Awful product, horrible software, incompetent customer support
Bought a TV, brand new, worked for about 2 months before the software because to lag like crazy because of all the bloatware and advertising TCL kept pushing to it (a lot of being in Chinese for whatever reason). Customer service refused to help saying this was common given the limitations of the model I bought and suggesting buying a better model.

Absolutely Zero After-sale Service, Horrible Product
I bought a TV in Nov 2018 and so far have had 15-20 occasions when it won't start, or after starting won't allow me to change channels or the volume etc. The model only has remote control features, no controls on the body. I have called the Customer Service call centre which is based overseas, possibly 5-6 times already. They asked me to rest the remote, reset the TV, do this, do that, and finally asked me to take the TV to the outlet of purchase. n just does not get through - as if this is the first time I am experiencing what a TV is. Since I am well within the warranty period, I'm amazed that they can ask me to take the TV back to the shop instead of sending a technician to my home to fix it. Are we living in Australia? The outlet then told me it should not be my responsibility to run around, and to call Customer Service back, and that they need to arrange for a technician - the outlet cannot do much else. Customer Service is yet to organize for a technician to get back to me - they said the technician told them they tried to call me and could not get through, which is a false claim. What happened to text messages, leaving voice mails, or emailing me if they can't get through my phone? Just lies, incompetence and zero after-sale service.Similar opinion? i have a 65 C6 which has decided to stay in boot mode on startup. I have tried the soft reset but to no avail.
Has anyone experienced this problem with a resolve. This tv is a sad necessity to help entertain a 2 1/2 year old
