Worst customer service youll ever come across
Stay well clear of this mob , if you need tools grab them from other shop . Zero customer service , one of the worst I've come across. Their return policy doesn't exist even if product is faulty . Hello fair trading. I will never buy or recommend these to anyone . Stay well clear , their prices aren't the cheapest either
Very bad service, This is my first time and last time to this store
Bought products within one weeks, it fault in first used. Take back ask replacement or refund ( poor quality).
But only offer repair , manager are very rudely. I should read company review before I go.

I'm utterly disgusted and appalled by the service I received from [name removed] and the manager at Sydney Tools Taren Point. I've spoken to [name removed] over the phone a couple of times during the quotation process and I have to admit that he's always been a bit unfriendly but I thought it was just his personality. I've had a few call backs from him requesting me to get back to him ASAP if I wanted the machines. When I finally made the decision and called back (only because their price was better than Aussie Pumps) I regretted it. I explaine...d I needed the machine by Friday for a specific job. He asked if I was going to make the payment then and there over the phone, which I agreed to. He took my credit card number and then asked if it was my first time purchasing from them. I said yes and he said that two amounts would come off our Credit card and as soon as I have confirmed the amounts (part of security protocol) that he would release the order. When I said no hang on a minute our credit card transactions are not visible immediately, not for a few days, he said well sorry then you will have to wait till they have come through and contact me. I told him that if I had known that I would have bought a machine locally as I have told him I needed it by Friday. I also could have done a direct transfer into their account as that would show up sooner than the credit card purchase. But no he didn't explain the procedure to me prior to putting the purchase through. Then when I spoke to the Manager of the store he was even more rude. Telling me that they have googled our Business and it looks suspicious. We have an address in one suburb but we have requested delivery in another. Yes our P O Box was for another suburb but our companies physical address is different to the PO Box suburb, since when is that a crime? The credit card name was in the same name as the Directors name on the website! Their whole approach was unprofessional and I have been treated like a criminal. This must be because of my foreign accent and the fact that I am a woman. So they just assumed that I have a stolen credit card! I'm sick of this type of discrimination. I get it that there are security measures in place as an office manager and bookkeeper of a company I fully understand, but we always have a responsibility towards our customers. They have the right to be treated with dignity whether they are men or woman Aussie or foreign they're willing to support your business and you need to be willing to treat them equal. Explain your procedures to customers and allow them to make an informed decision. Don't process our money and then wash your hands... Next time I will rather pay a couple of dollars more to a company that is willing to treat me like a proper customer and not a criminal!. Unfortunately I could not select zero stars! One star rating is way tooooooooooooooo high for the treatment I have received! Never again!!!!!

Disgusted by the service!!!!
Absolutely disgusted by how they treat first time customers for over the phone orders. Getting treated as a criminal and accusing us of possibly using a stolen credit card! How dare you! [name removed] & his manager do not know a single thing about customer service! Once the payment went through and we could prove we were not using a "stolen credit card" no apology was given!
The way they spoke to our office lady was so degrading, she was close to tears.

If you really have your heart set on using Kresta than look for another store and stay away from Taren point! Otherwise, be ready for incompetent, uncaring, rude and lazy customer service as that is all you will get. We didnt end up going ahead with our purchase with Kresta at all, out of fear of what else we would come up against. Glad we didnt now, particularly after becoming aware of similar complaints and reading poor reviews about the product itself.
After 7 months of stuff ups we insisted on a 100% refund and got it
We had measure & quote 2 weeks before Xmas 2014. price was reasonable compared with other BIG companies that quoted, they promised install before Australia Day 2015 which made us agree to go with them.
Australia Day came and gone and we had not been contacted, Finally install occured the week after Valentines Day 2015 but unfortunately 14 of the 16 blinds were damaged (scratches on bottom bar of blinds), and one of the chains was only half the length of the window.
We complained to the showroom, and salesperson and supplied photos of all th...e damage. They agreed to replace all 14 damaged bars, but said it would be 6 weeks to get the replacements in. 6 weeks came and gone, we had to follow them up. They NEVER returned a phonecall, we had to chase them every time. They had lost some of the replacement bars but were happy to come and replace what they had. We told them not to bother until they had them all. The next we were notified was when the installer called to say he was on the way (unexpectedly) we checked if he had all of the replacements, but he said he only had 1 bar to replace. We told him to turn around and not bother until he had all 14 replacement bars. Weeks passed, with the showroom passing the buck to the sales manager and so on... At no time did management contact us despite repeated requests for this to occur. Early June 2015 we finally discovered that the replacement bars were ready after having to chase them up again(they were still NOT calling us). The installer came in in on a Saturday in mid June 2015 and started to replace the damaged bars when we noticed the replacements were also scratched. (We noticed there were metal filings inside the plastic sleeves they were transported in causing scratches on their 4000km journey from Perth to Sydney) We then inspected all of the 14 bars for scratches and found that 12 of the 14 replacements were also damaged. Whilst the installer was in our house we called the showroom to complain, and they said that management would need to get back to us on Monday.

Went to Sydney tools taren point and asked if they had a a certain tool chest in stock and they said yes so payed $200 for item and then they instructed me to take the chest off the floor in which I refused to take the display model... so requested my money back and they refused to give it back and said its against there policy ( which is illegal) literally 10 seconds after handing over my money they would not refund and insisted I take the demo model....after informing them that this is completely illegal and suggesting they contact fair tradi...ng to check for themselves...they then decided to give my money back.... the staff were extremely arrogant and I will not be returning to Sydney tools again... The store has no prices anywhere and the staff suck
