Don't use, another online seller who doesn't understand customer service!
I purchased some speakers online - it said ships within 1-3 days. A week (7 business days) later when I rang to check why my items hadn't been shipped, they stated they weren't in stock and would take 2-3 weeks. I then asked why that wasn't stated online and I got a gobful of excuses on how shipping works! I merely replied it is disingenuous NOT to display such upfront before I purchased the item, I stated I wasn't happy and I asked for a refund.
I'll pay them them respect for at least having a number to call, answering the phone and having some sort of a go at dealing with my complaint (albeit a bit pathetically) ...and they did process the refund straight away. Otherwise it would have been 1 star!
Long lead time, poor communication
If they need to order in the item it can take 1 to 2 months, items listed on the site may be no linger available and they only reply by email if it is easy to answer. I was charged for an item that states ready for shipment but was never shipped, i am still waiting for it.
quick service if the stock is on hand

Allcast share unit
The unit works great & I love being able to transmit to my TV without cables. But & it's a big but the courier just left it with the concierge instead of delivering it to my unit on the 16th floor. Anyone could have gotten it & when you pay for something to be delivered to you that is what you expect.
It works well
Delivery was dodgy.

Good range and service but poor stock availibilty and supply is too slow
I have been buying from Techbuy for about 1 year now and I always find their range is interesting and the products are what they say they are online. But a lot of times Techbuy's supply those products takes too long especially if I want them in a large quantity - more than 5 - and their re-ordering of it can take months. I do like that Techbuy offer to cancel and refund my order but that means I have find another supplier. Techbuy as a supplier, have a good website and online purchasing and good phone customer service so its annoying when I ha...
Read moreve to find another supplier that has less than these features. I would recommend Techbuy to a friend but caution them about this. Good products and service poor stock availibilty and supply is too slowMotivated by profit
I went there this morning to buy a hard drive. I have spent at least $500 there in the past . I Asked to use direct bank deposit (with a receipt) No. The person who decided this stayed hidden away. I just get the feeling it's all about the $$$. Moving on to a retailer with more of a customer satisfaction focus.

More than 3 Business Days - Order still processing
I ordered some surge protecting powerboards from Techbuy last Thursday. According to the website, the time for them to "process" your order is 1-3 business days, and only AFTER processing does your order get delivered to you (or you can pick up). Anyway, it's Wednesday now, more than 3 business days since I made my order and it is still processing. I've sent them an enquiry but no reply yet. Regardless, the time for them to organise my order is ridiculous, particularly as they don't even have to pack and post it to me (I am picking up). Faster ...
Read morereply times would also be nice. Lucky you can pay for pick up orders in store, so I can leave my order at any time. The prices of the powerboards were the cheapest I could find but it really isn't any good if I can't actually BUY the product. Some products are the cheapest around Processing time longer than stated, slow response timedont trust what the website says
Don't trust the website. Call the number on contact page, find out. Ordered a HTC one cover over 3 weeks now. Once the money left my acc. Have been told it's in back order. Promised it will arrive 20th may and now saying not until 2nd June. Worse service ever. Not going to return for sure

Items are received..eventually. Defective items are replaced the next year.
Items are shipped after an inexplicably long 'processing' stage and received. Ensure that you hassle them to select an alternate courier, as their default courier is grossly incompetent.
The item damaged in transit took TechBuy eight months to replace, who chose to send replacement parts for the item, rather than a replacement item. The replacement items were also insufficient to completely repair the damage caused.
You can exchange money for goods
Their couriers have butterfingered delivery truckies and leadfooted forklift drivers. RMA process is like extracting blood from a stone.

Weird company to deal with.
I ordered a KVM switch and discovered it was faulty. Had discussions with the manufacturer and was asked to return to them. I contacted Techbuy to see if they would issue return at their expense, but no. They issued a RA quickly and I sent it back to them. Upon receipt they responded saying they had received and they would update me shortly. After at least 2 weeks I emailed requesting an update but received no reply. As It was getting close to the 45 days cut off for resolving an issue with Paypal I emailed them again and the opened a dispute. ...
Read moreWith no reply I logged another message asking for a response or I would be lodging a claim for a refund within 7 days. 2 days later still no response from them and so I check Paypal to find dispute has been closed and a refund issued. I was lucky. My advice is to go to a local store and use their prices if they are the cheapest to see if they can match it. This way you will get what you want and be able to return it locally. Always use Paypal, never pay direct or use credit direct to the company. The item was what I wanted. The company is lacking in integrity and service.Find out how Techbuy compares to other Electronics & Computing Shops

OK
I've dealt with Techbuy on and off for 4 years now. Compared to other one-line computer parts retailers, they have the most reasonable S&H.
Overall, I tend to find that, as long as the automated process flows smoothly, they are quite good to deal with. However, any glitches in the system can make them rather painful to deal with, as my last two orders have shown.
With the first order, I noticed that my order status was still listed as pending, though my payment had cleared over two weeks ago. Unfortunately, after several reassuring emails...

Will hold delivery of a large order for any delayed item
In general I have found techbuy to be reliable and affordable, but they have one deep flaw that has bitten me one too many times. They will delay delivery of a large order until every last item is in stock. In my most recent order, $1200 worth of goods were in stock and allocated waiting delivery, with a further $100 worth yet to arrive. Techbuy delayed the delivery of the in stock items by more than a week, and in all probability would have delayed another full week until the estimated arrival date of the last $8 cable. I contacted them via th...
Read moreeir web site asking for the available parts of the order to ship straight away but received no reply. I then cancelled the entire order! From past experience, a telephone call would have resulted in immediate shipping of the available items, but I did not have time to make a call, and was very annoyed the request via the web was ignored. Not As I Expected..
Alright I'll admit it I'm a hardcore PC gamer, the only problem was that my PC specs sucked! I couldn't live without it and needed an upgrade or two. I found this site called techbuy.com.au, thinking it will be a great site. The prices are pretty good and it seemed very comfortable. As me being a gamer was sucked into buying it, I get everything ready pay and wait... 2 day's nothing.. 5 day's nothing.. 8 day' Eh? Let's call them. They were nice and all but I wanted to play the damn games! They said that the power supply was out of stock or some...
Read morething like that.. "Yeah.." but on the site it said In-Stock? Wait 18 day's and a deliver finally comes. I mean really? almost 3 week's! I live in Canberra and Sydney is 3 hour's away! The site isn't bad but i wouldn't recommend this too anybody. [link removed] is a great site my friend got his pc overnight with free postage.
