Synergy Solar and Battery

I have written a poor review about Synergy service regarding meter readings and charging a fee for that. I do not directly want to accuse them of punishing me for that, but I ordered a Tesla Battery by NaturalSolar and all was arranged for installation on Friday 25 June. By far the worst in Australia and completely ripping off people with rooftop solar. It's outrageous when comparing to any other power company in the country. The WA grid should have been privitised and competition introduced decades ago.

We had been looking to install a solar system to our rooftop here in Mindarie WA. After checking reviews, we decided on going with Synergy Solar as we believed that they would give us a level of service which you would expect from a government owned entity. Their quote for an install of a 6.6KWH solar PV system comprising of:
1: 20 x P370 Optimiser
2: 20 x Q-CELL Maxx 330W
3: 1 x SolarEdge 5.0-1 with backup
4: 1 x SolarEdge Meter
all inclusive of installation at a price of $9,736 after rebates (Full cost $13,311.17)
Their price was the highest ...

It's a pity that unlike gas, we have only one company providing electricity in Perth. Synergy is very inefficient and wasted a lot of my time (several times in the past few years) and this company reminds me of how government organisations work. They think they're assigned by God and customers are their slaves. I'm very unhappy with the current case I have with them and there is nothing I can do except lodging a court case if they don't fix my bill issue in the next couple of weeks. installed 6.6kw solar system in Busselton assuming what's not used goes to the Grid...because Synergy doesn't want all this backflow..it reduces the flow at their end..it in turn triggers my system to generate production in concert with the allowable uptake.. that business model includes overlooking the minimised "export kwh" by not crediting them on the bill/invoice.. not happy.

We move to our new 2 bed apartment on 17 September and received the bill for 20 days of $400. We did not cook, we did not have time at home to furnish. So our apartment is empty, no dryer, no washing machine, no fridge. And the bill is $400. We called them to resolve, they bargained the bill. Finally, agreed they did incorrect calculation and agreed the price to $66. But next day they sent us a letter with declining all the conversation, and advised they accepted for us to pay the amount by installment.

This is ridiculous and ripping off. This is unacceptable, how could a state owned company behave like this? Avoid them at all cost

Synergy installed 16 panels in our roof advised us that we get most power of the sun from north with 4KW inverter.
Their installation team caused damage to our ceiling: crack between ceilings to cornice, we took photos and sent them, and they were rejected and they refused to compensate us for the damage. We ended up paying for repair of the damage.
At approx. 2.30pm in sun set this is the most power of the sun we don't get any benefit because there are no panels installed on the west side of the roof, only in north side, we phoned them aski...

WAlinta installed Solar Synergy denied it has been registered with them pity my wife kept all documents which prove Synergy are dysfunctional as a company.
After 4 phone calls and then being hung up on due to phone calls are disconnected by call center after 25 minutes on hold.
Now I have been sent an email by review post that they cannot post this review due to more information???
Is Synergy a sponsor of this site we have had nothing but problems since Synergy became involved with our power.

Having just spend $6500 for a 2Kw solar system I get my first power bill after the intsllation and to my horror Synergy charged me for 458 units at 22.62 cents and credited me 162 units at 8.4 cents I undestod the tariff but before I went in to this I read the Syergy explanation of solar power feedin tariffs and nowhere did it say your input power will be credited when you import more than produced would I have known that trick I would not have botherd with solar so if you contemplate solar make very sure you are aware of this.
