Lost box of crockery
Boxes of crockery & furniture did not need to go far, just from the upstairs to the downstairs garden where the Taxibox remained for less than a week whilst the floors were polished. Now one box of fine china for entertaining is missing. It was a small move and most everything fitted into one T/b. It is not far from my upstairs to downstairs via the footpath.
T/box say they have asked the two sets of removal men if they know anything about my box. Unsurprisingly, they don't. One of them has gone off with my box. Boxes don't just disappear and there are no hidden boxes here. T/b is so far offering nothing. What is the system of compensation?
Number your boxes and furniture and count them all going in and out.

Great storage, terrible customer service
Recently used 3 taxi boxes to store household items while renovating. The boxes were sturdy and the delivery driver exceptionally helpful. He did his best to make access easier for us.

Very bad with response times after filling out the form that's required to get our stuff out. Both times taxobox ending up costing us more money. Dunno if would recommend however when at pick up the guy at the side was very helpful and it was easy to access and get it all done quickly - the stars is for the Champ at site

Good service, room for improvements
Really good service, it does what is promised. The only thing I would say is that you could care more for cases where customers have to park the Taxibox in the city where the parking is paid, perhaps offering pick ups and drop offs in a narrow window would help, also empowering the customer centre to solve problems without having to escalate to their manager would save time from everybody. Worst experience ever
I have used many Removalist companies recently. Taxibox was by far the worst experience. My items were basically “thrown”
Into the Taxibox’s with zero care. A stone table was completely cracked including matching chairs. Upholstery on lounges and chairs were ripped due to poor packing. Outdoor furniture was broken. Boxes were smashed. Boxes of fine China were broken. The entire experience resulted in 80 per cent of my furniture was damaged. When I emailed to notify them they refused to help and kept using excuses.

Won’t go the extra mile -literally
Nice call centre staff but management POOR! Spent time filling info, got quote approved. When they called the following day the management refused to come to our area, despite us falling in the postcode and metro. Said we were outside the border (600m) and would not service area. We also offered additional payment, but they obviously don’t need the business. Wasted 2 days of my time.

I have booked taxibox online before Christmas to move interstate, on the dates that the website says spots available. Contacted them to try to finalise my booking and payment the next day and was told the sales Team was busy as it was near Xmas and will return my call ASAP. Did not receive a call until a week later and was told they can no longer deliver on the day I requested.
Questioned further as even today the website still shows those dates I booked was available, and was told that they have reserved the slots for other customers to retur...

Read more Totally hear your frustration around not being able to grab your preferred date of delivery and we’re sorry we couldn’t make that happen. It is an exceptionally busy period for us at the moment so it’s not always been possible for us to accommodate every booking request. After receiving your booking request overnight, our team gave you a buzz the following morning and left a voicemail. Putting our hands up to the next issue, in that we weren’t able to handle your call back that same afternoon – our sincere apologies for this. The timing wasn’t helped by throwing Christmas and public holidays into the mix either, with our conversation not taking place until the next business day, a few days later. To give a bit more detail, online booking forms are only a request - availability tends to be a bit of a moving target and your booking is only finalised once we’ve chatted to you over the phone. We’ve tried to make this as clear as possible for the customer once they hit submit on website, since transparency is key for us. In light of the Christmas craziness, we’ve had to keep spots reserved for our existing customers to allow for their belongings to be returned. That being said, we understand this can be misleading for new customers and we’re going to work on fixing this to avoid this situation again. We are sorry to have let you down on this occasion but thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback that we can take away and use to improve our customer experience in the future. Basic but don’t expect delivery outside CBD
I had a storage box while selling my house. I moved 1 hour away from the storage facility to Geelong. I was told they couldn’t possibly deliver to Geelong even though I offered to pay extra per KM. I also couldn’t access the box during lockdown to empty it so was paying $120 a month for over 6 months to store a few boxes. It was really hard to find a moving company willing to do it for me and that resulted in me only receiving one quote for over 1500 dollars to pick up the items and deliver.
I’m so angry about this because I was not told that delivery to Geelong was out of scope when initially booking.
Anyway now it’s finally empty and I’ll never use them again.

Lockdown definitely threw a spanner in the works and while we were fully operational and open for access we understand that it was difficult for some of our regional customers to make it down to us. A flexible storage option, easy to set-up and easy to arrange for access. The only issue I had was in arranging delivery back where the website said there were slots but this turned out to be incorrect. The team eventually worked with me to get a solution.

Great service and communication
Staff were friendly and efficient. My only disappointment was I wanted a mid week delivery and pickup and in order to get the midweek discount the 2 boxes sat empty in my driveway for 4 days.

We kept the Taxi Box on our property to solve our storage dilemma for a short period of time. So convenient, so easy! The only trap is they do not yet alert you by email (was promised they would do this 5 days in advance) to the collection date in case you forgot and you have to pay another month to retain it or they arrive to take it away and then you have to pay more!

Read more We totally understand that your looming collection date can quickly creep up on you and so we send courtesy text message reminders both a week before and the day prior (we fear an email in addition to this may feel a little overbearing to most!). We do however confirm any updates to your collection date via email as you extend it out at the end of each month. As our on-site storage service works on a month by month basis, the storage fees are also a month in advance and we just ask that you give us a buzz 2 days prior so that we can process the following month’s payment and extend your pick-up date. We’re having a little trouble locating you in the system (understand the TAXIBOX may be booked under someone else’s name) so we’re not totally across the details of the account. Additional fees may be incurred as a way of recovering costs and this could cover a range of things such as failed pick-ups and any changes made to our schedule after 3pm. In the rare case we see this happen, it often involves extra time incurred to make these changes, and loss of spaces on our truck that could have been otherwise used for other customers. Hope we’ve been able to help clear things up for you though please feel free to reach out to the team on 1300 87 60 87 should you have any questions we’re always down for a chin wag! I'm trying to book a Taxibox for moving purposes.
I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney on the 14th of March.
I'm trying to get a taxibox delivered to my address (on-street parking) on the 12th of March - I'll be on site to receive it.
I don't know my future address on Sydney yet, so I've put down Sydney - 2000 as the delivery address.
When trying to book the taxibox, I get this greyed out box in the "Delivery dates" form, and I can't proceed further. Am I doing something wrong?
