Heap of rubbish - first one receiving unit stopped working, and now 4 months later, the 2nd has stopped. Dont waste your time trying to work out what is wrong, don't wast your money.
Swann Wireless Door Chime both receiver units failed within 3 months
Purchased a Swann wireless door alarm with 2 mains power plug in type receivers. Worked for 2 months then one receiver unit failed. Replaced battery in transmitter to ensure full signal strength. Still no go with receiver number one. 3 Months in and No. 2 receiver unit failed. Swann you lost a customer here and also every visitor that has tried your door bell and become irritated since.
This is rubbish
Mine just stopped working within 4 months.
Don't waste your money. It wasn't that cheap either

complete rubbish don't buy these
dual receiver version of this and one receiver failed 9 months after purchase and make a 'ticking' noise instead of the chime. second receiver failed after about 15 months. online retailer infront technologies did not bother responding to several emails for help during warranty period. do not buy this product, it's just landfill fodder.
Volume buttons don't change the volume and the receivers won't stay on the chime selected. I'm not happy about having auld lang sine as my permanent door chime , email contact form for Swann doesn't work either.
Failed too soon
Bought a double receiver pack. Worked well at first but one receiver failed after 6 months and the other gave up at around 12 months. Judging by the other reviews this is not an isolated example.
Spent a fair bit to get the main attachment feature so we wouldn't have to keep replacing batteries and both mains units stopped working, following the same patterns everyone else has described in their reviews. Extremely unimpressive. Will go to Kogan next time as he has proper quality control!!
A waste of time
One receiver stopped working shortly after purchase and was replaced after a lot of hassle. Another receiver has just stopped working a little more than a year after purchase. Erratic behavior, does not ring at times. Too soft a ring.
Purchased twin pack also. Both worked on installation. Now a week later neither receivers work at all. I called Swann customer support who suggested I return the unit to the hardware shop where I bought it and ask for a replacement. After reading reviews here and on Swann's website I won't be replacing it. Time to try another brand!
Does not live up to expectation
I purchased twin pack, installed only worked for a day and one remote bell stopped. Returned to store and tried a second, this time it worked every now and again, front door would ring and remote would. My visitor was left standing at the door. Returned again and third
replacement was installed, hardly worked at all. Returned and took my money. Very disappointed............
It all worked on day one. One receiver unit failed completely on day two. Second receiver unit works occasionally on day three. I will bin the lot and buy cheap Chinese. At least then you don't pay so much for rubbish..
Promised so much, delivered so little
This doorbell sounded wonderful, especially with a host of tunes to select from. Installed no problem in November, but by early January it stopped working. We thought it was damage from a recent storm, and rang the company's Australian helpline. The guy on the other end was American (it's an American product), but despite telling him again & again that this was a mains power unit with no batteries, he kept insisting we change the battery! They were no help at all! So we have tried another product (not Swann) from the local hardware store, and so far so good...... And this is our third door chime..... My husband insists that next time, he'll be buying a door knocker.
50m transmission only if in a straight line and on open field!
I have the twin pack. First chime receiver approximately 8m from doorbell and works with no issues, second chime receiver is in a stand alone studio approximately 38m from doorbell with only a timber door and large windows but has never worked. I have tried placing the chimer in different locations to no avail.
Easy to install
Distance is misleading even with minimal obstruction between doorbell and chimer unit.

We got swan smart video door bell and charging it as required. To open the cover from bottom with little Alan key the screw came out. Neither it will open nor we can fit the little screw. It is hopeless to have this way to secure the bell with the plate. Do not know how to fix it now and taped it temporarily to hold it with plate. Any idea what could be done to secure it. Terrible way to secure it with difficult to handle little tools.

This product is a wireless door chime that works by placing the doorbell feature on the front door and a receiver somewhere in the house. It requires a DIY installation. There are 32 chimes to choose from, adjustable volumes, a 50m transmission range, can be mains powered, has a backlight which accompanies the chime and comes in a modern gloss finish.
Some people thought it was a good product while it worked. Many people, however, found the product to be of brittle and bad quality and broke very easily.
