Value for money. OS is slow.
Great value for the quality and resolution and sound. The android OS is slow and sometimes crashes. I have mine on wireless and seems to work perfectly with streaming apps.

Okay but no sleep timer or after sales service
I purchased a 32” S6800 for the bedroom but I cannot find the sleep timer. I presumed it had a sleep timer but now doubt this. Disappointing, but more so the fact I have emailed TCL customer service asking where the sleep timer is without response and have just sent another complaining and challenging them to respond. I would never buy or recommend another TCL tv based on my experience.
Purchased in March 2020 at The Good Guys for $298.00.

Very disappointed, would love to return
TV works ok as a tv, google assistant does not work. Bluetooth and Ethernet works ok, wireless doesn’t. I have enough ports but don’t need them. All I ever wanted and needed was sleep timer, it is there but by the time you delve deep into the settings to set it you’re wide awake again.
Purchased in April 2020 at The Good Guys for $380.00.

Disappointing. Don't bother.
Went shopping for another Samsung TV for the bedroom in 40" and was told there were none in stock but the TCL was exactly the same technology so bought it.
What a disappointment! It takes longer to start up than a PC and have spent hours trying to get apps to work.
There is a delay when you press the remote so many times the TV comes on again because I've pressed it again thinking it didn't work.
This is a case of you get what you pay for!

Pretty good Tv for a cheap price
This android TV is just like your mobile phone. I bought it through Ebay and only paid $340. Be sure to set up using your mobile phone as much easier than manual. Only thing is when you turn it only it takes a little longer to turn on just like your phone. It comes preloaded with some apps but you can just download more. Fantastic TV for the price. It retailed for $500 at the time we purchased it..
Purchased in June 2019 at Ebay for $349.00.

Cheap sh*t...avoid
Overall the unit does perform ok,has the basic apps to get you started, relatively fast loading times, decent picture although the screen will discolour and warp/blur with the very slightest contact which initially seemed sketchy..... My fear of poorly executed, mass produced with minimal customer support and a catch22 warranty that doesn't include any kind of physical damage regardless of how unusual and seeming harmless the circumstances that let to or caused said damage/fault..... The first unit I put down to mystery circumstances,I bit the bu...
Read morellet and accepted it wouldn't be covered under warranty by the company and would have to front the costs....this was a rent to buy type deal through a third party who done the best they could to help in this situation but short of writing up another contract for a second tv and sending it out rather promptly they were unable to find a clause in the contract that would cover this type of failure...... So anyway,I get another tv.... Now I'm currently paying for TV rentals one of which no one on the supply end wants anything to do with because it's broken.... Fast forward a month and I find due to the minimal effort approach in the TVs leg design department it's not the most sturdy of devices, the lcd screens have have sub par protection and wont resist much if any kind of physical contact. Anyway....my house has older wooden floors, which slightly flex under foot..... Turns out this was enough to wobble the tv off the edge of my unit and damage another screen...... In short, the screens have minimal to no resistance against accidental contact damage and refuse to hold any accountability..... Oh,and to repair it it will cost me literally half the retail value of a new unit...... If someone has a lead on LCD screens there's a market here for the home repair guy! Fu#k you TCL!Purchased in July 2019 at Rental agent for $1,000.00.

Has audio sync issues.
Bought the 32” TCL 32S6800S model to go in the bedroom and seemed like it would be a good fit, however there is audio sync issues on all the smart tv features netflix, Stan, YouTube etc. There was also audio sync issues when watching free to air channels but there was an option in settings for audio delay which fixed the problem but that option doesn’t exist for Netflix, Stan, YouTube. I connected a sound bar to the tv with an optical cable to test the audio and there is no audio sync issue when an external speaker is attached. Do I feel the tv...
Read more was worth buying, honestly no since I now have to go buy a sound bar to go with the tv or using Netflix or Stan is utterly intolerable as it’s like watching a badly dubbed film as the sound is ~ 1 - 2 seconds out of sync.Purchased in April 2019 at Harvey Norman for $395.00.
