Would never touch a supreme again.
We have a 3 year old supreme classic. Nice van but have just had our 7th major thing go wrong. This time an illeagal power inlet to van which fused onto our cord. Have had to replace gas regulator . Trip out switch. 2x taps. Roof hatches in bathroom and shower, kept going up slightly when travelling. Very frustrating and shocked now to find out this electrical fitting is illeagal.

Do not be misled.
Photos and emails to prove they are dishonest. Check the swaying by towing it yourself being aware it is empty before you hand over the final payment. Check the weigh bridge certificate is not a $20.00 cash job to certify the weights are correct as we got.

our pick up
we picked up our Supreme classic tourer amidst all their hype re the pick up excitement that you were supposed to feel that was supposed to be generated by them but the excitement of picking up our new van was not as per their statements probably because we were previous owners with a trade in not requiring their OVERPRICED EXTRAS AND ADD ONS needing only a new set of anti sway bars which they fitted for us for a lot more than it was worth. Whilst waiting we were informed that coffee was only available at the nearby shop whilst we waited.Great van very happy but felt very let down as we drove home

Poor quality product as the service is worse
Would be the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Low standard of workmanship on construction with a lot of faults and inferior materials. They ignored all requests from dealer and ourselves to sort problems. Lies everytime we spoke to someone from Supreme.
We gave up and sold van 8 months after having it built. So many people we know have problems witb alot of van brands. Over the whole caravaning and going back to boats.

Leaking Van
We bought our Supreme Van 18.6 Executive, paid over $55k, the van is now 6 years old, we had continual leaks in the roof area and the back of the van into the ensuite, the van actually leaked on our first trip, the sales agent was of no assistance and Supreme would not talk to us, we were directed to the dealer.
Supreme offered no assistance on how to rectify the leaking issue, eventually I repaired the leak using a combination of 3m Extreme Tape and Thermoshield Paint from Enviro Queensland, so far so good.
Considering you pay a large amount of money for this purchase, the after sales service is non existent.

Not so Supreme, buyer beware
We bought a new Supreme Classic 19’6 semi off-road and collected it in August last year. Had ongoing issues with sway, and lots of other problems including:
A crack in the panel behind the toilet
A crack in the top of the toilet
A chip out of the bedroom window frame
Mottling on the toilet seat
Leaking hose under the sink
Leaking hose under the van
Battery charger wired incorrectly, resulting in batteries not charging or holding the charge.
Fridge not starting on gas
Bad rust on A-frame

A note to the above. We were only able to use the van for a total of 9 days in nearly 9 months due to inability to get warranty work and sway rectified.

Extremely unhappy wouldn't recommend to anyone
Purchased 24ft supreme spirit ll November 2016. First trip away water leaking near bed found that the hot water hose was too short and leaked whenever the not water was on. Had to replace the hose and fittings at our cost as we misplaced the receipt. In May 2017 we started our trip around Aus, halfway across the nullarbor we had problems with the wheel bearings which were supposedly were repacked during the first service ha!ha!. While driving through SA and Victoria found out that the caravan was too low damaged the step to such an extent that...
Read more we had to remove it and purchase another step, also whenever we used the washing machine the shower recess filled up with water. We also had to have extensions added to the tyre carriers because they were scraping and they shredded the wheel covers. We managed to get some of those things fixed but the van was still too low and was still scraping whenever we went over a curb. We decided to raise the van while the work was being done we had to replace the bushes as they were nearly worn through to the bolts they were flat on one side instead of being round, we were told that if we had gone away without replacing them they would have gone through to the bolts and axles would have broken away. I would never recommend this company to anyone. September 30th 2018 Update: Extremely unhappy wouldn't recommend to anyone Further to our first review EXTREMELY UNHAPPY we have found that the wiring for the fridge in our van was not the correct size. We have had to replace the wiring because our fridge was not working properly when the fridge was on 12 volt. while driving. We have found out that wiring should have been 8mm and not the 4mm that was supplier. We think it is time for COMPANY to sort out the problem as we are not the only ones to have this problem.JohnPerth, WA

Very disappointing van
We have a semi off road van, it’s had to be strengthened and fixed a couple of times, not any off roads at all. Stove has moved, back bathroom panel split. Shower door fell off and gouged floor. Jack will not lift the van, on asking for another after 5 months they sent us exactly the same. Not pleased and will never advise anyone to get one at all. Just cost me $2500 for a new fridge. It’s 6 years old.

30th anniversary supreme caravan
We collected our van in 2016 and hardly used it for first twelves this. During this time their toe splash back cracked in two places, shower hose broke, strips came off five doors, clips that attach box under bed have broken therefore bed is not attached to floor, outside fold down table is cracked, all within twelve months. Workmanship is not great for a van that cost a lot of money. I did expect better. Wonder what's ahead.

Supreme Caravan - consider carefully
We took delivery of a new 20’6” Supreme Executive late May 2017. At first glance both the exterior and interior appeared fine. HOWEVER, then our issues started.
We were sent out of the dealer’s door with a ball weight in excess of the 310kg that our Mitsubishi Triton could legally tow. We have alleviated this by having a caravan repair centre relocate the front water tank to behind the rear axle. By relocating the water tank we have lowered our ball weight over 100kg and are now towing legally. This problem came to light after we had the v...

Be Ignored Or Abused
After years of correspondence, our fight for justice is ongoing. Our Supreme caravan was brand new. We hardly used it in the first year. Up to this point in time we have paid over $16000 of our own money to have faulty manufacturing replaced or repaired. This bill would have been twice this amount but our wonderful repairer found hail damage so our insurance paid out another $18000. We had a chassis so weak it bent, metal staples through 240v wires, little or no sealant which resulted in the worst dry rot we've ever seen, no insulation even tho...
Read moreugh there is still a sign on it saying 'fully insulated' and the list goes on and on and on. Supreme have done nothing. We sent them over 1200 photos proving the state of our van but all we got was abuse. They now refuse to answer any correspondence. This company is toxic. Don't go near them.Find out how Supreme Caravans compares to other Caravan & Camper Trailer Shops

Supreme arrogance
We bought a 30th Anniversary van with a number of modifications from Supreme. On delivery we found that many of the variations we had ordered and paid for were not installed. Our view was that the different models of things are installed to save money and that they just hoped that we would not notice. Things advertised as part of the anniversary package were not supplied and when questioned we were told "oh we have changed our mind and decided not to include them". Thanks to a dealer who was also as frustrated with Supreme they made up a pack a...
Read morend provided it to us. Quality control is atrocious at Supreme. A number of items like fans and electric hatches were wired with reverse polarity. Have just returned from a long trip and found the van comfortable and easy to tow. But we have continued find small niggley things that highlight the lack of quality control and attention to detail. Things like a jockey wheel that can't be used unless you have a block of wood under it because it is too short. No silicon dealing under the panel that the shower fittings are on in the shower, no proper locking on the sliding door into the bedroom, draw that fell apart and the list goes on. Have corresponded with Supreme at a couple of levels and been treated extremely rudely. The dealer has been great but I think due to the arrogance of the Supreme management and owners have ceased selling the vans. Leaves us in a bit of a quandry as to where to do to get services to maintain our warranty (if that's worth anything).Julie

Pathetic
My parents bought a first supreme spirit in 2009. They were very excited about their new purchase after years of caravanning with us (their young children). This was a time when they had retired and wanted to reconnect as a couple after many years of working and bringing up children and grandchildren.
What a joke supreme caravan have been! Not only have they used sub standard steel in their chassis.. imported from China but they have not provided any customer service not only to my parents but many other elderly folk. My elderly parents have ...
worst company ever delt with
This company should not be allowed to make or sell caravans they treat people like they are trash when it comes to warranty problems i will never deal with this company as long as I live I'm holding my breath about the court case pending . I don't like being treated like an idiot
Slack after warranty treatment
We had a 24' Spirit custom built a few years ago. 2 years on I discovered the van's back end had dropped. Contacted Supreme with a quote from a local repairer and was sent a curt email to say it was out of warranty ie too bad. I had a structural engineer inspect it and his report was alarming. The van chassis was under designed even when the van was empty and garaged, let alone packed for a trip. Still got nowhere until I contacted the chassis maker. The manager from Road King was wonderful. We sent the report and photos down and they decided t...
Read moreo fix the chassis at no cost to us, except for taking the van to Melbourne plus fuel and accommodation cost (which wasn't cheap). Which brings up another point-why do we have to pay for transport costs when the build was shonky in the first place? Our van cost close to $85,000 5 years ago! We later discovered that Road King is owned by Supreme. Why didn't Supreme send us straight to Road King rather than give us the brush off? We had numerous issues with the shower leaking only to realise that the problem was because the chassis was bent and bending. Since the chassis rebuild we haven't had a leaking shower. We also have one of the stupid corner half circular showers with 2 glass shower doors that were continually falling off (on the bitumen, not gravel roads). The handles eventually broke off. When we asked about replacement ones, which we would have paid for, no answer. We've had similar problems with small screws around the microwave, oven etc. and have replaced them. Some weren't even in wood, just fixed to the ply. However, from what we've read ALL caravan manufacturers need a huge kick up the backside. It's about time the government regulated this industry then there may not be a necessity for the lemon caravan website. And now there's the problem of dealers from the caravan and auto industries selling rigs that are over weight and illegal. Not happy

Caravan warranty and service
Purchased 23ft Spirit in Feb 2016. Drove to Melbourne to collect and delivery was terrible. Reception lady was rude and even though we had pre arranged collection time, the van was not ready and we waited 5 hrs for them to finish. The van was filthy and damage done to floor, walls and kitchen bench. Washing machine was installed incorrectly.
This was mentioned to staff who were uninterested. Months later issues still not resolved.
My advice is NEVER PURCHASE A SUPREME. They are only interested in taking your money and nothing else.

Hi, could you please let us know the remedy for pin 8 on the 12 pin plug melting. Van is 18 months old. Have heard of people taking the wires from plug and socket on pin 8 and joining them in a single Anderson plug. Your input would be appreciated. Cheers Alan. Pin 8 is the fridge supply.
