Good unit for the price you pay
I brought it a few weeks ago at the discounted price. Its doing a nice job so far for its price tag. Good picture quality at this price range. A soundbar would be recommended for the audio. Easy setup. Havent gone in depth with the apps - just used youtube. Will review it again sometime later...

This is a good smart tv for the price!
I purchased this tv from catch.com.au for a reasonable price. The operating system is good although compared to my Bravia the operating system is lacking on some levels, the tv performs well when turning on and starting apps such as Disney, the TEAC TV does not work and causes the operating system to freeze. The image quality is descent enough if you are happy to alter the settings when changing channel or watching different movies and tv shows on Disney Stan or Netflix. The sound quality is terrible while watching anything no matter how much y...
Read moreou alter the sound settings the sound quality does not get better this can only be fixed by using a sound system(soundbar, CD player, surround sound system). The remote feels cheap there is no dedicated Netflix button compared to the more expensive brands the remote is very light weight, the controller has a mouse function although instead of being used like a wand it relies on the up down left right enter buttons. While using apps the settings can not be accessed to alter sound or image this can only be achieved by exiting the app making a change and returning to the app if the desired change has not been achieved you need to exit the app try again and return to the app. The tv is extremely light compared to other brands of the same size. Connecting to the internet is easy and fast with a descent connection. The tv has three HDMI ports a USB port for media or recording to USB from free to air tv channels.Purchased in December 2020 at Catch for $559.95.

Good size but bad picture
I bought a 75 inch TCL a year before for the same price. The TCL is miles ahead in terms of resolution and function though. I bought both online, but had I seen the picture quality of the TEAC in person I might not have bought it. In saying that for the size of the TV it's not bad. I bought a TEAC soundbar that cannot connect as well.
Purchased in November 2020 at Catch for $1,696.00.

Good so far
Quadcore with great screen. 3 year warranty is great. Came with Android 9. Preinstalled Apps were Chrome, Facebook, Youtube, TV Assistant, EShare, ArtPlay, Invisible Art, Twitter, Stan, Miracast, Netflix, Skype, Playstore, Prime Video, Disney+. Easy to setup and can be controlled with a smartphone via EShare. Has plenty of interfaces, 3 HDMI, 2 USB, Scart, AV, YPbPr. Comes with TEAC TV for international TV which would obviously require a good internet connection.
On the downside, it doesn't have enough memory, already over 60% used when turning...
