A Fault with the system
We had a problem with the system not working< we contacted Jasper and within two days he arranged to have it checked and repaired as the system was still under warranty.

Good Solar Panels
Good and easy service, workers installed the panels within a day, polite and helpful and cleaned up before they left. Panels look nice on the house, and overall satisfied with the work done so far.

My solar going into alarm
Project number 173196 which has been handled by Carter. My solar system was regularly going into alarm and shutting down and then after a variable interval the system would come back on line. Contact was made with Carter and he investigated the cause and contacted me yesterday with a fix. The system now needs to be monitored to see it the fix is successful.

Solar panels have lowered my electric bills considerably
Installation was done in a professional and timely manner. Minor warranty work was required but taken care promptly. Sales, installation and warranty staff returned phone calls followed up on the work progress.

Fast install and excellent post install service
I found Sunboost online and submitted an enquiry on their website. They offered me a great deal on a 6.6KW system with Trina Solar panels, accommodating my request to upgrade to a Huawei hybrid inverter at a reasonable price, $4,100 installed after rebate.
The contractors were out within a week of paying my deposit and I was generating in no time. Unfortunately, soon after install the inverter started throwing an error and I had to contact Sunboost for support. Monika at Sunboost customer support was extremely helpful and very responsive. She...
Read more arranged the trouble shooting with Huawei who were very quick to check the system logs and said it was an installer error. Monika then had the installer come out and check the system (which took the installer a couple of weeks), after which he concluded the inverter was faulty. Monika arranged a replacement inverter with Huawei which arrived the next day and a new installer swapped the unit the following day. All in all a good experience despite the inverter issues (these things happen). My only criticism would be that the original sales agents were quite pushy even though I had already made up my mind to purchase the system, they kept insisting that the advertised deal would end at the end of the month (May 2019) even though the same deal is advertised today. Quite typical and rather unnecessary sales pressure tactics. They were also quite pushy to get referrals from me. I suppose that's sales though. Overall, I am happy with the setup, the speed of service and the quality of the install.dustinIllawarra, NSW

Very Good Service from Kevin in Customer Support
I had the system installed in February 2018 but after noticing the red light on the Inverter in February 2019, I rang Sunboost and spoke to Kevin who was very helpful He guided me over the phone to try to remedy the problem but after a technician came to check the Inverter it was determined that there was a fault and the Inverter was replaced under warranty. It all appears to be working fine now. Thank you Kevin for keeping in touch throughout the Warranty process and keeping me up to date.

I consequently filled out the appropriate forms and emailed them as was requested (I am still receiving text messages and emails encouraging me to refer Sunboost to others) but I still have not received the referral fee. Solar installation
I have the solar installation get done on the same date which i was provided and that was so good i did not had to spoil any of my leave. Again when my wifi stick was not working Zara was so helpful and she contacted me many times and send me a new stick. Again she was so dedicated to contact me on the date i received it and helped through the phone to get it fixed.

I was told installation would happen on 12 January. Three installers showed up and scoped the job (this is something other companies do BEFORE the date of installation and, if they are operating professionally, BEFORE they agree the price).
The installers made some comments about the need to run conduit and have an electrician to install.
Today (Saturday) I had a call with Sunboost telling me the job would cost a further $500 because it would take a day to install the wiring to the inverter and meter box. There was some (gobsmacking) comment regarding if it were not installed according to legal requirements, I could not use the solar system if it were inspected by relevant authorities.
I explained I had been offered a price, agreed a contract, expected the system would be installed in accordance with legal requirements and I would not be paying a cent more. I have asked Sunboost to send me a firm plan regarding installation by Monday, at the agreed price and, if not, I advised Sunboost I would have to consider my options.
Completely unsatisfactory performance to date. Hopefully Sunboost will redeem itself.

One of the 3 installers was the electrician on my job. They cant install it without an electrician. I had my site inspection on the day of install ebven after I asked for one prior. The electrician used conduit to run wire which is a requirement for all cabling anyway.
I did have another company come and do a site inspection but the person who came was rude and basically told me he was wasting his time with me. He also quoted almost 3 times the price for a similar system

We signed our contract with Sunboost on 13/11/2020 and paid our $200 deposit. We were supposed to get the system installed before Christmas but Sunboost Reps would just ring a day before installation and cancel. We have made endless calls to them and been transferred to installers who tell you that they will be coming to install and then they don’t turn up. Then we were told that our house was too high for the installers. We complained and was told that a representative from the installers would come and have a look at our house today then install the next day. We are still waiting. I wonder if Alan Border knows how this company really operates?

I didn’t have such issues. We had few cancellation due to rain on those dates . Who was the sales person. We had Mark. Talk to him and he will sort you issues.

Sunboost don’t let you talk to anyone but who they want you to talk to. It would be a waste of time asking for Mark. He probably doesn’t handle my area. We are in North Brisbane.

Oh well, you probably forgot to mention that, customer need to pay 300 deposit in order to secure the lowest price. Then it is wonderfully come with 10 days cooling period. customer will get REFUND with cooling period. Amid fee $150 apply. Wow easily, regardless what, sunboost gets 150 with every customer that they loop in thro “10 days cooling period”
