Great storage, terrible customer service
Recently used 3 taxi boxes to store household items while renovating. The boxes were sturdy and the delivery driver exceptionally helpful. He did his best to make access easier for us.

Very bad with response times after filling out the form that's required to get our stuff out. Both times taxobox ending up costing us more money. Dunno if would recommend however when at pick up the guy at the side was very helpful and it was easy to access and get it all done quickly - the stars is for the Champ at site

Good service, room for improvements
Really good service, it does what is promised. The only thing I would say is that you could care more for cases where customers have to park the Taxibox in the city where the parking is paid, perhaps offering pick ups and drop offs in a narrow window would help, also empowering the customer centre to solve problems without having to escalate to their manager would save time from everybody. Maybe also providing the drop off and pick up date 48 hours before would help customers to organise themselves rather than 5pm of the day before. Other than ...

Would not recommend them to anyone - Update
There have been some developments since my first one star posting.
Taxibox has been in touch and a very polite lady explained why Taxi box has issues with delivering boxes just over the NSW when it will happily transport them to its interstate depot in Sydney. The reason make sense but it is a pity that the Taxibox website is less transparent about it’s interstate capability.

Being totally transparent around our communication is something we hold near and dear, though we’re sorry if you feel we might have fallen short. Our interstate service works in a more unique way given that it runs express between our facilities and the trucks used aren’t fitted with the same offloading capabilities to make any stops along the way. Great storage option
A flexible storage option, easy to set-up and easy to arrange for access. The only issue I had was in arranging delivery back where the website said there were slots but this turned out to be incorrect. The team eventually worked with me to get a solution.

Simple and affordable
The service was amazing from the ordering process to receiving the taxibox and then through to delivery at the other end. All staff were really helpful and friendly at all times and accommodated a change to my schedule easily.

Great service and communication
Staff were friendly and efficient. My only disappointment was I wanted a mid week delivery and pickup and in order to get the midweek discount the 2 boxes sat empty in my driveway for 4 days.

We kept the Taxi Box on our property to solve our storage dilemma for a short period of time. So convenient, so easy! The only trap is they do not yet alert you by email (was promised they would do this 5 days in advance) to the collection date in case you forgot and you have to pay another month to retain it or they arrive to take it away and then you have to pay more!

Read more We totally understand that your looming collection date can quickly creep up on you and so we send courtesy text message reminders both a week before and the day prior (we fear an email in addition to this may feel a little overbearing to most!). We do however confirm any updates to your collection date via email as you extend it out at the end of each month. As our on-site storage service works on a month by month basis, the storage fees are also a month in advance and we just ask that you give us a buzz 2 days prior so that we can process the following month’s payment and extend your pick-up date. We’re having a little trouble locating you in the system (understand the TAXIBOX may be booked under someone else’s name) so we’re not totally across the details of the account. Additional fees may be incurred as a way of recovering costs and this could cover a range of things such as failed pick-ups and any changes made to our schedule after 3pm. In the rare case we see this happen, it often involves extra time incurred to make these changes, and loss of spaces on our truck that could have been otherwise used for other customers. Hope we’ve been able to help clear things up for you though please feel free to reach out to the team on 1300 87 60 87 should you have any questions we’re always down for a chin wag! Absolutely loved this service! Only reason not 5 stars is the fact they are closed on Late sat and Sunday when customer service should be contactable to amend bookings for Monday!

30 minute notice not given, had to pay for extra time
I recently used Taxibox for my move and chose the 30 min wait option as I lived in a busy area with limited parking nearby. I was told I would be notified 30 mins prior to the Taxibox arriving so the plan was to move all my contents to street level before it arrived so we could spend the 30 mins packing the Taxibox, however this did not happen. When I got the text message from Taxibox, the driver was less than 5 mins away. Pretty good
Good service. Friendly staff. Especially the drivers. Only complaint was given incorrect quotation on re delivery causing me an extra months rental. Also after finished with the service I got an overdue invoice. Told it was a computer glitch. Otherwise I will use again and highly recommend as there are too many if not all removalists are crooks especially Quick and easy.. good job Taxi Box.

I'm trying to book a Taxibox for moving purposes.
I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney on the 14th of March.
I'm trying to get a taxibox delivered to my address (on-street parking) on the 12th of March - I'll be on site to receive it.
I don't know my future address on Sydney yet, so I've put down Sydney - 2000 as the delivery address.
When trying to book the taxibox, I get this greyed out box in the "Delivery dates" form, and I can't proceed further. Am I doing something wrong?
