Website closed/phone disconnected
I ordered a very expensive dinner set, they took my money after it was in stock, and now the website is closed for maintenance and the phone number has been disconnected. I have emailed twice and no response. I am very upset as they have over $1k of my money and as the payment has been cleared from my card I don't have any chance of getting it back.
Right now - not a safe bet to order from here

TLDR: Called on 21/11/2020 at 2:22pm, was told both items were in stock at that exact moment. At 2:29pm I was emailed that my order was received. However, I was informed after posting this review that the items were not due to get to them until 22/12/2020. Not computer error. Bad business practices.”
After reading below reviews I thought I would at least try this store as they were overall positive, but taking note of the negativ...
Placed the order for a (Messermeister Oliva Elite Stealth Chef Knife 20cm) in February. When queried about slow delivery they told me mid-April. It's now the end of August still no delivery. They have never made contact with me to explain the delay, or offer a refund. They don't answer their phone. I let them take the time originally because of Covid, and now can't do a charge-back. Lack of communication
Purchased an item before christmas, hoping to get it before the day. I then emailed about it asking when it would be shipped and got a reply from Justin saying that it was on back order, which he clearly stated that it was visable on the website and on the invoice. This was OK, my mistake. He also mentioned that expected arrival was mid Feb. I also asked in the same email to add my order to my new account that I created after the purhcase so that I can view the status and get updates, assuming thats what I will be able to do, Justin did not men...tion anything about this in his reply. This first email reply was prompt and took one day to reply on the 18/12/2019. Since then, I replied back asking about the order getting placed on my account on the same day, 18/12/2019. Again asking about my purchase bing added to my account and also asking them to update my address as I just moved interstate. This was made 09/01/2020. Again asking them if they have actioned the above issues. This was sent 13/02/2020. Again asking just for the status of my order. This was sent 01/04/2020.
Placed an order early May, Salad Bowl Set of 3 was on back order. Still have not received it and will not reply to my call and messages, not happy
Ordered an item in September, and am yet to receive it or any further confirmation since the initial order email. Have emailed multiple times over the past few weeks and have not received any response. Very disappointed and unsure of what to do next. usually wouldn't write a review but seeing as they have replied to some here i thought it might help me get a response.
Edit - the day after i posted this review my item was shipped and it arrived 17/10/19. Still no response to my emails. Disappointed as a first time customer to have this experience as there are other things on their website i would like to order but am reluctant to ever order from them again.
Rudeness and blaming the customer is their game.
I ordered a dinner set. 5 days after ordering and not receiving any correspondence I decided to contact them to make sure all was well and get a ballpark dispatch date. After phoning 3 or 4 times with no answer, I sent through an email asking when my order will be dispatched. Some time later I got a bunch of emails from Tableking and Afterpay. The Afterpay stated a refund was being processed. This gem came from [Name Removed] at Tableking: " Hi there, I have received your email and voicemail. As per clearly outlined on the website, our wareho...use is closed for stocktake. If you go to the product page you can see this written in red font underneath the buy button. Your order has not been dispatched. We have refunded your order back through Afterpay". After checking the Tableking website I located tiny lettering under the product itself (note: not the home page or catalogue page) stating that 'warehouse closed due to stocktake, next dispatch on 15th September'. I sent a reply email back to [Name Removed] : Hi [Name Removed], yes I can see it there. I would have waited given the opportunity, but I didn't get the opportunity. To which his immediate reply was to resend his initial email with this line added "Based on your multiple calls and email, it sounds like you need this urgently which we are unable to do at this time". Now look at the other negative reviews. There is a pattern here. I have ordered the dinner set from another company and it's on its way.
Appalling customer service
I placed an order with Tableking in December 2018 and I’m still waiting on the order to be completed. Will not return emails or phone calls despite numerous attempts. Buyer beware
My fault, didn't read the fine print
Not delivered on time, when questioned, they pointed out that transport terms are on their web-site, and the order's late arrival was my fault. Safest thing I can do is redirect their mail to spam, and make sure I don't make the same mistake and buy from them again. I'd rate the goods, but I still haven't got them yet.
Never answers the phone or reply to emails
Never answers the phone always goes to message bank and can’t even leave a message because they don’t listen to them. Send the emails and they never reply. These people have no idea how to run a business. Took at least 4 weeks to get my order when I expected it in 2-5 working days.
When you do get hold of them whey have every excuse under the sun.
Not happy will never buy off them again.
I have been purchasing items from Table King for several years, and have always been happy with their service — until now. I was under the impression that Table King was a substantial business, but it appears from my recent interactions that it is, in fact, a one-man operation.
I ordered an item on 5 September 2018, and when it hadn't arrived by 18 September, I rang Table King's freecall number and spoke to the owner on his car phone. He said that he had been busy with a family problem, but expressed surprise that I hadn't received my order, ...as the problem started after 5 September. The owner promised to look into the issue and ring me back the following day (19 September). I didn't receive a phone call on 19 September, so I thought I would give the owner one last chance before opening a PayPal dispute. I rang the owner again; he didn't apologise for not ringing the previous day, but said that my order hadn't been dispatched. He gave me the option of waiting *several weeks* until he was able to get to the warehouse, or a refund through PayPal. As a former small business owner, I know how difficult it can be when "life happens", but I think Table King could have handled this incident a lot better. I found the same item from another online retailer at a considerably lower price.
Worst Online Shopping
I ordered on 25th June ans was expecting to get it 2-3 working days as they put it on their website.
I waited for a week and no email as to why. so I rang them, then they say they are busy mid year sale blah blah and they told me it will be despatched next Tuesday. Then the Tuesday I still did't get email tracking or anything so I emailed them. They were saying the same thing. the order will leave another NEXT WEEK!!!!! and today which is a day after I sent them an email chasing my order. they say they cancelled my order as the product i orde...
Great prices on products but customer service is just awful.
Found dinner set i wanted on website. Placed 2 of them in the shopping cart... rang to find out what courier they use as that would determine which delivery address to use (home v's work). After some discussion about preferred delivery address location, I was advised of courier company name.. then asked what set i'd chosen. I advised that and was told i would be called back as they needed to check stock levels. After hanging up the phone suddenly my order on screen said 'out of stock' and i never did get that call back. Co-incidence? ...i don't think so. This is my second time around with this company and the first time wasn't anything to crow about either (again, was told goods i had paid for were not available and then we had to do the refund dance) Not impressed and won't be back for a 3rd go.
I ordered 4 coffee mugs (2 x 2 types) from Table King -
I received two of one type of mug - beautifully packaged.
Despite twice emailing them, contacting them once via their website contact, and attempting to phone them three times (advising they are busy and try again in 10 minutes), I have not heard from Table King regarding the other two mugs.
These mugs averaged $78 for a pair - very disappointed with their lack of response.
I fail to see their viability with this business ethic.
Today is 18 November 2017. I ordered these mugs on 4 September 2017.

I placed an order on 11th June 2020. An email on 17th June from TableKing said .. 'we are experiencing major delays of up to 3 weeks. Your order has not left yet and will be approx. another 10 days before it gets out the door'...
It's now 7th July & my subsequent emails requesting an update still remain unanswered. I am hoping someone here can help with any current information regarding TableKing's order processing.
Hi I am having trouble getting any response from these guys. Did they finally deliver or are they rip off merchants.
I put an order in on the 27th July and got one email, but no tracking number and radio silence ever since.
Thanks for your comments. We could not process your order as the credit card details provided were declined. Please check your bank statement as Tableking has not charged your credit card for any transaction due to incorrect credit card details.
