This is the Best Buy I purchased for the pram for my grandchild.
Great pram for new born baby - plenty of room for baby to stretch whilst sleeping.
Living out in the country the Beema pram was Excellent - smooth ride going over the different terrain and on smooth surfaces. One of the best suspension I have ever felt while pushing uphill - never felt any pain in my wrist like other prams. If a baby can sleep while pushing this pram over rocky terrain I’m pretty sure my grandchild was very very comfortable. I certainly would recommend the Beema to any Mother who is looking for a good walking pram for her new baby.
I give it 5 out of 5 l
Purchased in May 2013 at Planet Baby.
We called it " THE BEAST " because HOW GREAT IT IS!
We got the pram from my mother in law..she bought it second hand from buying and selling website. To be quite honest at first i dislike this pram because i thought it's a second hand must be the quality is really poor.
I WAS WRONG!!!
We called this pram " THE BEAST " because its really sturdy..durrable..strong..easy to steer and great manoeuver pram...not just that the storage is huge and roomy!!! have a peekaboo window in the hoodie!... 3 style recliners! not to forget the foot moof cover up and very cozy.
We use this pram when our baby...was 6 weeks old...we didn't use any bassinet at all...just put pram liner and the head liner for baby...soon as she was 4 months no more headliner instead she already in 2nd recline position. Our baby always love this pram...because soon as we put her in the pram...she always fall asleep for quite long! We used this pram on the bus on the train...took it to the shopping centres..the beach...and lately to the park going up and down the hills..all the terrain! now we have little compact light weight stroller as 2nd stroller to keep in the car as The BEAST takes lots of room in the boot....but The Beast always be our main pram!!...LOVE IT!!!
I purchased this pram as a walking run about and it has been brilliant - it is sturdy and durable. It fits in my small car boot no problem and also folds up in 1. Provides comfort for bubs with 3 different seat positions including complete lay flat option. Underneath basket is a great size for shopping. Overall really thrilled with this pram.
I am looking at purchasing a new hood and seat cover as the one i have is extremely sun damaged - i know this doesn't effect the product use just more for me - does anyone know where i can get this, i have done research online but not having much luck, i have submitted a form to babysmart and i am awaiting a reply.
Perfect, never had a problem
Absolutely loved this pram, bought mine new in 2004 and used it for my second little girl in 2012. Loved the inflatable tyres and the bassinet insert. Great manoeuvrability. Only issue for me was this one was a little heavy as I had a bad shoulder, folded so easy though.
Wish I found this sooner
This is the BEST of four prams I have tried, very happy. It is a fairly large pram which some people I know don't like, but for me I loved it, my little girl can sit up, stretch out or lie down. The pram is really hard to overbalance if I put some bags on the handles ( this happened a bit with the other prams) and the storage underneath was very good. Manoverability is great ( can go over most surfaces easily and can even do with one hand most times). Easy to pack down although a little bulky.
Great handling. Comfortable
This is my third pram for as many children. I bought it second hand on gumtree with matching basinette. This pram is amazing. It's the best one ive used and I've used top of the range Phil and teds and valco. It's so manouverable and easy to use and stores well in the car. Bubs is so safe and comfy. Also Chouce just rated this best three wheeled pram in 2013. Can't say enough enough about it. Love it.
I got a second hand one on a whim and didn't think much of it. But I've found it so useful. It has small bike wheels and can be taken on almost any terrain. I thought about getting a new jogger to replace it but couldn't find anything better. I can run with this and my running times are nearly the same as running without the jogger. People get a little dissapointed when I pass them with a pram running in the park run on the weekend!
Easy to manouvre. Great for running.
The back wheels extend past the pram so get caught on things, like doo...
I wanted a jogger pram as well as. A second, indoor pram. I bought this second hand and in great condition, as it is well built/made.
The length of it will be a problem for some but i like it as theres enough room for my feet - im tall and so is my partner. It has a great multi-position handle - superb. For couples of different heights so everyones comfy.
Pneumatic wheels help distribute bumps in the ride and the seat is great for newborns, providing you use an appropriate head support (goldbug etc) and maybe a small towel under head to p...rotect fontanelle. My bubs slept often in this pram. Handy pocket for keys, wallet, nappies and wipes at the back of the snshade is super handy! Yes, it doesnt come with a parent or child tray but there are many replacement pod/tray items to hold drinks etc if this is what you desire. Dont underestimate the value of linked brakes like on this, my other pram has 2 seperate and i hate it.
I purchased this pram 2nd hand as I was fussy about having a jogger pram as close to my previous pram as possible (previously had a Landcruiser). The Beema Q Swallow has three inflatable tyres making it very smooth over any surface/terrain and super easy to steer, even single handed. Very easy to fold and unfold and the pram is quite light considering its size. Suitable from newborn to child, the backrest is very easy to adjust with one had into any position. The adjustable handle makes it very comfortable to steer for both myself and my very t...all husband. Although it's not recommended, my 3yo has often ridden comfortably on the hard plastic wheel cover piece at the front while bub has been in the pram. A very strong and sturdy pram with metal spoke wheels. The brake bar at the back is very easy to operate (even in thongs!).The hood offers excellent shade cover, especially when little one is sitting upright. Can be a tad bulky when folded, but it is a large pram so it is expected. Love the basket space underneath, can fit so much in there! I love this pram and was fortunate enough to find one in near new condition at the fraction of the price of a new one! Easy to steer, large storage basket underneath, adjustable handle. Slightly bulky when folded.
Best Value 3 Wheel Pram on the market if your looking for 2nd hand pram
I write this review as i think this is best 3 wheel pram available in the 2nd hand market as this pram is not available new any more.
I wanted a 2nd pram for walking and to take with me as 2nd pram in larger vehicle. (we have small combi pram in smaller vehicle and main pram for the mum)
I only needed a cheap pram that was easy to push, it ticks the box in all the right places for me.
1: easy to push
2: large to carry baby up to toddler in comfort for both parent and child.
4: can run with it (best for light jogging and general fitness) ...
Great price & fits in small cars!
After a LOT of research, we ended out getting one of these prams second hand but still in good condition. While it may not have the "overly designed" look of say, a Bugaboo or a Quinny, these units are practical in every sense and have everything we need.
One of the highly understated values of this pram is that it double-folds into quite a small space. This fits in the boot of a Hyundai Getz, which only very few useful/practical prams do.
Overall very happy.
Very practical, lots of pockets, fits in small cars
Tyres seem to get flat reasonably quickly.
Love love love it!
I love this pram and would recommend to anyone who walks alot. I live in a rural area and not many paths - combine that with walking about 5km most days - i need a pram that has decent frame and wheels. This pram was recommended to me over a P&T and for the price difference well worth it. i walk on bush track, road and boardwalks. It is so easy to push and steer. You need the bassinet attachment for newborns and it is so easy to attach.
Price, easy of use, tyres
Can be a little heavy if you don't have good arm strength, faded (most black prams do), bit bulkier than some other three wheelers
Great for new parents!
My son loves sitting in Beema Q pram! We've got 3 prams and he only loves this one. He can sit in it and be happy for us to push around for hours. Very very impressed.
Easy to go on the road. No problems with turning at all. I've seen mothers having problems with their prams on CityCat but I never have any problems with Bemma Q
My son likes to look up and always bump his head on the side. Eventually I had to put attach some pads on the side so he won't bump his head. But this is the only problem we have...
Love this pram!
We have been using this pram for 2 1/2 years now and it gets a thrashing with us as I take it walking all the time, not always on a path and on uneven surfaces, it is constantly in and out of the car and we are not gentle with it. It has never failed us once! I'm really disappointed to be moving on to another pram as I need a two seater.
Easy to manouver, easy to fold, sun shade can be adjusted to any position for bub, comfortable for children, front bar removable.
Quite large when folded, no option for toddler seat, not suitable for newborn without the bassenett option attached as there is no support for those so small.
Lasts the distance
We have had our Beema Q for just over five years and still find it to be our favourite stroller of the five we have used/owned, and it has certainly lasted the distance having clocked a fair bit of mileage. After all this time, the only issues with the pram are a broken lock mechanism (however, pram stills folds and closes fine) and one of the hood "arms" has come unhinged but the hood stills retracts without a problem (and this could probably be fixed by screwing it back into the joint). The brake, handle and seat still work perfectly.
We h...ave used it for all three children, and still do as we will use it for our sleeping five year old if out and about. It is so easy to maneuver, even one-handed, and I love that you can recline the seat with one hand also. Brake is easy to apply with your foot, even if wearing open toed shoes, and there is plenty of storage with a large under seat basket and behind th seat pouch. It's a shame there isn't the option for a double. Can't recommend this stroller highly enough. Fantastic value for money, sturdy, easy to steer, seat reclines easily with one hand, easy to collapse, large under basket storage At 10kgs, a bit on the heavy side compared to some of the newer prams on the market.
Great buy, i have passed on my recommendation to many family and friends. Keeps well, very hardy and easy to clean. Bassinette is easy to attach and a must have for your newborn. LOVE IT!!
Very easy to manouvre, smooth ride for the child. Great size for a toddler once baby grows up. Nice big basket for storage. Easily moved handle to accomodate for any height of person pushing.
No available toddler seat attchement. Heavy to lift into the boot of the vehicle. the joint where the hood folds juts into the seating area, which my son continuously hits his head on. The basket underneath is hard to access when chils lying or when using the bassinette.
I've had lots of prams in the past and this one was loaned to me for my third child, I'm a sucker for popular brands and stylish design so this pram really surprised me - it has a lot of features that other more expensive prams lack. It is a dream to push and it is wider than some other prams, but from supermarkets to street shops, shopping centres, restaurants and even on trams in Melbourne - I've never had a problem getting around tight corners or small spaces. The basket is hard to access in a lying position or when the bassinet is in use, b...ut you can unbutton part of the mesh on the side and then access is easy. I've noticed that the new Beema Q's have slightly different fabric, this one was purchased in 2006 so I don't know how different it is to the current ones in Baby Bunting. I was loaned additional accessories to go with the pram: bassinet, footmuff, raincover and sunshade. I didn't bother using the black sunshade, I think too much black just absorbs more heat on a hot day and the hood provided sufficient cover anyway. I forgot about the footmuff but if I remembered I would have definitely used it for those cold days outdoors. The bassinet was wonderful for my newborn, I absolutely loved it especially as baby could face me (used it until baby was 6mths old) and the raincover came in very handy as well. I've just bought a Baby Jogger City Mini as I've returned the Beema Q to the owner, who will be passing it on to another family member, I think the next person will love this pram! So easy to push and beautiful to manouvre, even over rough terrain! I took this pram over gravel, grass, hilly areas and even the beach (was difficult to push over sand but do-able) and I could turn easily even with one hand. Huge shopping basket that doesn't sag at the bottom when you load it up, there's also additional storage on the back with a very large pouch. The foam handles are really comfy to grip. The big wheels make it very stable, I always placed my huge baby bag over the handlebar and it didn't tip even if baby wasn't in it. The brake is easy to use and you can apply the brake no matter what type of shoe you're wearing, I'd been shopping for a new pram lately and I cannot believe how hard some brakes are to use. Handle is adjustable and so is the handlebar that baby holds. Noisy hood, the bassinet that you can get for use with a newborn also has a noisy hood - when you expand or fold it back it sort of clicks as it folds, this is not a major negative though. I found the pram to be very long, I'm only 152cm tall so I couldn't see the big triangle piece that covers the front wheel because it sits low - it sticks out the front and I bumped into people's legs all the time, they gave dirty looks in return even when I apologised. Having said that, my older children (6 and 7 yrs old) LOVED sitting on that triangle piece when we were resting or just waiting around! I adjusted the shoulder straps to the shortest possible but they are still too long, even on my now 9month-old. The black fabric fades easily especially on the hood (I used it outdoors a lot but it was always stored in my carboot) and I think the fluoro green piping is ugly but I got over it lol, I also used a woolly liner which made it look nicer and was more cushy for baby.
Overall this is the best pram i could recommend to anyone. It is easy to use is very comfortable for the baby to toddler and is sturdy. Thumbs up. So much that i dont really want to sell it just in case a third baby comes along.
This is a great value for money pram. I bought it for my first child used it for 3 years then put another little one in it. Has done a lot of miles. Is very easy to fold and manouvering is a breeze. I recommend it for newborn to toddler as it fully reclines and has plenty of leg room. Also the hood comes right over to s...
Great! I looked around heaps and read the reviews on here before buying second hand on ebay. Was the best thing I did. I look at other strollers (like the mountain buggy) and still think I made the right choice.
Great stroller, heaps of room underneath and has great suspension. My little one loves it and its very versatile. May look big but is easy to maneuver and fits down most shopping aisles, highly recommend.
None with owning it. Only I worry that now it has been discontinued that replacement tyres maybe hard to come by, so far no issues tho.
Despite what is written below, the Beema Q is not discontinued, you can buy it in Baby Bunting, also the current Beema Q like mine has good padding in the hood, not like the review below.
Would definitely recommend this stroller, so easy to steer and fold.
I love the fact that the Beema suits newborn to toddler, plenty of leg room for when bubs is bigger.
Love everything about this stroller, fantastic value. Agree with the good previous comments listed below. Fantastic to steer.

Does anyone know where I can get parts for my beema Q Swallow?
I have been given a swallow whisper stroller. It appears to have lift up flaps either side that when lifted look like capsule adaptor slots. Can I buy adaptors for a maxi cosi capsule. Thanks Victoria
