Don't ever go near them esp if you are out of Queensland, The only reason I went was they promised any ATM access for free , but pathetic bean counters changed the rules in six months and now we are struck with them,
Customer service staff are just plain dumb, I would any time go to Commonwealth bank rather than Suncorp. I made a big mistake pls don't ever fall in the same trap.

I have 5 loans totalling nearly $2mill with Suncorp. I have paid the loans without issue for over 5 yrs now. As a result of wanting to say interest only on two loans, entire portfolio had to be reveiwed. This took over two months. When I went to sign paperwork for changes, they said it had to be reveiwed again. Customer service is appalling - the loans division don't seem to care about customers - just hide behind procedural rules like "we take up to 10 days for this". The "service" people are powerless to make anything happen. I will never get another product from this institution again and will begin to move my business elswhere.
Appalling lack of customer service, beaucratic bungling
We are with suncorp as they are one of the only lenders that will lend 95% of the property value and also lend the mortgage insurance amount. We only have a basic loan with the only extra feature being a free redraw once a month. We did have to set up a banking account with them to transfer money out of the loan and into our bank account, which was frustrating seeing as the loan payment comes out of our current account just fine, but they won't do the other direction.
We also seem to be sent a huge envelope every couple of weeks. I unders...tand we are only in the early part of the mortgage (4 payments) but the amount of wasted paper is enormous. Every time we have rung the company they have been pleasant and very helpful and patient with our newby questions. Our broker dealt with the loan process for us, but it was done amazingly quickly and easily. There's a LOT of paperwork! Some issues with the redraw and transfer of money.
My entire home loan experience with Suncorp has been positive. In particular I can't praise highly enough the lending manager (Tracey) that I dealt with. She helped me through every stage of the process, was always approachable and contactable, and went above and beyond her job description to help me with the purchase of my first home. The loan itself is easy to understand and work with, and so far I have not encountered any 'hidden' fees or charges.
Very flexible loan, approved quickly. I found the Suncorp staff and in particular the lending manager to be extremely helpful at all times. The lending manager was able to give me an on the spot approval and followed my application all the way through to settlement.
