We rang Sunboost and they had a service rep out within 2 working days. He fixed the problem in short order and the panels work like a dream again now. Very happy indeed.

Inverter grid over voltage alert warning
Request for assistance was answered very quickly.
Directions to reprogram inverter was supplied over the phone to resolve the alert condition.
Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Early days but appears very efficient
Installation process went smoothly and installers were polite and very happy to answer any concerns and questions. Carried out their work efficiently and whole process throughout really went very well. data logger was faulty and replaced within a few days and Sophie guided me effortlessly through reconnecting the WiFi logger (fairly complex) process. Happy with the results.

Good Service
Replacement Inverter was installed by J Catt Electrical and he was polite.
Service from both the Electrician and Kevin from Sunboost was excellent.

Terrible customers service and installation.
Building reports states that due incorrect solar installation that my roof is leaking in our bedroom (brand new home). Photo evidence after 10-11 months and refuse to fix it. Customer service after installation was terrible and they will not respond in writing to my claims.

had solar panels already and took up the offer of sunboost to help save money and use the sun for energy
The installers Joel and 2 workers where wonderful. polite, clean ( took away there mess) worked as a tema and came at the correct time after giving me a welcome call the day before. Would totally recommend them for installation at any time.

Don't count on Sunboost for warranty
I informed Sunboost of a faulty system over a month ago. One of the isolators has stopped working. Since contacting the company they have given me the run around. They simply have not been able to organise an electrician to inspect and replace the faulty part. Such delays and fobbing off customers is unacceptable. I can not recommend Sunboost.

3 months for nothing but a busted roof
BEWARE.
After 3 months of frustrating lack of communication and Sunboosts reluctance to commit via email, 2 different excuses for the delays, me having to chase them for details and answers, wrong details of agreed products and then a change of product details at the last minute, finally the installers arrived. Hooray. I get my $11,000 system finally.
However I was emailed on the Monday that it would be done Friday (TODAY) and they turned up Tuesday. As I had specific requirements for the installation I told them to return Friday as agreed.

Read moreoday they turn up, break 1 tile in the first minute after me telling them repeatedly "walk on the front edge of tiles" and me being told "I've been on thousands of tile roofs, I know how to walk on tiles" they then proceed to break another 6 tiles in 5 minutes by either placing their weight in the centre of the tile or by kicking the tiles to move them up under the next. The only spare tiles I have are slightly different in size and mostly were put along the edge of the gutter so those could replace the broken roof tiles (they will now only leak on the eave, hooray) my insurance won't cover the damage as it was caused by a third party. They then said "We can put all the panels on the other roof because the tiles are stronger" which is strange because they are the exact same tiles, and also negates the reason I wanted them in the location I specified (due to summer solar transit and a pre existing system). By this stage I just wanted these gronks off my roof.2 comments

Great Customer Service
We had an issue with the switch which was moving to off position frequently. Whenever I phoned the Sunboost service number, Monika from Service group responded almost immediately. After doing couple of diagnosis checks, Monika organised for an electrician to come to our place to find and resolve the issue. The issue seems to have been resolved at this stage. I sincerely thank Monika and Sunboost for excellent customer service in addressing and resolving the issue with our solar system Sunboost installed in December 2018.

I was told installation would happen on 12 January. Three installers showed up and scoped the job (this is something other companies do BEFORE the date of installation and, if they are operating professionally, BEFORE they agree the price).
The installers made some comments about the need to run conduit and have an electrician to install.
Today (Saturday) I had a call with Sunboost telling me the job would cost a further $500 because it would take a day to install the wiring to the inverter and meter box. There was some (gobsmacking) comment regarding if it were not installed according to legal requirements, I could not use the solar system if it were inspected by relevant authorities.
I explained I had been offered a price, agreed a contract, expected the system would be installed in accordance with legal requirements and I would not be paying a cent more. I have asked Sunboost to send me a firm plan regarding installation by Monday, at the agreed price and, if not, I advised Sunboost I would have to consider my options.
Completely unsatisfactory performance to date. Hopefully Sunboost will redeem itself.

One of the 3 installers was the electrician on my job. They cant install it without an electrician. I had my site inspection on the day of install ebven after I asked for one prior. The electrician used conduit to run wire which is a requirement for all cabling anyway.
I did have another company come and do a site inspection but the person who came was rude and basically told me he was wasting his time with me. He also quoted almost 3 times the price for a similar system

We signed our contract with Sunboost on 13/11/2020 and paid our $200 deposit. We were supposed to get the system installed before Christmas but Sunboost Reps would just ring a day before installation and cancel. We have made endless calls to them and been transferred to installers who tell you that they will be coming to install and then they don’t turn up. Then we were told that our house was too high for the installers. We complained and was told that a representative from the installers would come and have a look at our house today then install the next day. We are still waiting. I wonder if Alan Border knows how this company really operates?

I didn’t have such issues. We had few cancellation due to rain on those dates . Who was the sales person. We had Mark. Talk to him and he will sort you issues.

Sunboost don’t let you talk to anyone but who they want you to talk to. It would be a waste of time asking for Mark. He probably doesn’t handle my area. We are in North Brisbane.

Oh well, you probably forgot to mention that, customer need to pay 300 deposit in order to secure the lowest price. Then it is wonderfully come with 10 days cooling period. customer will get REFUND with cooling period. Amid fee $150 apply. Wow easily, regardless what, sunboost gets 150 with every customer that they loop in thro “10 days cooling period”
