Treated me like a liar
I won't buy from these guys again. My iPad mini cover was not only 2 weeks late (the website initially said available when I ordered), but then it was delivered (and signed for) by someone who was not me, and not at my house. Whilst Australia Post are investigating, they pretty much said "here's the proof of delivery" and left it at that. I have had to push very hard to get a replacement- You would think that they would treat customers with more respect. Most people aren't trying to steal stuff. Even if I was trying to do something wrong, why would I waste my time over $35?.
These guys are simply ordering in as required- they don't have a warehouse. Dodgy brothers.

i have been talking with the manager named James wafer about the order ETA for several times, but he just kept saying that we need another 2~3 working days, and i am still waiting for it. i could feel he didnt even want to talk to his customer.
personally i dont think techbuy is under good manage because of the manager.

Order an ipad 2 survivor case in colour yellow & black.
Waited for almost 2 weeks and eventually had an email from them advising me it is no longer available.
They didn't even try to re-stock the product or at least send me the item when they have it in stock again.
They simply offered me a black one or advise me to get another one, which of course I have to pay the differences in price.
I refused immediately & requested to have refund asap.
And because I paid by paypal, now I ended up losing a few bucks due to paypal's handling fee.
Ordered Power Adaptor with written instructions requiring urgent delivery. Prepayment was conditional on confirmation within two days that order had been sent.
After four days and numerous unanswered emails, I threatened to register complaint with the ACCC (Scamwatch) and NSW Police. Techbuy then rang,stating the item was about to be mailed.
Techbuy did not send the item by express post which was ordered and paid for.
Nine days later Australia Post cannot find the item.
Four days ago I demanded cancelation of the order and full refund, but TechBuy have simply failed to respond.

How not to treat an Online customer!
iPad cover purchased would not fit the iPad no matter how hard I tried.I was afraid to use excessive force in case I caused damage. Emails were not answered and when contacted per phone claimed they were not received. Strangely later emails to the same address were received.After returning the product and requesting a credit to my Visa now some 4months after the pre Xmas purchase I received a call saying that they tested the returned cover and surprise, surprise it fitted!! To top it off they refused to credit my Visa and after some argument ...said the best they would do is provide me an instore credit to the amount of the purchase price less freight. So I am out of pocket to the tune of two lots of freight and stuck with a credit with a Company I certainly don't want to ideal with! Poor email response. Doubt truth of explanation.Arrogant attitude
Oh man, Why did I bother?
I was in the market for a new PC, and due to time constraints I decided that I would purchase a custom build rather than building myself, I wish I hadn't bothered.
The delivery took 2 weeks and I received no invoice or details of what parts I had ordered for reference. (I had originally forgotten due to the 2 week wait)
They used a cheapo courier who claimed I wasn't in when he tried to deliver it (I was there, and no delivery notice was left, I relied on email to find out) and this added an extra 5 days to the delivery, so it was roughly 3...weeks before I sighted the machine. I wasn't given any of the boxes to the CPU, HDD or anything that I should have received due to my purchase of the individual products and not a pre-built. The system itself was built shoddily, and some things (such as the Blu-Ray drive) were installed using only 2 screws rather than the 4. The AMD CPU heat-sink wasn't fitted properly and if I hadn't checked before booting then I would have potentially fried my $600 CPU investment!!!!

month latter no money, told must have been over looked, be another month

Unfortunately I only checked these reviews after I placed an order. These guys made it as hard for me pay as possible. Firstly I got an email saying I need to verify my credit card. After I chose to pay with paypal instead they cancelled my order saying my paypal account was not verified when it clearly is and I have made many purcheses on it before.

I ordered a battery online which did not fix my problem when I received it, when I contacted Techbuy to return they were extremely rude on the phone. One staff member even hung up on me! Their returns policy is very ambigious..I would not recommend Techbuy to anyone.

Item misrepresented (not as described on web store). Would not answer direct emails. Answered one email via PAYPALs complaint process. Caused a significant delay to my completing project tasks.
The many attempts to replace the incorrect goods left me absolutely frustrated and so disappointed I could not ever recommend this company to anyone.

Sometimes they have products which are cheaper than other online stores but it is worth paying a few dollars more for proper service & quick delivery.

They blamed on their supplier for not having the product I ordered. Website says ships in 1-3 days but this is a lie.

Techbuy are a mob of BS artists with no customer service delivery at all. In these economic times, it's service that will make or break companies but these clowns don't seem to care.
No customer service. Complained that I had not received printer after 10 days and was quoted a connote number which wasn't in Aus Posts system. Complained again, and you guessed it, was given another number which also had the same result with Aus Post. After emailing techbuy with this info, I had no further response from them. They have taken my money but no goods...delivered. It would appear that they are selling goods that they don't have and then fobbing off their clients with BS excuses. Never again will I deal with this mob. The matter has been reported to Fair Trading and I will be doing a charge back on my credit card.
My advice is buy somewhere else don't waste your time and money on an online store that has no clue how to service their customers.
If I can buy from Amazon and receive an item from the other side of the world quicker why would bother dealing with these muppets. Like the previous contributor in these economic times you'd think they'd be doing their best to retain repeat customers not defending poor service.

Ordered Computer fans from them and were advised that they had no stock so I cacelled order. 2 months later they advised that they had despatched the cancelled stock to a no longer used address and helped them selves to my account when I cotacted them and advised the of this they would not answer emails and still have not recieved a refund.
There return system is hopeless it takes 4 days and 3 phones call to get a reply to try to send something back that you ordered by mistake as you clicked on wrong item as their online system is poorly setup all you were trying to buy complete pack of colour toners for your printer they say you can't send back all you want to do is exchange it for the right one. don't ask what your suppose to do with a toner cartridge that doesn't fit your printer and cost over $200.00
Thought they were handy for toner supplies not any more.

Terrible Service and Misleading Information from TechBuy.com.au
Techbuy.com.au advertised on their website that they had a Verbatim External Hard Drive In Stock which will usually ship in 1 to 3 working days. After 6 working days, I sent an e-mail to them via their logged in facility, and guess what no response after 2 working days, after 9 working days, I repeated the process again.
This time I get a response which said: unfortuntely this item is not in stock and is now on back order, ETA arrival unknown. What kind of business are they running? When I viewed their website on the 9th working day in the m...orning they were still advertising the item was in stock and ships in 1 to 3 working days. But as soon as I received their e-mail, I again checked their website, now low and behold, it says it's on back order. That's what I call misleading and fraudulent advertising, not to mention almost non existant customer service. Do not use Techbuy ever if you wish to avoid a similar experience they cannot be trusted for honest business dealings. Dishonest advertising, non existant customer service

1 month ago I purchased a computer accessory and paid 10 dollars for Express Postage. The price was reasonable but not what I would consider cheap. However, after 2 weeks I had heard nothing and received nothing so I contacted them via their website. It was ignored. over the last month I have contacted them via several email addresses and also via their website and every single one has been ignored. After three weeks I received an "automated" response telling me that my item was "Due 29/9/11", 3 weeks after I ordered it. I contacted them asking...what "Due" was supposed to mean and was ignored again. I am still waiting for my item and I am extremely disappointed with every aspect of Techbuy. I strongly advice against anyone thinking of using this website! None whatsoever Price, service, communication in general

be careful they were offering the msi leopard i7 at a ridicules cheap price $500 below retail price i added to cart but then decided to check reviews and saw this forum. so then decided to call and see if they had in stock thinking i would pickup instead of delivery, they were arrogant and they also told me not in stock on back order purchase or something waiting for stock from warehouse.. full of crap dont buy you will get screwed
