Very disappointing
After too many forward and backward, making the contract, getting the finance approval, and waiting for installation, all of the sudden they cancel my job because it is too difficult for the installer. However, I told them from day one that they need to come and visit the building and they cannot rely on Google Maps and didn't listen to my advice. If I didn't insist on-site visit, they didn't want to bother themselves and visit the site. They asked me for 150 AUD for the site visit, but I didn't accept. Finally, they came, visited and after one week's follow up didn't accept the job.
Very disappointing and unreliable service and wasting time.

There systems are not what they advertise
I had a Sunboost 6.6 KW system installed at the end of 2020 and it has never lived up to the salesman's expectations.
A licensed electrician checked the system which is producing 900KW. I have spoken to Sunboost and still have not seen a technician or anyone to fix the system.

The Worst Company To Deal With
Additional charge after final quotation submitted. No pre-inspection resulting in 30 mins for the installer (3rd Party) to locate the best route for the thick cable. Did not comply with my body corporate MiTek engineering report for load bearing requirements and placed wherever “they” wanted. Submitted a map proposal of lost effective layout and completely disregarded it.

Damaged my home during the install.
After the install was completed I noticed large scratches over half the length of the guttering in the exact spot the installers were passing the panels onto the roof. I called to inform Sunboost of this damage and I sent photos through also. I explained to the person on the phone that this was a brand-new house that I had only moved into three months prior to which his response was he didn’t believe the installer caused that amount of damage. I’ve been given no time frame when that will be. Being a new house I asked that the section of guttering be replaced and not painted but was not given an answer how they propose to repair it. Bad Sales

Problems from the start with having to wait over 3 months for installation after approval/deposit paid, and that was it having been expedited! Approved in December 2020, not installed until the end of March 2021 (This goes against Sunboost's 1st quality promise). Whilst we accept this may have been the case for 2 weeks in February, it doesn't apply for the rest of the time. We are now in the middle of March, the last 2 weeks the weather has been great, Sunboost have stopped contacting us and we continue to lose a substantial amount of money. Whilst it seems they get high review ratings on here I wonder how many are unverified. Incompetent and dodgy workmanship
Metal shavings left on brand new roof that coursed rust spots!!
Not secured properly!!!
Told on phone that we could have 6.6kw, so paid for that.
When they came to install they could only fit half the panels that I paid for.

If the installers of my solar system had just done the right thing first time, ,i wouldnt be in this state. A new system sitting on the roof doing nothing for at least 2 months, yet repayments are loosing us money. Sunboost need to be onto this kind of inefficiency because its going to let the reviews plummet fast. And hey my customer calls are going to indialand where they dont know much whats going on in Australia..... NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
Purchased a 9.9 kw system. Was told the circuit board to my house required upgrading and the installers could do that on the same day. I agreed to the additional cost and came home ofter the install to find half of my power points and lights no longer worked. Several days and numerous phone calls later, I managed to have the installers back at my place (the day after the arranged to be there) to fix the problem. Came home that night and found every time I switched on a light or power point my entire switch board would trip out. Called installer...

Sent sunboost a very direct email promising legal action should they not correct the issue and the deflected the problem to the installers again. Long story short, after numerous calls and messages, the installers came back and fixed the issue as described but created another one as now several of the lights that were working now trip out the circuit board and different power points no longer work. Everything worked fine prior to the so called upgrade and now they're trying to tell me there is a fault in the wiring and to call someone else to fix it. I paid 9k for this so called service and it has been a nightmare. My next step is to follow up on my legel threats as knody from sunboost have ever even bothered to check if my issues had been fixed. saw here that this company had a great review, so went to their site to put details for them to contact with a quote.
received call today from a guy telling me that he has a special deal
- because some of people in our area in teh process of buying solar from them

Customer service, product and after sales is awful
I had this system installed after being advised it could be done quite quickly. After a month and a half it’s still not working. They advise the electrical system doesn’t need to be upgraded until after installation (even though this was double checked by sales and the installation team) . The mobile and online apps don’t work at all and just time out when you put your details in and the system does not configure to wifi when installed. SunBoost don’t want anything to do with you after you have signed the contract and there’s no app support so we don’t even know if it is working at all. Stay away.

The sunboost is not the best
The sun boost system is very poor quality because after 2 years the system has to be checked to see that’s functioning without any problems and that there’s no any corrosion on any of the parts and it will cost between $400-450 to have it done by Sunboost otherwise there’s no warranty on it

Poor installation, rude and derogatory
I am less than 12 months after installation of a large solar system. My roof has been leaking due to poor workmanship. I reported this to sunboost and they took 3 weeks to send someone to even look at it. When the installer came to look, he climbed in my ceiling photographed the wrong part of my ceiling and claimed there was no leak at all. they didn't climb on the roof to check. Customer service left me in tears and treated me like a liar. I had someone else come and the damage was clearly caused during installation and used substandard fixings including plastic cable ties. Three tiles were broken under the solar panels.

Read more Regards, Sunboost OnlineMy system instalked at 1 Balook Street Lauderdale is 6.6 kW with Enphase micro inverters. Max output recorded is 5.4kW.from 12.00 noon to 4.00 pm on 12 Feb 2022.
It is a truncated bell curve. I observed this maximum flat output 5.4kW on many good days. I think the inverter limits the output to this amount while the panels produce (at higher irredium levels) rated power.
Need the installers to investigate. I have read about MPP of the output curve with respect to the load.and different irredium levels
