Recently sold my beloved Gsxr 600 2010; after 3 years of ownership, I have to say this was one of the best toys I have ever played with. Love every single minute spent on it.
Extremely responsive and it makes you feel all the power at your finger tips. Riding position is quite comfy comparing to YAMAHA R6. It's also very forgiving as I upgraded from a Ninja 300; I dont tell a lot of difference when doing corners; its stability gives you high level of confidence.
The only shortcoming is color. I wish it brings back its classic Blue from the 90s.
GSXR 600 is a very good all round bike and strikes a good balance between predictability, power and comfort. A lot of bikes out there are very track oriented making them very unforgiving. The GIXER is more well behaved, once you get used to it. Like the R6 you do not sit on the tank thus making it more ergonomic and less aggressive! Read moreving said, I am not a very aggressive rider and focus more on the overall enjoyment aspect of the ride rather than just speed or acceleration. If you are a beginner and not too sure about your own limits or someone who needs a comfy supersport to commute or for tracks then, the gixer may the be right bike for you.- 10 reviews

Suzuki gsxr 600 k4: what can I say, awesome Bike all round, light, heaps of power, easy to find parts and very common bike that every mechanic knows and has worked on..
Bad points. If you seriously a good rider on track you would upgrade the brakes. This is common issue for any stock factory bike.

Great value for money sports bike. incredibly reliable even after 100,000kms. Minimal engine work done (and normally overdue). Good seat makes touring possible (try that on an R1). Does what it should and does it well.
Purchased when Suzuki NZ had a crazy deal on K3 models at the end of 2003 (13k NZD). They seem to do this regularly and the lower prices do make Suzuki's hard to go past if you're still deciding. Anyway - so that was in 2003, and I've still got it having clocked up 114,000km. Garaged till about 50k and been living in Aucklands ra...
