Amazing customer service by Chaddi El- Hage
We visited the Alexandria store on 27th June and after we picked up what we wanted, we went to the billing counter and was met by this amazing employee Chaddi El -Hage who was very knowledgeable and had excellent customer service. He went out of his way to give our item for free.
This staff member knew his stuff and made my day!
I was looking to buy a swag of Makita 18V tools and accessories and had been dithering about for 3 weeks online between the Sydney Tools and Bunnings websites. Decided ultimately that I had to go a physical store to look at the tools "live" and get staff advice about the best options for me. Turned up at Dulwich Hill on the second last day of the Financial Year (busy!) and after a short wait was helped by Robert, who patiently took me through all of my options showing me the skins, answering questions and working out the best way to give me ban...g for my buck! He spent 30 minutes on the floor with me that day, and another 15 minutes next day via email adjusting the order and improving the pricing on my $5K basket of goods, which is a large ticket for me as I'm not a tradie but just kitting myself out pre-retirement. I'm now taking a few days to think on the order but have to say I was so impressed with the time Robert gave me, his patience and obvious knowledge of their stock, I'll probably return to complete the transaction. As a contrast I went to Bunnings straight after to see if they could improve the pricing. As much as I love my local Ashfield Bunnings staff, I went to the Kingsgrove store because they have a much larger power tools section. Arrived around 2pm and found it very difficult to get the attention of staff in the power tools section. When I did manage to ask my first question (about batteries), the staff member gave me a perfunctory response, nodded towards the batteries display and then turned her back on me to continue her conversation with another staff member. Didn't seem interested so I walked out. What a difference between the shops!
Kevin from Sydney tools helped me today with all tool and hardware needs. Helped me get what I needed quickly and easily and made some good suggestions on other products which I purchased.
Will definitely be coming back here.

Mixed Experience but attention to customer service.
Whilst my actual experience with Sydney Tools was mixed I do have to go 5 stars for this review due to my interaction with the Sales Manager at their Port Melbourne store, Andrew. At one stage he even offered to drive my goods out to me in his own time to try to make up for shipping delays beyond their company’s control.
From that exemplary effort to go the extra mile I would most definitely shop with them again.

Due to Covid 19, Festool had some issues with delivery of parts. To make things worse their product registration was also down. In all that time I have experienced the best customer service from Alex. He followed up and got the job done for me and even made the offer to deliver the product directly to me after work in his own time. I can’t ask for more. Thank you Alex and thank you also to Kevin and Brendon. Sydney tools Penrith a great team and should be recognized.

Tried to charge me 55% too much
Went to the store , chose the Xtorque Angle driver bit holder, model no: XTAD01, $29 on the shelf ticket. Went to the counter, man said, that will be $45, I looked suprised and looked over towards the display. he said," Oh you are looking over there...OK" and then charged me $29 .
Came home check on line, price was $45!! plus $10 delivery.

Helpful, professional staffs at Hoppers Crossing Store.
I purchased quite a few items from the Hoppers Crossing store and recently, a Lincoln LE64 post hole digger. I have been a regular customer there ever since.
The store manager Brian and his team have been very professional, helpful and took great care of customers like me.
Apart from the few months delay on a shipment of Dewalt 4 port charger which I have purchased and cancelled, I realised then that it was not their fault and beyond their control, due to Covid 19 pandemic. I am sorry for the recent bad review.

Been buying for the Mitchell store from some time now, if I know what I’m after and I run and grab it don’t need service it’s fine. On multiple occasions recently I have asked for a assistance and the service is terrible. The other day I needed a replacement key for my makita angle grinder, went into the store spent asked the guy behind the counter where I could locate it, he immediately and ahhh’d and was to lazy to assist or even look up what I was looking for and told me to order it online. This morning I called as I was looking at buying a ...Milwaukee 3 piece chordless rattle gun combo and wanted to know if a high torque impact could be added to the kit and the fella on the other end of the phone couldn’t be more disinterested in assisting me and flat out told me that the kit is too small to add anything extra in? I’m perplexed, does this store make too much money that they are not interested in the sales of smaller items, the kit is still close to $1000. This is just a few occasions but I bet if you call and ask for help on something they most likely will seem disinterested. I’ve witness the staff in this store being rude to customer asking for assistance and being condescending and disinterested in service. I’ve taken my business to total tools in Fyshwick instead now, lovely bunch of staff there.
Can I just start by saying sydney tools at warrawong all the guys there are tops lads, but today I dealt with a guy called Nathan, what a legend, give the kid a pay rise and if you don’t ill hire him, such a great representative of this company, easy going and happy to help in any way, 10 out of 10

item missing parts/ not as described. Sydney tools chat service were unhelpful as they terminated connection before the issue was resolved. Store salesperson does not reply to emails in effective timeframe nor give advice. Expect the customer to drive around the country to fix their / Milwaukees product faults
